After trying a slew of terrible Vietnamese restaurants in London I thought I'd give it one more go during a day out in Kensington. I ordered the pho tai (pho with rare beef) and shared the banh xeo (savoury pancake) with a friend. The broth, whilst not the best I've had, was still rich and flavourful. The banh xeo was crisp and delicious. However the brisket in my friend's pho wasn't the best quality. Wouldn't go out of my way for this place but it's not a bad option if you're in the area.
Honestly. This is my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in London. I mean, I just love these guys! The staff and the food are both awesome.
I always get the same. Prawn summer rolls and pho noodle soup. You can't go wrong.

Great people, great food. We eat here and take away regularly, at least once a week. There's aways a friendly welcome, and we love the food. Never been to Vietnam, can't vouch for the authenticity. But the food is well-cooked, they use fresh ingredients and it's good value. Try it!
Great local find. We live around the corner and eat at Me Me's all the time. The food is excellent and well priced and the staff are the friendliest in London. This is a wonderful neighbourhood restaurant and the fact that it always seems to be busy shows that it's doing something (a lot!) right.

I adore this place. Planning my next trip to Vietnam with Vietnamese colleagues and they also think it is amazing. Have the Bun Cha Ca La Vong (it's recommended in their menu). It will be worth it and leave you planning your next visit before the last mouthful.
Amazing Freshness. Absolutely loved the freshness of the food. It was so good that I was still thinking about the incredible flavours and the fresh coriander in the food hours later. Would absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back!
The only downside was the slightly rude service on the phone and then in person plus they add an almost 12% service charge to the bill which I think is a bit steep for a little neighbourhood eatery like this. But that said, the prices are reasonable.
Good basic Vietnamese. Recommended. I had the fried aubergine, follwed by stir fried noodles, both of which were delicious, and inexpensive. Prompt service and very friendly, and a much better option than the nearby chain restaurants
Me Me is a refreshing antidote to the array of sterile carbon copy highstreet restaurant chains that fill up Fulham Broadway shopping centre, just across the road. It’s also the detox alternative to Bodean’s Grill nearby.
I haven't done one of these round-ups in ages, but that's not to say I haven't been eating well 'off the blog'! For example, in this post, I'm checking out posh sushi, authentic spicy Thai and a neighbourhood Vietnamese restaurant. I don't mind lunching on my own, but I seldom go for anything too fancy. I usually have a fry-up, maybe a burger, the occasional Nando's, or a bowl of noodles. But every now and then, I want to lunch alone in style. Why? To quote the famous French philosopher, L'Oréal â" it's because I'm worth it. Which is why I pitched up at Yashin Sushi , and went for their Hajimeteno Omakase set lunch (£20) . This included posh fish such as sea bass, yellowtail and tuna, as well as salad and some miso soup in a bone china teacup. In all honesty, I can't remember if any of the sushi had been blow-torched but regardless, it was excellent. I was particularly impressed by how expertly the chef had seasoned the sushi. Me Me (which, as the server told us, means "Mother Mother" in Vietnamese) is a nice, Vietnamese restaurant with authentic food. We went as a group of 4 and shared our dishes, so we could taste several different flavours.
We had to wait for a while for food, even though it wasn't crowded, but we didn't mind, as it meant the food was being cooked for us, not warmed up ready-cooked dishes.
The food was good, although the served messed up a bit our order, and brought chicken crispy noodles, instead of tofu crispy noodles. The choice of the dishes is quite big, and they have some vegetarian or tofu options. We had pho soup, fried crispy noodles, morning glory in garlic sauce, deep fried aubergine salad, and caramel beef which came with its own salad plus a bowl of rice. Everyone was quite happy with the tastes.
The bill wasn't that high either, because for so much food divided by 4 we paid around 11 quid each only.
The place is clear with nice decor. Very easy to find, as it's very close to the Fulham Broadway tube station.
So glad memes is back open. Get colour, cut and extensions done here by Kim and couldn’t recommend enough. Travel all the way from Hertfordahire to Fulham as they are the best!
