A different and refreshing cuisine compared to its neighbors. It was good, better than expected. Service came quickly, and the food were great. Salted egged foods were đđŒ
Went here for quite a late dinner at 10PM but the place was almost full. They serve a pretty good noodle with the right amount of spicyness. The meat was also very tender. I love it!
This little oriental eatery is quite nice, even if it may look a teeny bit shabby. A friend and I came for dinner on Wednesday night for an easy bite. The flavours are very good, with my particular favourite being the chicken satay skewers. The only problem is the meat can be over cooked. My otherwise delicious satay chicken was a bit dry, and the beef with oyster sauce suffered the same drawback. Otherwise, with friendly service and good price, I recommend the Noodle Oodle to anyone.
We had seafood hor fun, sweet sour chicken and wanton lamian soup. I particularly enjoyed the hor fun. the lamian soup was nice too, warms you up in the cold weather. Waiter was friendly and helpful.
Happiness is finding halal Chinese food place. This one is a gem in terms of taste and portion. Tried Shichuan and beef broth, loved both. Dumplings were also nice. There was a 3-course meal deal too, which was generous. Service was quick and efficient while still friendly, typical Southeast Asia (for some reason this place reminds me more of Singapore/Malaysia than actual China).
This place has great value for money. Their food is tasty and If you choose to stop by for a meal I would recommend their hand-pulled noodles, which they make on location. If you are lucky you may even catch the "noodle-pulling-process" which can be witnessed through the glass window. Very fascinating!
A nice little place to eat halal food in London. Not fancy, but price-wise it's good. I'm a regular for their Roast Duck and Fried La Mian; be it chicken, beef, or seafood, all taste great and their homemade noodle complements the flavour. Quick, efficient services as well.
Cheers,
P
Great little place for a quick, flavourful meal. I had the spicy soup & it was delicious. My friend had Won Ton soup & really enjoyed it. The place was hopping, with folks coming & going. The service is very prompt & the orders came quickly. Really enjoyed our meal.
Nice halal place for roast duck and other Chinese la mian dishes. A bowl of their noodles is sure to satisfy you. If you enjoy spicy like me, the sour spicy la mian with chicken and shrimp is sure to get your nose runny. Even so, I couldn't stop slurping the flavorful soup. The sliced beef la mian with chili oil was nice as well but it wasn't as spicy.
We also ordered a special set menu were we chose to try the chicken and veg dumplings in vinegar and chili oil, roast duck with egg noodles in soup and the mango sago pomelo. It was a great value meal set and I really enjoyed the dumplings while the others devoured the roast duck egg noodle soup. Dessert was nice as well.
All in all, it would be a place I would go to again when I want to slurp a nice bowl of tasty soup with noodles. They do serve other dishes that looks tasty but I have yet to try them.
My friends and I came here for only one reason: their duck. Its hard to find halal duck meals in London so this is a catch! The roast duck with rice was so good and I also like their Honey chicken rice. The flavours were there. Their signature dish would be the fresh noodles or la mian. I tried the spicy la mian with chicken before and it was so good! It taste so healthy as well.
Service bad. I went there all the long way from southampton just to eat halal roast duck. The opening time is at 12 noon, when we went there i asked the chef if we can get in because it was pouring rain outside, he told us still close. there was another guy who fix the door lock and i told him we just want to take a seat and wait cos its raining outside then that guy open the door. we were greeted by the waitress at least she is not rude.
my second visit a week after my first visit, i was waiting before 12 noon outside the restaurant. the clock ticking quater past 12 but the staff don't bother to open the door for customers who have been waiting outside, they saw us but just ignore our existence. until one of the waitress came to work and signal her other waitress friend to open the door for her. too bad the girl who open the door lock the entrance for us. she oncly came back to open the door to us at almost half past 12. So crazy.. i thought customer has to be served promptly. instead they are buzy feeding their self while letting the customer waiting for them to open the restaurant's door.
