Personal favourite Italian in London. Amazing service, quirky interior to match quirky owner who is absolutely wonderful and the food...stunningly delightful. Simple, great food. Can’t fault this place, will be going again and again and again. Try the Arrabiatta, the beautiful bruschetta and don’t forget the homemade bread. Ask for the balsamic and oil!...beautiful.

I thought I'd already reviewed it, so in haste, a quick line; the pasta I ordered in a tomato sauce with aubergine (I love aubergine!) was really excellent, tremendous, strong flavours. I was reminded of this today as had a similar dish, also excellent, in another local place so wanted to check I'd reviewed Trattoria. I said to the staff I loved the dish and she said it was a speciality of theirs, that's nice to know. Enjoyable!

As an Italian, I can guarantee that this is authentic Italian home made food. The chef and his family provide a lovely atmosphere. The portions are large and prices very convenient. They also organise private parties and have an outdoor seating area.

A treasure trove of taste sensation! Discreet, efficient and friendly service... Just the way I like it. I could have been in Italy, such was the ambience, aromas and flavours. It was such a delight to hear Italian spoken. The Limoncello carries the memories of my volunteer work in Tuscany all those years ago and the sunflowers on the table.... Well.... The nicest touch! Absolutely fabulous 💞🌾💞

Visited the restaurant last night the 21st September and I went by the reviews on line and I was not disappointed. The food was amazing and yes they did have a child there but it is obviously a family run business and I didn’t mind this neither did my daughter. We had main courses and I had a desert I went for my favourite tiramisu which I loved and when we asked if we could take the rest of our wine outside to relax and enjoy it, they said yes without any hesitation. I would say if your in the neighbourhood go try them the prices are better than the other places in London we tried, the food is fab and the house wine was really good. If I’m ever back I will be visiting again.

The best Italian experience ever! Francesca doesn’t take any bookings after a certain time as she doesn’t want too many bookings to affect the quality of the food they serve. The trattoria is a surprise, it doesn’t stand out and looks very shady, but believe me, it’s is the best food from Positano served with love and passion. You will not regret if you travel here for a taste of real limoncello and pasta with bottarga! 👏🏻❤️

TUTTO BUONISSIMO! 2x5 Stelle One of the best Italian restaurants in London! I enjoy the delicious Neapolitan food that they prepare for many years! I love any dishes in the menu , also all Special, but the Gnocchi al Salmone , Spaghetti Carbonara, Ravioli Granchio, Calamari and Zucchini fritti, Milanese are the best I ever had in my life! Bruschette, Focaccia , Pizza are really nice and tasty ! Banoffee cake is my favorite, also the tiramisù and housemade Cakes very Yammy! For Take away I found them the same Buonissimi, I've ordered many times by Deliveroo the same quality and delicious! The Manager Francesca is always Glorious, Bellissima , Gentilissima , Polite, Smiling and sunny ! They had created tipical Italian style , nice and cosy atmosphere ! I don't miss any available time to visit the restaurant and order a lovely Spritz and drink nice wine! I love you Trattoria Urbana! Don't give up, we 'll stay forever with you as open restaurant as takeaway !Me and my friends can't do it without your best genuine food and service!

Really friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and very yummy food. Quite expensive, but not extortionate by any means. Been twice and had a lovely meal both times. Can highly recommend the truffle pasta and gorgonzola chicken.

Finally a real italian place in West Hampstead! Real italian people, real food and great atmosphere. Francesca and Franco are amazing hosts and the food is so genuine, tasty and homemade. You won't find the cream in the carbonara and also, so rare in London, you can eat traditional italian recipes as "Past e Patan".."Past e Fasul"...or "Gnocchi alla sorrentina".. 100% RECOMMENDED and addictive!
