Absolutely loved this place. Great beer, great atmosphere, and yummy food. The staff is really friendly and St Christopher's place is absolutely bustling. We even tried a round of Pimm's, which was quite refreshing.
A great pub. The atmosphere is great and vibrant. The pub is always busy, but the service is friendly and efficient. The staff is happy to make recommendations, and they're always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience.
Overall, is a great option for anyone looking for drinks. I highly recommend it!
A solid recommendation from a friend! Delicious steak and ale pie. Came out quickly and was piping hot. So tasty! The ales were a nice addition to the meal as well. A great experience for the tourist.
We stopped by this bar for a few drinks and were pleasantly surprised! Mixed drinks and wines were very enjoyable. Good prices, great drinks, and amazing service! Would recommend to anyone stopping by for a few drinks and looking for a cute pub atmosphere. Very cute location and central to popular areas in London. 10/10 recommend!
I doth declare, the Lamb & Flag, a venerable Georgian-era establishment, hath proven to be a haven amidst the bustling streets of London! The tavern was teeming with patrons, and we thought naught that we would find respite within. But, to our delight, we secured an order in timely fashion, and what's more, they accept contactless payment, a most modern convenience in a place steeped in history.
Within the modest confines of the main hall, we found a solitary table for our party. Alas, a chair was scarce, and we pondered our predicament. Yet, fortune smiled upon us, for the neighboring table's occupants, kind souls they were, noticed our plight. With mirth and warmth, they proffered a spare chair, and camaraderie blossomed in that humble corner of the Georgian-era pub.
As for the standing room outside, there were ample spaces, and a few tables awaited those who preferred the open air. The geniality of the Lamb & Flag's patrons, dear compatriots, did add an extra layer of charm to our evening's experience. A resounding huzzah to such conviviality and the modern convenience of contactless payment!
I can see a lot of people have reviewed the wrong place stating the water views. This is the pub in west London in the st Christopher's place area.
Great pub, huge variety of drinks and super friendly staff. Definitely worth stopping by if in the area.
Visited this pub and the atmosphere is brilliant! ordered a fish and chips which was served by a very lovely (and quite handsome) lad. He was very kind and efficient at his job and he made my experience at this pub unforgettable. I had to get his name as his service was just so impeccable. Thank you Haroon!
Great atmosphere in this historic pub with friendly staff and locals. Great pours as well!
One of the best pubs in the area. Always a good vibe and great mix of people. Freindly staff, great selection of beers. Can't go wrong
I came across this cool pub while looking for a fish and chips place that was recommended. The menu looked pretty good here so we sat down and ordered. A pretty good portion for 1 person and it was very tasty. My kids ordered the Mac and Cheese and raved about how it was the best Mac and Cheese they river had. Nice place for a sit down family meal.
Slice of London’s history ! Loved the place , noisy but full of positive reviews energy. The person who manages the security is a true gentleman. Couldn’t get his name but I’ve been there a few times and you’ll always get greeted with a big smile ( even during peak hours )
We only went in for beers and we had a fun time. Good beer great service, the bar tender was super nice. We will be back
Nice pub in the heart of St James Street, close to lots of restaurants and next to Bond Street. The location is excellent and service is fairly quick. Recommended for a quick beer after work on Thu or Fri.
Great experience. Made reservations ahead of time for dining area for a party of 5. Fish stayed crispy the entire meal, never getting soggy.
A traditional London street corner pub offering the usual ales and pub fare. Customer service could do with a revisit unfortunately. Other than that it was a perfectly reasonable visit. It will be good to visit when the mood is better. A new visit and a most delightful one. Staff were excellent, beer was brilliant. A great visit. Never write anywhere off. , A lovely fun pub.
