The room was really clean, decorated in a subdued British style and very pleasant. It was quiet (my room was on the upper floors so we hardly heard any noise from the pub). The staff was really kind and nice. I forgot to bring a power adapter, so one of the staff lent me his. In short, wholeheartedly recommend. Location, very close to the metro.

Excellent. We spent one night here and stayed in room 10. The room was very clean, spacious and modern with all amenities you would want. It was a hike to get to the room as it was at the very top of the building but they do inform you of the stairs before staying. The bar is cool and you get a discount if your staying there but the prices aren’t bad anyway. The food is amazing too.

The Grafton Rooms are a lovely oasis near the city center. The manager is hardworking, kind and friendly. He ensured that every detail was taken care of during our stay. The room itself is surprisingly large for a London hotel. They provide water, coffee, and even chocolate upon arrival. Our stay was absolutely lovely and I would stay here again if I return to London.

This is such a quaint little hotel above a classic pub. Sparkling clean. Comfortable bed! Space for luggage. Towel dryer. Dog pics! Close to subway and shops. One of the best places I have stayed in Europe!

Had a lovely evening here having after work drinks and food with friends - we were sat on the roof terrace, you can order from a QR code to save going downstairs to the bar which is very handy. Drinks reasonably priced for London, with exceptionally tasty and decent priced food! Staff were really friendly, efficient at clearing empty plates and glasses, and helpful in putting up the awning when it started raining. I would definitely recommend this pub for drinks and for food! Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay - but the pub was kept well with very clean toilet facilities so I imagine the rooms are likely clean as well! Only (very minor) comments that weren't significant enough for me to reduce this from a 5 star rating: the website that you ordered through didn't have all of the items on the main menu - they had no section for small plates on the website, it was unclear if they had sold out of all of the small items, if they didn't offer them any more but were still on the print menu, or if they were available but the website menu wasn't up to date. This wasn't a major issue as we were all happy ordering other things and we could have asked the staff if we'd really wanted anything from this section of the menu, but probably something worth checking! It would also be nice to see some mocktail option - there was a good cocktail menu so I would have also appreciated some mocktail options - that being said there were plenty of soft drink options so I wasn't without choice!

Tucked away just off of Warren Street it looks like a pub. Pleasantly surprised when i walked in to find the menu is Thai. The staff are friendly, welcoming and empathetic. They were serving a large group of people and offered a free drink due to the wait. Being understanding that it was busy, whilst it was a lovely gesture showing the staff are super empathetic, as they had a very large group to take care of I was understanding. Didn’t stay at the hotel this time round but for the location and service as well as the very competitive price I’d definitely consider it x

Only had cider, cocktails and nuts on a chance visit on a sunny day in central London. Wanted a nice spot off the main drags and this was perfect. Staff even took care of our dog with lots of water. Drinks were strong (2 cocktails for £10.50 in happy hour!) and surroundings were nice. Can’t beat that.

Spacious rooms for London and the service was excellent! Friendly cleaning ladies, friendly waiters and friendly manager. Although you can hear people walking up stairs and doors closing, the rooms are very quiet once you close the double window. Always nice when you're sleeping in the middle of London. Our only let-down was the airconditioning: noisy, hardly working and the central airco-exit makes deep vibrating noises, going straight through walls and earplugs . Should be had a look at. We also had a nice Pad Thai on our first day. Everything, from Camden Market to the zoo to the British Museum is close-by (20 minute walk tops). We recommend Indian restaurant Agra around the corner.

Friendly helpful staff, great food and drink and is in a great location if you don't mind stretching your legs a little into London. 20 mins from King's Cross and 20 mins from Soho (on foot). Great rooms, but the climb up to rooms 9,10 and 11 will have your calves busting. Roof terrace was perfect for relaxing with food and drink at the end of a long day soaking up the sights and sounds.

Yesterday, I had an unforgettable experience at The Grafton Arms with my colleagues. We spent time on the terrace, enjoying a pleasant ambiance and a relaxing atmosphere. We were all impressed by the appearance of the pub and the delicious quality of the food. But what truly caught our attention was Paola, the blonde girl who came to take our order. We were a group of 8 people, and each of us ordered drinks, appetizers, and main courses. However, Paola didn't write anything down, which was a bit surprising at first. We watched her taking orders from other tables without jotting anything down, without a notepad or a tablet. We already wondered if she would come back to ask us again what we had ordered. Nevertheless, it was amazing to see that when she brought our drinks and then the food, everything was perfect. None of us received the wrong order, and Paola wished us a pleasant dinner. As if she had a photographic memory, she served us exactly what we had ordered without mixing up anything or asking whose dish was whose. Curious, one of my colleagues went down to the bar and was surprised to see Paola preparing cocktails. After we finished eating, we asked her how she manages to remember all the orders. Her answer was modest: "I don't know, it doesn't seem complicated to me; it's actually quite easy." During the conversation, we found out that she had graduated in engineering and was currently pursuing a second degree. We asked her why she works in a pub, and her answer with a charming accent was: "In life, to reach the top, you have to start from the bottom; that's the only way you can appreciate success." We were all impressed by her wisdom and humility. Congratulations and thank you to The Grafton Arms team for having such remarkable employees. It's amazing to see that this pub is not ordinary; it's a place filled with art and beautifully decorated, with a pleasant atmosphere and a top-notch staff. I wholeheartedly recommend this location, and I'm grateful for having had such a special experience.

Great pub tucked away off the busy Tottenham Court Road. Beautiful interior and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Good selection of beers and quite an eclectic food menu. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the Fitzrovia area.

This review is for the rooms, not the pub. (I only got one drink at the pub, since the kitchen was broken the other evening of my stay.) The great: * room layout * quiet * attentive staff (They called when I was running late for check in! They remembered my name!) * super-cute, steampunk-maritime shower hardware * all the amenities The less great: * shower pressure was laughable (at least on the top floor) * you know those runners that hotels insist on putting on beds, even though we all know they’re unsanitary? Ours came with a bunch of hairs from a previous tenant. (I, of course, removed it to a corner. When cleaning staff kindly replaced it on the bed on my second day, many of those hairs dislodged onto the bedsheets. Yuck.) * YMMV: we all know they don’t have a lift. What I *didn’t* know what that rooms 9-11, the top floor, would be on the 4th floor. For my Americans, that’s a “5th floor walk up.” Just be aware that some rooms are on the first floor…. But some are on the fourth.

Lovely hotel, for London with large rooms. Clean and very well furnished. Downstairs restaurant with very good food. Hotel and restaurant staff very helpful. We stayed here for two nights with 8 people and we were all completely satisfied. If I go back to London, I will definitely go back to this beautiful hotel

They have a nice roof terrace which can be covered if the weather is not so good. Asian menu including bao buns, edamame, gyozas etc... I liked the food but I didn't love it. I still recommend though. Great bar staff and quick service.
