I had a wonderful dining experience at L’ulivo. The pizza was amazing, with a perfect blend of flavors and a crispy crust that was simply delightful. What made the visit even better was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. I'll definitely be coming back for more of their delicious pizza and the exceptional service

I have given this restaurant a 4 *, it would have merited a 5 if not for the below points. Most of the meat and fish dishes do not come with any other accompaniments ie vegetables, potatoes or pasta. Eg, I wanted to order the sea bream on the fish menu , that costed approximately £12, but that was it... you're basically paying that amount for a fish. That's the minus point. the reason I've given a 4 is because I ordered the spaghetti with sea food marinara, and it was 1 of the best dishes I've eaten in an Italian restaurant. That's predominantly the dish that I pick in most Italian restaurants( as I love sea food) and this one is really good. A good large portion for 1, ingredients were fresh, and served with parmessan cheese. There were lots of mussels, and large prawns too. ( not tiny ones that you tend to get in some restaurants ) Price very reasonable for the portion served. Was soo stuffed that I missed dessert but husband had a glorious Italian cheesecake that just melted in the mouth ( I took a few mouthfulls😉). The house wine was of good quality compared to most house wines.. So, not a place that I normaly would walk into at one of the most touristic places in london, simply because the food becomes very commercialised and touristic in itself. But L'ulivo is definetly an exception. Will be visiting with my daughter in the near future again. ..as she loves spaghetti marinara too.

We had dinner here on our first night in London. The food was delicious, we shared a salad Nicoise, I had pasta primavera, my wife had pasta with chicken and sun dried tomatoes, here pasta dish was so much better. Enjoyed a coffee and a pear tart.

Wandering around last sunday looking for somewhere/thing to eat. Came across above not being a pasta lover . Walked past looked in a few other eateries and went back to L'ulivo wife eats veggie only . She chose something or other I had a 12ozs steak fairly priced along with bottle house red. Unhurried great helpful staff .dish looked good on arrival . Offered sweets we chose unfortunately wife item sold out. 2nd option for her . Followed by coffee . Total for 2 around £80 inc service charge. Yes we will visit again.

My friend ordered Poussin which was a Special of the day but there was hardly any meat on the chicken. However the staff quickly supplied a different dish when she commented on this and were friendly and helpful. My own order was lovely. One of the best Italian restaurants I have visited in the area.

I've only just started writing reviews, so this is 2 years after the fact. I was visiting London with my family and we stumbled upon L'ulivo by chance (when we couldn't find another restaurant we had been looking for). So happy we found it. The food was divine. It was all fresh, tasty and mouth watering. Personally I've been craving the 4 cheese gnocchi all this time. I can't wait to go back!

We visit L'ulivo in Irving street close to Leicester square every time we go to London ( actually more than once during our stay). They never disappointed us. Food is good as well as the service. Prices are moderate and portions are good too. A good choice on the menu. The outdoor seating is fantastic. Pasta is great.

I ended up eating here after getting annoyed at the wait at Steak & Co... I waited for 10 minutes at steak & Co bar to get served as the staff said wait at the bar until she table is free... After bar staff continued to avoid serving me I left and went here. The staff greeted you at the entrance, I checked that they could make some food quickly as I had a 9pm movie session to see, they responded yes and quickly found me a spot to sit outside. I asked for some advice on should I go with the tagliatelle or ravioli and my waitress was happy to provide some advice. Based on her feedback I ended up ordering the Tagliatelle pasta with mushrooms and ham which was quickly prepared by the kitchen and I had sometime yo relax and enjoy my dinner with some time to spare. I noticed most other customers also seemed to be enjoying their food so I would recommend eating here if you are in the mood for some Italian.

While on a trip to London after Xmas, to visit our son, we booked a table for 5, we all had a wonderful very enjoyable meal, the first bottle of wine did'nt taste the best, was replaced by a much nicer, tastier one. We have to say thanks to all the very friendly, helpful staff, nothing was a bother. would drop in again when next visiting. Would recommend this restaurant for it's friendly helpful staff, warm atmosphere & gorgeous food,