Wholesome LaMien (freshly made Chinese noodle, apparently even Gordon Ramsay had a go here) restaurant. The chefs at the front window dramatically throw around your noodles before placing them into generous bowls of yummy soups. You choose spicy beef with chili oil, roast duck, soya chicken, etc to go on top. Great comfort food. Duck rice and a drink is only a fiver. Not on menu so ask! Chinese veggies with goji berries or preserved eggs take take you beyond the usual Queensway fare. Shanghai dumplings delish. Always full of Malaysians slurping away. My gf drags us here at least twice a week! Enjoy
The food was pretty good compared to what I had expected it to be. I had a Northern style noodle soup which was delicious and quite refreshing at the same time. I also ordered some other dishes and it was quite filling. All the flavours were there and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.
I have been a regular to this place since the past 3 years. My all-time favorite at this place is the Cantonese Hor Fun and also the Penang Fried Kway Teow. The service is not that great. I definitely visit this restaurant whenever I can, as I live in England now.
I was pleased by my experience here. The place was very clean and well-kept, and the service was nice and efficient. We ordered a lot of things, my favourite of which was the marmite chicken. I also recommend the tofu entree available on the menu. The roast duck and noodles are the popular choices, and tend to get over early. I definitely plan on going back to try these.
I, along with my family, went to this restaurant and we had sweet and sour chicken, duck and white rice. The food was very good and the portions served were also quite enormous, however, the sauce was kind of too much on the chicken that I had but it complimented the rice very well.
The place cannot be termed authentic but then the Asian food being served is delicious.
The staff is attentive and courteous. The prices may be on the high side but worth it.The chilly oil was hot and spicy, as I like it.
The restaurant is clean and the decor is modern yet comfortable.
If you are visiting this place for the first time, I must tell you that you will expect all things positive. From great service, to tasty food, to generous servings and a staff that is fairly comfortable being accommodative at all times. You must try the duck in soup as it is something I absolutely love!
This is one of my favourite restaurants in town and it never fails to satisfy me. The food is amazing, freshly cooked, and the service is prompt, attentive and welcoming . I will recommend this place to anyone who happens to be the area.A must visit.
I always make it a point to eat at this restaurant every time I go to London. The specialties of this place continue to be Thai Sweet Chili chicken which is too good to be true and the sole item on the menu I continue to order every visit. I have also tried other dishes which were delicious. The service is quick, amicable and the ambiance reminds you of your own home.
The chefs at the front window dramatically throw around the noodles here, placing them into generous bowls of yummy soups. The spicy beef with chili oil, roast duck and soya chicken are recommended. The duck rice served along with a drink is very reasonable, but not on the menu, so you'll have to ask for it. The Shanghai dumplings are also delicious. All of it is great comfort food. Surely coming back.
This restaurant generally opens at 12 noon and I went there a bit early. It was raining and I asked the staff to provide us with a seat. Though officially still closed, they did provide me with some shelter form rain. The staff was pleasant and the service was also fairly normal.
This place is amazing! Great taste, reasonable price and halal!
Just when I thought I was all Chinese'd out, I get taken to Noodle Oodle, miles away in the heart of Bayswater. This is okay, since after tonight it has become the place to eat Halal Chinese.
Maybe I was just hungry (which I was) but even the most simple of dishes were damn good. From the chicken wings and Aromatic Duck for starters to the Black Bean Beef and Wasabi Prawns for mains everything was top notch. Even the service was decent.
ÂŁ22 per head including drinks was pricey, but then we did over-order slightly (but had no trouble finishing it all off). Much recommended.
My friend and I enjoyed our evening meal on Tuesday so much, that I ended up going back for lunch the next two days. The food here is INCREDIBLE and amazing value for money! The service is also top notch, especially Patricia, who is an asset to this restaurant and made us feel incredibly welcome and looked after us so well. She is the true meaning of service with a smile. If youâre nearby and looking for a decent meal then donât hesitate to come here. I would highly recommend the house special fried rice and sweet & sour chicken! The spring rolls are also a great starter!
