A lovely local restaurant. We hadn't been for a while but went recently and it's still as enjoyable as always.
The waiter was a really decent guy, attentive, helpful but not pushy. The dishes are tasty and good value.
It is open on Monday evenings, which is great as a few other local restaurants a
I had visited the restaurant after coming from a Wimbledon match, and ordered vegetable samosas, baingan patiala, bhindi, naan and rice. The food was delightful, complimented by a warm and cozy atmosphere.
Nothing fancy but the food is excellent. Both rice and naan are cooked to perfection. All the dishes are fresh and very authentic. Incredibly generously priced. Triphal has become our number one local eatery. Highly recommend!

First time visiting, a very lovely local place. Good, friendly service, reasonable prices. We will be visiting again!
Some interesting and different things like the Poori (which were excellent) on the menu that you dont always see at Indian restaurants. We tried some of the south indian curries (che
All usual Indian recipes with a better taste. Recommended.

I have eaten at Triphal at least half a dozen times, having tried vegetarian, fish, lamb and chicken dishes. Each time they were excellent.
There is a sense of style around the interior with starched tableclothes,
