We came for dinner on our last Friday night in London, and overall, it was good. The online menu had a ribeye listed, but on the actual, current menu, it was a smaller top sirloin. Fine, but not as good. Also ordered a chicken leek pie and a chicken schnitzel. All were good. Not amazing, but good.

A warm friendly greeting when we arrived, easy check in , spacious clean room with fantastic bathroom and powerful shower. Decided to stay for lunch and glad we did as it was a great meal. The breakfast in the morning was a great treat again! 10/10 all day long for me! Will stay again!

Lovely historic pub with nice outdoor covered seating. Inside is classy and comfortable. Warm. Bar staff are friendly and customer service is great. Busy but it’s a big, long space to accommodate. Good beer range, including real ales, and a Camden stout on tap. Menu has solid vegetarian options.

Nice little pub in Greenwich opposite the world heritage site Greenwich meantime plaque. Good range of beers and ales, also serving food. Lovely interior and secret garden.
Phai Dip
Really nice pub that’s got a very nice extension and also outdoor area. Staff is friendly. Recommend this place easily

I stayed here and had an excellent time. I ordered the fish and chips, which I’ve never had. Absolutely delicious! I had a small problem, but it was quickly taken care of by Hannah who was a gem. I will definitely be back.

Great visit and stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. We'll worth a visit.

Had a great stay here. Good food, comfortable, spotless room, which was ideally set out for someone with mobility issues. Well placed for stepping out into lively Greenwich. Above all, fantastic staff who do everything they can to make your stay the best it can be. Will definitely be returning.

I brought my choir of about 30 for an after-event buffet supper which we had in the conservatory and half of the patio. The food was lovely and the team, led by Ian, looked after us well, and even let us sing for half an hour! Given how hot the weekend was, and how busy everyone was with the rugby, it all went very well and we all loved it. Big thanks to all involved including the poor ladies and lads down in the kitchens!

All in all , great pub , great atmosphere and location is easy to get to.
Food was good and the staff was amazing !!! Will definitely be back again.

This place is amazing. The new manager in here has added such a homely feel. The team are so friendly and the food was coming out promptly. I will be back!

Nice food and deserts, great atmosphere, nice interior decor, great for families with kids (on weekdays) and for general gathering with peers.
It gets really busy on weekends therefore pre booking is advisable, however, it’s extremely quiet on weekdays, at least on the Monday we visited.
Can be quite pricey, but for a good meal with the family or special occasion it’s worth it. It’s beautiful with great natural lighting. Sticky toffee desert and chocolate brownie desert both with ice cream are delicious.

Absolutely fantastic pub. Beautiful interior, great staff, delicious food and the beer was perfect too! Highly recommend if you're in the area!

The Mitre has undergone a refurbishment since we were last here, transforming into a much smarter and amicable pub. We had a selection of bar snacks which were delicious prior to going to see a film over the road in the Picture House cinema. Recommended

Come here to try fish and chips! The portion size is wow) staff is friendly and quick. However, the food took some time, but it totally worth it! Sticky table😬.

Nice pub. Regular satisfying food. Has a good style to it and nice seating. A decent courtyard garden with seating area. Would suggest the conservatory in the back gets a clean. Some pretty impressive cobwebs up there!

We've stayed here several times and The Mitre has become our go to base for trips to London.
The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are very clean and comfortable.
We will continue to happily stay here and look forward to our next visit.

Never feel the need to leave bad reviews anywhere, but dinner today forced me too. Been here a lot, but not for about year. Very, very dissapointed with the food from a normally excellent pub.
Girlfriends pork loin roast dinner looked reheated. Barely had any pork on the plate, and what was there was the end of the loin (small, curly offcuts) Likely down to eating around 5, I understand most of the meat would have gone by then. I'd of rather they said they had no more left.
My fish and chips was raw first time round. Friendly staff exchanged. Second time better but fish still not great. "Triple cooked chips" definitely not triple cooked (mcain oven chips?)
Onion rings soggy, onions inside still raw. Left 90% of them.
Cost about 40 quid for the two of us with a drink. Good value when the food is good, but sadly not today.
Staff didn't bother asking why we'd left most of it.
Hopefully better next time. Have you changed your kitchen staff recently?

We stayed at The Mitre last week. The staff very very helpful and the continental breahfast was enough for us. The room could of been a little updated.maybe a mirror on the table where one can sit and blow dry hair as the sockets are too far to nearest mirror. Also a hand held shower head as it was so high up, you end up wetting your hair, even if you dont want too. Just some small adjustments, but all in all a lovely place and the cheapest I found too.

The only drawback I find with this place is me having to take a two hour flight to get here! Anyway, why don’t you give it a try? At worst you’ll end up being served by a nice and friendly staff🤠 Oh, almost forgot, the guests are nice too!
Elle Dimitrova
Terrible service from the grumpy staff and worst roast ever! Dry sunday roast and flat Yorkshire pudding! Tiny portion size too
Tony Scanlan
Tried to order food from the menu to be told my first choice of starter wasn’t available...
I asked what was available and was given a shrug of the shoulders and asked to take a look at the till....
French girl behind the bar... Arrogant, ignorant and a serious attitude problem...
Wont be recommending this place to anyone...

I work just up the from the Mitre. So I know it quite well. 2pm on a Saturday the place was full of very loud and very drunk 20 something crowd. Shrieking and shouting in the bar.
The staff seamed oblivious to the fact they were topping there own glasses up every time they went to the loo.
I think they were asked to leave.
Vastly overpriced, short measures.
Otherwise a very entertaining visit.

The live music was great on Sat night and good choice of ale. I also really liked the atmosphere there. Stayed in room 300 and it was very decent, comfy bed, good size room, small but high standard bathroom. The pub is ideally located in the town and I would stay there again in a heart beat

Spent Saturday night here excellent staff & service- band a bit loud for us group of 4 sixty somethings, not much chance of a conversation but band finished at 11 so caught up on the chat then! Lovely pub
Lisa Peters
Staff could do with retraining in customer care/service. Banister on stairwell came loose, thankfully it wasn’t someone elderly or they would’ve ended up at the bottom of the stairs. Beautiful old building, shame about those running it.
Cate Mctominay
I had Sunday lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were pleasant and the environment comfy, albeit worn in, but that’s all part of the character. I recommend a visit if you’re nearby.

I stayed one night. I needed a hotel close to Canary Wharf and this was really easy to get to via the DLR. I was in room 200 on the front of the hotel . It was a lovely spacious room with a huge comfy bed and a bathroom. Tea and coffe making facilities in the room and with a biscuit. There was also a flat screen TV. The continental breakfast was more than adequate for me.

Stay at the mitre for one nite. Was perfect for what we needed. Close 2 lots of restaurants and pubs.
Room was very big and bathroom was great
Breakfast was good.
Will definitely recommend staying there and will stay again when visiting London

I love this pub. Fantastic atmosphere, great music. The Sunday roast is one of the best in London. Really tasty and filling! Love coming here for a meal or the quiz
Basak Unalan
There is live music on friday and saturday evenings, nice acoustic guitar sessions and it is good. There is a student discount of %20. One of the nicesest pubs in Greenwich.