Highly recommend Peking duck. Have been 3x, and ordered it every time. Some starter portions have decreased unfortunately, however, the mains are still more than enough per person.
Aromatic crispy duck and Malaysian chicken curry were fantastic. Shared sesame prawn toast, half a duck, the chicken curry, wonton soup, and special fried rice, it was more than enough food for 3 people.
Visited on my SIL recommendation. Quite stuck between 3 and 4 stars. It was nice but nothing amazing.
We ordered:
Chicken Funko starter - nice but a little on the oily side.
Beef noodle soup - def the best meal. Nice flavours. (No pic taken sorry!)
Duck niodle soup - also good, nice flavours and looked good but I wish it were boneless.
Teh Tarik drink, hot - very nice but basically like any chai.
Pink mojito- great drink with lychee at the bottom. So sweet and nice!
The service was good. Servers were attentive until the food came. Then when we needed them they seemed to all be on break at once eating at a table together.
All in all, I'd say it's worth a visit but wouldn't go out my way to visit again.
the soup was refreshing, with generous portion of duck. worth every penny. the dimsum was nice too. all food is halal.
The ducks are top tier. I ordered fried kuew tiaw with roasted duck for myself and honestly, it was really delicious. Maybe a bit ouly for some people but hey, you donât get a fried noodle with no oil ;) My brother ordered noodle soup with roasted duck and it was actually really nice. The soup was flavourful and i would day itâs best to eat when itâs warm. My mom ordered the god old white well steamed white rice and roasted duck. As you would guess, theyâre great. The food was that good that we ordered an extra kuew tiaw for takeaway.
P/s: the portions are big so take that into consideration when ordering (we were hungry hahaha)
The food was delicious! I got the roast duck and bbq chicken platter with egg fried rice. The duck was nice and tender.
Even after taking out my leftovers and microwaving it to heat it up the next day, the duck was still nice and tender!
This place does one of the best duck noodle soup here, although I did switch out the noodles for hor fun (which you do have to ask to do) Service was friendly but a little slow, which is fine if you are not in a rush. I also tried their cincau drink (teh Tarik variant) and I definitely recommend it as itâs refreshing. Itâs also halal.
Definitely do need to try out their other dishes another time.
Missed food that tasted familiar and patronised Duck and Noodles.
It was precisely what I had and was glad that the taste was pretty similar to what I have back in Singapore. Duck is infused with herbs and spices before roasted. Skin was crispy and meat was tender and juicy!
Visited on 31 Mar. Asked for WiFi password but was told it wasn't working. Otherwise, the dining experience was pretty standard without any incidents. I just wised that the ginger milk tea has the ginger pulps strained. Could do with a stronger ginger taste.
It was my first time going to this restaurant today. I ordered the stewed beef noodles with chilli oil and a vanilla mochi ice cream. The beef noodles were so flavourful and you get a big portion size, definitely worth the price! will visit this restaurant again in the future :)
Unbelievably good food. Not even joking when I say this place is a must. I was blown away with the service and how quick the food was served. We went with 4 children and they loved it. My advise Is to go there for around 6:30pm, its easy to find parking at that time. Enjoy your meal, take your time . Then drive to Chinatown for dessert or another quick bite. Don't go by what I say just try it ! You won't be disappointed.
Had this place on my list for the past 2 years now, and finally came. I regret not coming sooner. First of all, this is the first decently priced halal Chinese food that I have found. The flavours were amazing and the waitress was very kind. Will definitely be bringing a large group of friends here soon. Recommend getting the duck dishes
I wasnât feeling too well and was looking around the neighbourhood for restaurants who had porridge on the menu. I loved the Malaysian style bubur ayam. Reminded me of home. Amazing customer service too.
I absolutely love Dock and Noodle! The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The manager is a great guy who even took the time to teach me how to eat with chopsticks. Despite being always busy, they maintain their high standard of service. I've been a loyal customer for the last four years, and I'm surprised by the few bad reviews. Dock and Noodle offers excellent quality at an affordable price. Highly recommended!
