One of the best italian wine bar / restaurant I've ever tried in London. They have a fixed menu with different meals, and they always propose daily specialities. For each meal, they propose a combined wine from a wide selection of precious and unconventional wines. Fabio, the owner, and his staff are professional people, very passionated in their job, and really kind and patient with their guests. Absolutely suggested!

Lovely place, very comfortable surroundings and decor - & the staff are excellent. Most of the food is nice but I wouldn't say it's anything special. It's great quality but slightly bland, therefore seems a little expensive for what you get. Nice selection of wines and pleasant atmosphere

This was our first visit to Connubio since we recently moved to Crouch End. We were very warmly greeted, seated, and shown the menus. The waiter - a young guy with glasses - was really friendly and helpful, giving us good recommendations for white wine to start us off (the Frascato). We then ordered the calamari to start; two lamb cutlets, a king prawn pasta, the sea bass as mains; and a side of mixed leaf salad. The calamari was delicious - super fresh and soft and tasty. The pasta and sea bass were great too but we found the lamb cutlets to be disappointing. They were rather bland and without any depth or flavour, including the mashed potato with olive pate. On paper they sounded great but the dish didn't deliver. Our mixed salad also took so long to make an appearance (it still hadn't arrived when we were 3/4 through our mains) that we decided to cancel it We fed these two shortcomings back to the owner who genuinely seemed crestfallen about this, as it is his family run business. During the main meal, we had a wonderful red wine with the meal - again recommended by the young waiter - the Don Vito Prestige Salento. To round things off, we had the tiramisu. Oh. My. God. It was so good - there's only one better that I've ever had. It was very light and we'll balanced between the coffee and the liqueur. Not overly sweet. Overall I'd recommend going to Connubio da Fabio. It has a lovely and classy vibe, friendly staff (although the female waitress tonight really just couldn't care less), and overall really great food. Just a shame about the bland lamb and the salad which had to be cancelled but everything else was great. The owner was kind enough to offer us a gesture of goodwill for our feedback. I will definitely come back again to try more of their food and wine!

My sister-in-law has recommended us to go for dinner on this restaurant. And I must say - Great Italian Place and definitely delicious food! We've ordered plenty of food and unfortunately unable to take photos most them. We're pretty busy chit-chatting and just magnetized by the food ;) Great ambiance, great staff and service. Waiting time of the food - can be a bit improved as we waited for a long time just to get all of our food (6 of us). Staff very attentive and the good thing about their menu - they already come up with which drinks you can have along with the food that you're about to order. I think that's really smart approach :) Price wise - it's above average, but with the overall experience - happy customers and happy tummy. Overall experience - had a great night and definitely will recommend.

Very nice and cozy restaurant. Went late on Saturday evening and it was fairly empty so could enjoy the light jazz flowing through the speakers. Staff are very kind and helpful. Fabio explained the origin of the dishes and wines. I ordered swordfish with the matching wine and for dessert, tiramisu. Everything was nicely cooked and omg so tasty. Highly recommend!

This is such a lovely restaurant! The food and wine are both excellent quality. The service is friendly and professional, and they are always happy to accommodate for dietary requirements. They do great wine pairing suggestions and a very good value takeaway wine service. This is a real local gem - don’t miss it if you’re in Muswell Hill.

If you are passionate and truthful to the Italian food culture, “Connubio da Fabio” is the place to be. The atmosphere is friendly and intimate, the design is entirely wine-based. The staff is kind and professional and the food absolutely outstanding! The menu offers equal space to meals and wines, you can find the traditional pasta as well as more complex recipes combining flavours with great results. Impressive attention to the details, from the plate composition to the combination of wines. Finally, the desserts are all individually made by the owner Fabio and are the perfect way to leave the restaurant with a big smile!

Found this place recently and have already been back a few times. It's very very good. The owner knows his stuff, and introduced me to some really interesting wines. And the food is extremely good. Puddings incredible - turns out he's a sous chef who specialises in pastries. Really nice friendly place, good addition to Muswell Hill Broadway, maybe the best food and wine on offer.

Had a lovely meal here. Fantastic pasta dish to start - can recommend both the carbonara and ragu, as both were genuinely excellent. The meat and fish for main course were equally good. Really nice touch that the food is paired with wine (if you want). £75 for starter and main with two glasses of wine each. It’s a great place and the owner, Fabio, is passionate and friendly but unobtrusive. Really skilled service from him and the other staff who served us yesterday evening.

Fabio is an exceptional host, very welcoming. Easy to understand from the beginning that he loves his job. The food is of the highest quality and the portions are plentiful. The value for money is excellent especially considering the wide selection of wines. A small corner of real Italy. Thanks Fabio

I went with my family and three of us loved it. Very good and friendly service. The owner makes you feel like at home. He also makes desserts to die for. The food transports you to Italy. They also have live jazz the last Sunday of every month, with the chef playing electric guitar. What else can you ask for!! He deserves big success! !

Outstanding food paired with delicious wine and top-notch, welcoming service. The grilled vegetables with goat cheese were flavourful, as was the mushroom torteloni. The restaurant is casual and cozy, with a nice atmosphere and good prices, especially considering the quality. I loved it and will definitely come back!

Food was beautiful. Spanish and Italian options. We shared starters, mains and deserts. All the food was homemade and authentically prepared with quality ingredients. The restaurant is cosy with soft lighting, rustic feel and gentle music. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. We had a really enjoyable evening. We had the pleasure of meeting Fabio, the owner. He's passionate about his restaurant, the food, the atmosphere. The whole thing is his creation and you can't help but feel touched by the effort and pride he clearly pours into his work. We were particularly impressed with Fabio's incredibly knowledgable of his handpicked wine list and that he makes all the deserts himself (he trained as a pastry chef). A very special little restaurant.

We went here on a date night and had a lovely meal. The vibe is really chilled and they were able to accommodate my pregnant partner by putting us on a low table. It had a real 'family run' feel and the staff were attentive and personable. It would be a 5* if there was a bit more to some of the dishes but we will definitely be coming again.

A great visit. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. They enjoy being part of this establishment. The food was fast and delicious, not falling in the trap of over salting dishes while offering a great collection of different mediterranean dishes instead of just going for the usual favorites. I wish I could give 6 stars.

We loved this neighbourhood restaurant. The pasta is truly home made - and you know the difference! Others dishes were made with love and good quality ingredients. Connubio is a rare find among the othe Muswell Hill big chains... seriously a little gem. We will be returning 🍷
