I visited Three Little Birds last week, and it was a great experience. From a swift and easy booking, to when I arrived - Manuel took my order, and made me feel comfortable as I waited for my friend to arrive. We were unsure what to order, but we asked our waiter who - suggested the special which was Sweet Potato croquettes. The ambience was perfect, music in the background - as well as dimly lit candles and tables socially distanced so you can feel safe in the current COVID19 pandemic Now, on to the food - the codfish fritters came with a lovely sweet chilli sauce that was extremely nice. It complimented it well, as the calamari was also just perfect cooked with an outer layer of breadcrumbs. Finally, and most importantly, the dessert (not pictured as we hadn't time to take a pic of it) was divine. Strawberry Cheesecake with Lime/Sorrell was the highlight. It ended what was a perfect catch up with a friend, having not seen them for 5 months. I can't recommend Manuel and Three Little Birds in Brixton, I went away feeling nourished and so satisfied by the service and flavours.

My sister and i went here today for brunch. The restaurant was very cosy, our waiter was so polite and even recommended the Jamaican Mary (cocktail made with rum/tomato juice/slice of ginger/rosemary/ tabasco sauce)...it was a little weird. I had the Avocado on toast with slices of halloumi: while my sister had the Jamaican breakfast. All in all, we both had a lovely time.

Absolutely amazing place to relax and enjoy every bit of the time, as soon as you entered. Above all Adam and his cook are extraordinary. I can't wait to come back. Usually the place is well known for Brunch, but they do different types of food. Accompanied with variety of alcohol and hot drinks.

First time eating out on Friday night at Three Little Birds and it won't be the last! The restaurant has a warm, relaxed, cosy atmosphere; cocktails are punchy and the food (although the portions may look tiny at first) is really filling and incredibly tasty. The waiting staff was great - really kind and attentive without being invasive. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience and I will certainly return. PS. Try the cheesecake, you won't regret it 😉

Highly recommended, the food is authentic Jamaican food unlike the crappy chain across the road from there. The cocktails are amazing, you can tell they're big on attention to details. The atmosphere in there is just right without being pretentious. Thank you for a lovely Friday night.

Delicious food and great ambiance! Go for the wings (sweet + spicy) , the fries (smoky), the codfish fritters (sweet + salty, corn was a nice touch), and the fried okra was bomb! Also the cocktails are so yum!! 😍

Stumbled across the place and had an amazing evening! Really friendly and attentive staff. There were only two people on staff but they looked after everyone really really well with no service issues. The drinks were great and good value for money! The food was insaneeeeee. Will definitely be returning! Such good vibes!

The cod fritters and wings in the starters are deliciously yummy. I tried sorrel it is extremely sweet for my tastes, had to water it down to drink it. The goat curry with rice and peas were yummy would order it again. I was expecting regular sized ribs but they came small sized, they were ok. The corn bread I could devour a few very easily! The banana bread with rum flavoured ice cream to end was just beautiful! Great service and nice atmosphere.

Fantastic food and service, loved the vibrant atmosphere and indulgent dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed the jerk chicken skewers, BBQ ribs, roasted fish, jerk roasted cauliflower, okra and spiced sweet potato. Amazing fusion of spices with comforting Caribbean flavours, look forward to the next visit. ONE LOVE!

I’ve been here a few times for cocktails after work but never had any food until Saturday and I was not disappointed! We went for bottomless brunch and it was simply lovely! Food was great, staff were great and as usual the cocktails were great too! So glad to have found this little gem in Brixton!

Lovely spot, great ambience, food and service. The waitress did not stop asking us if we were happy with the food, if we wanted anything extra, how we found it, if we were comfortable etc. They really go the extra mile. Drinks were good and food tasted great especially the mac and cheese (well flavoured), chicken wings (a MUST try!) and jerk humous starter. We were even offered bowls with water and lemons for our hands after the chicken wings. Lovely black owned business! Get down there!

I actually had my wedding reception here yesterday. It’s a nice restaurant and the staff are amazing. Everyone loved the food and cocktails. My husband and I will definitely be going back again in the near future. We actually just talked about going back soon, that's how great it was. I would highly recommend checking this place out for a nice meal, you won’t regret it!

So 4 years ago I wrote this review: "Everything about this place is excellent! Food, drinks, atmosphere and, importantly, the service!" And today I'm back to say that the consistency of excellence is just incredible. Been back so many times, including this past Friday to celebrate my recent engagement and from booking through to the very last drink April and all staff were amazing. Thank you so much for making sure that my night was perfect and for being a great place for food, drinks and good vibes over the years.

I’ll start with the positives: the food was very tasty and well spiced. The drinks were well made and tasted great. There was good music playing. The staff were pleasant people who worked very hard. The 50% off the bill was a wonderful surprise and hence 4 stars. That said, there is room for improvement here: we were 4 people seated VERY a close to another 4 people, in fact there was only a small space to squeeze between tables. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The tables are a little small to accommodate the many small dishes. The seating isn’t very comfortable either, a cushion wouldn’t go amiss. With only 2 staff to make drinks and wait tables, it felt a little hectic and made asking questions feel awkward, it also felt like staff had to be abrupt. I know it’s a tough time for business, but the place was busy, it’s bad management to understaff and will lead to complaints. The music was a little bit loud for chatting over dinner and some customers were having to shout to hear each other. Although delicious, the curry goat was served with far too many bones, I had 3 or 4 per mouthful. The sharing punch was difficult to serve due to the ridiculous amount of ice in the bucket and of course, the small table; at £35 a bucket, I questioned how much punch there really was. The staff assured me there were 5 servings, quite an odd number - make it 6 and remove some ice! However, I would still recommend it as we had a pleasant experience overall, and I would like to think customer comments are taken constructively.

Every time I come here it is a truly inspired experience - the decor is rustic but chic, the food is delicious and well proportioned. There's a carefully selected variety of dishes that really capture a fusion between traditional Jamaican flavours and dishes and popular brunch and contemporary cuisine. The servers are lovely, and really attentive. Personally my favourites are the jerk wings, the codfish fritters and the signature rum punch ❤✨

Truly delicious food and cocktails in a lovely setting. The staff team were all so welcoming and personable. This was a great choice for a special birthday meal. All 5 of us loved all our dishes, drinks and the warm and lively but relaxed atmosphere. The music was excellent too - numerous (even rare groove) favourites were played! Perfect! Thank you to all at 'Three Little Birds' Brixton for making it such a great and memorable evening! 😆

Good food, And friendly service. Pricing is a little high for the serving size. They’re extending the Eat out to help out scheme into September so half price is appreciated! Goat curry is flavourful and tender. Calamari is excellent. Rice and peas turns out to be rice and beans, and a little disappointed that it didn’t come with the goat curry as standard. They see it as a Tapas place with a Caribbean twist.
