The best pub that ever was with the best owner who gave me an extra Yorkshire pudding on my first visit 13 years ago !

Consistently brilliant pub, pizzas are best in the area, atmosphere is comfortable chilled out, service and prices are fab - we're very lucky to live nearby!

Beer + pizza + disco = possibly the best pub in London - and therefore the world.

I've been here twice now , living in Yorkshire it's a bit of a ride out ,so me and my friend have made a pact that whenever were at Wembley watching our team the Leeds Rhinos it's part of our trip to come over

Proper local - and locals' - pub in the smart end of Peckham. Perfect pint of Harvey's and really good pizza. Unfussy, but just right

Great boozer. Harveys on hand pull. Cheap pints, no frills, old school, new school, loads of dogs, no idiots.

I absolutely adore this pub. Extremely breathtaking. Profoundly life changing. My life is so much better having found this gem. Can’t go wrong

Been a few times and the gowlett arms is becoming synonymous with pizza night! They are wonderful - crisp, light (well yknow... for a pizza). A decent pub otherwise - better when it's a bit cooler outside (was quite warm indoors in the midst of a heatwave), can get pretty rammed and noisy Friday/weekends.

Nice pub, good atmosphere and with tasty pizzas :) There was four of us with baby and toddler and we had a fun time. Also recently refurbed - there is a little outside back beer garden, and seating outside front, good toilets and room for decks & speakers

Another community owned pub. Seems to be a thing around here. Good service, decent pint of Guinness. A couple of bags of Tayto's and time to move on on the traditional St Patrick's pub crawl.

Tasty Pizza and good beers. Full of young'uns desperate to live the 'Real London' experience in a declawed and slowly day by day watered down area that used to be very vibrant. Guinness fine.

Take a saunter down this residential road and find great Guinness, perfect pizza and a fun-loving crowd. Yes, it's a bit overly alliterative but hey, it's a nice review.

Amazing local pub, lovely staff, delicious pizza and all at a great price. Cannot recommend enough. London would be dead without these places. If I could leave 10 stars, I would.

Came last night and enjoyed it; had an American hot pizza and drinks with friends. Pub was vibey and played really good funky music.

Went here with a friend who knows it well, he says it is his favourite pub, great manager, great staff. Service was good, prices are decent. Atmosphere is always buzzing, but not too loud, so you can hold a conversation

Excellent pizza, super thin crispy base with tippy top tastic toppings. Great range of booze too and staff dead on!! Thanks for a top evening

Nice boozer, with a pool table. Not sure why they have to do a 3 part pour for Guinness though. I don't think the Guinness brew master in Dublin would approve.

Great pub with a good selection of ales and lagers. The pizza is amazing and the chef is very accommodating to various diets etc: we asked to use some dairy free cheese we brought along and was told it was no problem. Most places fob you off with health and safety reasons but here they were very understanding. The pizza was super tasty and cooked to perfection; I'd highly recommend it.

Now re-opened after a period of closure, and a slight furniture refurbishment, the layout, menu, beers, and atmosphere are mostly unchanged -- they clearly know that the old formula worked well, and have wisely decided not to make any major changes. Good beer, good pizza, helpful staff, good music playing (not too loud, which makes a nice change!)
