This has been my favourite place for years. The food is delicious and the staff are so friendly they are like family.
Ate in the restaurant. Excellent and very friendly service; good priced meals; excellent choice between Indian and more Nepalese-style dishes. Tried the latter and they were very tasty- big chunks of meat and very tender. Would recommend and is only a minute walk from westcombe park station
If I go in they can usually squeeze a table somewhere. Delivery is always popular so never ever quick - but I'm always told 45-60 mins so It's not a shock. Collecting is much faster. Food is always worth it. Staff attentive, atmosphere friendly, menu tweaked if you ask nicely

Great Nepalese food - the typical lovely momos and Nepali ambience and dinner, plus succulent lamb chops and grateful tasting Gurkha beer - simply loved it!
Quite simply the best curry anywhere in London. Always take friends there & they purposefully come back to go for another Nepalese not to see us again. The service & guys are amazing! Just superb

I used to get it delivered but then it may not have been viable so it was discontinued to my area unfortunately. So one day, I decided to visit for a birthday. It's a bit hidden off the main road so be mindful of that.
Eventually, there was only one other guest there on that cold rainy weekday which I liked. Love the effort put into the deco and atmosphere and, the staff were attentive and helpful.
I love the veggie momos and usually order the paneer dishes as the others aren't to my liking (I've tried the daal, Tandoori seafood and some others), the mixed veg dish isn't too bad and i get the prawn biryani occasionally.
Only criticism I have is that for whatever reason, the soft music stopped halfway, it's only open for a dinner service I think, the bathroom needs attention (a mirror and deco would be nice), the prices are mid-range for me, there wasn't a birthday treat (unless you count the complimentary sweet) and the mains were a bit under-seasoned on this rare occasion.
Seeing all the positive reviews, we decided to try and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and portions were good as well. Service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely come back. Highly recommended 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Very friendly and attentive service and excellent food. We had the lamb samosas, popadoms, veg momo, lamb bhuna and naans. All very fragrant and well spiced and would defo come back again!

Very tasty food and amazing service always make for a great combination. When you add reasonable prices, this transforms a good meal out into the perfect experience.
Had a wonderful time at Royal Nepalese, and was also extremely happy to see they take dietary requirements and food intolerances very seriously.

Have been a customer of this wonderful restaurant for the last 15 years, usually take-away but dine-in every once in a while. Their food is always extremely good to outstanding. My favourites are Veg Momos followed by luminous(!) green Chicken Hariyali, Sag Paneer and Mushroom Rice, exquisite, but wear shades when you eat it! The owners and staff are always very friendly and attentive. I think only once have they ever got my order slightly wrong and I must have ordered getting on for 80 times from there.

Excellent service, generous portions (I have tomorrow's lunch!) and the lime pickle was tangy and sour, rather than the more usual far too chili-hot to eat.
Maybe a touch chili-hot as standard, but nothing unbearable when it's all also so flavourful

I’m a huge fan of Indian food but first time trying Nepalese cuisine. All I can is that it really didn’t disappoint…in fact the lamb Langtang was one of the best curries I’ve ate in a long time (I asked for it to be extra spicy and they hit the sweet spot). Very generous portion sizes too which was surprising given the quality. Flavour was unique but quite similar to northern Indian curry that I’ve had in the past. Absolutely worth trying it out!
Fantastic food, kind, attentive service. Prices are a bit higher than usual, but well worth it. My family and I came here for the third time from Hungary, but we will definitely visit again.
My favourite local Indian. They're delivery service is great - always arrives warm and on time. The drivers never get lost. We order the paneer and daal makani and its very tasty. Onion bhajis are my favourite too.

Every time I've been in here, it's been empty, but don't let that fool you. The food is incredible, the staff are so warm and welcoming and it's probably the best curry house in Blackheath.
Nice little restaurant offering a good selection of Nepalese and Indian dishes. They also have several vegetarian options. The staff is very friendly.
