This was one of the first Byrons, if not the first, and it's really maintained quality and standards. The burgers are really tasty and there are regular specials. It's a great place for takeaway if you phone ahead and collect. My only downside is that fries aren't included, which is a con against the competition and all sides are really expensive. Still, worth a visit if you like a burger.

Firstly the milkshakes here are amazing. Needless to say the burger to go for is the Byron burger. Any burger named after the restaurant has to be good and I was not disappointed. Food came in good time, price was very good for a quality London burger. Fries were perfect. Will definitely come here again.

The food here is fantastic, a number of classic burger options on the menu along with traditional sides like onion rings, fries and coleslaw. The wine list is reasonable and there is a decent selection of beers. Service was great, overall fantastic place for a quick bite with friends.

Went for the Byron burger with chips on the side. Great balanced taste, medium grilled. Chips perfectly fried. Will definetely go back next time I'm in the area. A few craft beers on tap and a few other imported cans of artisan beers. Recommend.

Polite and friendly staff, clean, has nice food and a fair amount of seats / tables for small or large groups... Only reason for 4 stars is that waiting times can be a bit long, but the food is lovely... They also give little perks, for example, if you buy a burger they'll give u a voucher for a free one for your next visit or for a friend. Nice place to have a family meal, child friendly!

One of the best burger joints in the area. Cooked medium as they should be. Good selection of Artisan beers & ginger beer, root beer, cream soda. Service & decor are top-notch too. Hint: Forget counting calories, go for a float to accompany your meal.

Byron is one of the best burger restaurants in town, and this one in particular happens to be my favourite outlet. Going to Byron is almost reminiscent of going into a dinner in New York in the early nineties, or so I'd imagine. Mismatched chairs, patterned floors and rustic lighting. All these make it trendy in that sense but also far from alienating. Even better is that the service is amazing, as is the price. Oh, and I almost forget the burgers.. These really need no introduction, I trust that if you're reading this you've already heard how good they are. For the health-concious among us I would definitely recommend that you try the courgette fries and mushroom burger (Portobello mushroom with roasted red pepper, goat cheese and baby spinach). If you're feeling adventurous then be sure to try the Oreo milkshake.

One of the best places in London - my 9 year old "officially the best burger and milk shake in London". My 12 year old, "don't come here if you are on a diet!" Me: lived the Camden Pils beer and amazing burger. We love this place!

This is my favourite Byron Proper Burgers in town. I consider the Hoxton branch as the STAR of Byrons because they always deliver, whatever I order exactly on time. They are seriously always on schedule and haven't yet kept me waiting once - not even at rush hour. I know this might not be the type of insight that everyone finds useful, but it definitely turns out helpful if you are in the area for a business meeting and want to get the chance to eat something good in exactly 30minutes (!?) - just before you hit the office again. Another thing they never miss out on are beers, always fully stocked and I would seriously recommend you try the "Byron Indian Pale Ale" if you haven't done it yet - delish!?

Say what you want about all the newcomers on the London burger scene in London, but Byron remains a solid option. Of course, some independents will have more individuality and make more "gourmet" burgers, but for consistency and availability I still think you can't fault Byron. This location is my favourite (and also my local, a bit of a bias here ;) - staff is friendly and helpful, which is a plus in Shoreditch, fries always good, and I love the diner-style booths. Also, I like their monthly specials (mostly good, some underhwelming, bu that's the point of having the rotate) and was really happy when they decided to make the Chilli burger a permanent feature on the menu. It's a reliable option when I am in touristland and need a quick dinner - more points - and they do takeaway (altho I wouldn't recommend lukewarm burgers).

The burgers are always standardly delish. The real show stopper is the chocolate milkshake, which is served on the metal mixing cup, the ice cream used is delish and thick. Having said that, the quality of the home delivered food drops considerably, probably due to the improperly packaged food for the journey to the costumer. Ie: potato chips, arrive soggy because the container traps the moisture inside and they get wet

Good location for gourmet burgers and boutique drinks. I am from Perth WA and was very surprised to see a local Perth brewery cider there. The burgers were on the smaller side, but apart from that, service, location and dining was all very nice.

Very quiet Byron burger probably due to the near liquor around the corner. Good service and a cleaner, more spacious atmosphere than other Byrons. Great Byron burger quality
