relaxing atmosphere staff very tentative bit pricey
fabulous pancake night there ... the multicoloured pancakes were absolutely fantastic. xxx
It’s worth the wait even if there’s is a queue. I had the Huevos Al Benny and it was fantastic. The chorizo on it was some of the best I’ve tasted in years. I hope I get to dine here again before leaving London.
Great coffee, had the cabbie breakfast, the portion was just right. The staff were friendly and funny, chatting and joking with us. Good vibe and atmosphere
This spot is seriously awesome. Food is delicious. Service is outstanding. Portions are massive and you definitely roll out of the place feeling like you got your money’s worth. Do expect a bit of a wait on the weekend.
This is a very popular place and known for its 'queues', we wanted to give it a try. Totally lived the ambience and the menu. The portions are very generous which is always a win-win. We had the chorizo hash and the fireball chicken on waffle. Both dishes were amazing in taste but we struggled to finish due to large portion size. I noticed that they do not serve drinks like coke/pepsi bit have local alternatives which is quite cool. All in all a very young, vibrant place, good music and a good option for any meal. Definitely going here again to try the rest of the menu.
The Breakfast is amazing. Me and my family were quite satisfied with not only the variety on the menu but the quality of the food spanning multiple cuisines. I would highly recommend the berries and cream pancakes.
Think three girls, with immense hangovers in need of nourishment and hangover 'cures' for their self-inflicted headaches.
Solution: The Breakfast Club - Battersea.
One of the best Bloody Mary's that I have ever had!! If I may make a suggestion though, we actually asked if they could serve these deliciously salty cures by the jug.. That would be a valued addition to your menu please for the future?
Anyway, onto our food. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros breakfast: fried eggs on a tortilla, refried beans, chorizo, salsa, cheddar, sour cream and guacamole which was huge and very tasty for only 10 pounds! Excellent value for money!
Very good, not just for brunch, but at any time... great food. The cocktails need improving and more variety. Better ask for something else. Generally satisfactory
I was pre warned that I would have to queue up for this place so the 20 minutes queuing time was fine.
I LOVED the vibe, it was so retro and the music was great. Service was really good, they were attentive and fast and bearing in mind the queue had built to about 40 mins waiting time you felt no pressure to eat. I also admired the fact that they dont cram lots of tables in, there was plenty of room.
I ordered the eggs benedict with salmon and avocado. The eggs were perfectly poached, firm with a gooey centre and the portions were a good size. My friend had the All American which she said was great.
I had a lemon and ginger tea which was nice and I just really enjoyed the atmosphere and would definitely go back.
It's amazing, the food quality is very good and the staff are very friendly, staff are quick and fast and very polite, there is so many things to chose from in the menue which is amazing and me and my friend loved it there and will defiantly go again
You will have walked past queues of people trying to get into one of these places and probably wondering, if you haven’t succumbed to curiosity already, what the fuss really is all about. I absolutely detest queueing to get into somewhere, so breakfast is very bright and early one Saturday morning (8am) when the queues don’t exist and we have the place pretty much to ourselves.
We went for Sunday brunch and didn't have to que. the service was quick and very helpful. The food was lovely and soo filling I didn't eat for the rest of the day. It was well worth the money. Will be going again.
Before heading back to Dublin fair city went to the breakfast club for a feast. We both got beautiful flat whites and pancakes and bacon with maple syrup of course. It was delicious!
I got a side of avocado as I was having a serious craving so fresh and perfectly ripe.
The service was very attentive and accommodated our luggage and us asking for several servings of maple syrup.
Definitely would recommend we were lucky as it was a Monday morning but I would wait in a queue for that food again.
Arrived here with luggage and the waiter kindly sat us at the back where we had room to place our bags. She brought us glasses of water straight away, always good to get without asking! Saz and I both ordered pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and flat white coffees. Food arrived quick and was delicious. The bacon was crispy and was quickly demolished. The portions are big with 3/4 pancakes each. I have a sweet tooth and hate dry pancakes so we both ordered extra maple syrup to drown the pancakes in. Was my second time here on a weekend trip and il be back again!
Brunch has to be the best meal of the week so it only seemed fitting that the first London Living guide would be related to this delicious meal! Being based in Battersea there are lots of options when it comes to brunch - in fact I've already told you about one of my favourite brunches ever at Bunga Bunga.
Top tip for The Breakfast Club - visit The Breakfast Club!
We visited on a Sunday morning for brunch and were a little apprehensive that there was quite a large queue, but we were so glad that we waited. There were 3 of us and in the end we only waited for about 15 minutes, which was great considering the size of the queue.
As it was a nice morning we were happy to sit outside, which I think helped us get a table a little faster. We all started with iced coffees which are delicious - though they could have done with one or two more ice cubes as they melted pretty quickly in the heat.
I had the pancakes and bacon with maple syrup which were light and fluffy and all round delicious. Though, I could, perhaps have done with a touch more maple syrup on the side as the further down you ate through the stack the less syrup there was.
We also ordered the huevos al benny which was gorgeous! A really good twist on a classic.
Finally, we had the poached eggs on toast with avocado and mushrooms. The eggs were deliciously runny, the avocado perfectly ripe and the muffin perfectly toasted - a simple dish really well done.
The service was also great - attentive even though they were busy and we didn't feel rushed. Very much worth a visit!
We went here for a birthday lunch (there were ten of us). It was quite busy and we were lining up for about twenty minutes. Food portions and price was good. Very tasty.
An Absolute Favourite of mine x. SUCH great food, BRILLIANT people and COOL fit out. read all: http://thelondonwhistler.com/2014/01/18/sw11-the-breakfast-club/ xx
I love the pancakes and egg benedict here. The hashbrown is actually fried potato. So in love with the healthy smoothie. Will never eat that yohurt again !!!
The portions in this place a fantastic and really quirky dishes. Is always completely packed every time I've gone The service is superfast I love their fresh juice selection
I am a huge fan of this chain of restaurants and I am very glad they opened a branch in this area at last. The interiors here are decorated really nicely and are reminiscent of the 50s. The staff is quite friendly, attentive and efficient. The menu here is extensive and varied. The pancakes were perfectly cooked and the coffee, an absolute delight. The other food items we ordered were also quite delicious, especially the chorizo. Highly recommended.
I have been to a lot of places by this chain around the city and my experience has either been good or it has been average. I decided to try this one out the other day and found the atmosphere to be quite casual. We had some buffalo chicken wings which were absolutely delectable and the portion was quite right for the price it asked for. The other food items impressed us equally. The cocktails are really nice, especially the mojito. I will definitely be returning here.
I have always wanted to visit this restaurant, but did not because the place always has a massive queue outside to get seated. Finally, while walking past it I noticed there was no clue and decided to give it a try, even though it was way past lunchtime. Only a few items were available on the menu and I ordered a Burrito, while my first preference was something else, but was not available at the time. The service was quick and the food was extremely delicious and appetizing. I would definitely want to visit this place again.
This restaurant is known to be a celebrity restaurant and contrary to popular opinion, it is the food that has brought so much attention to this place. The prices are ludicrous but that justifies the food. The food and the desserts are to die for. It is a unique culinary experience.
I recently tried this place for a morning meal and had a wonderful experience here. The food was excellent and was cooked to perfection. Along with this, the quantity was also quite good. The service was pretty good with the staff being quite warm and friendly. Thus, I would love to visit this place again and would recommend others to try it as well.
If you and your friends need a place to crash which possesses a pretty chilled out and happening environment. The decor is pretty decent and the ambiance is very energetic and enthusiastic. The staff is friendly and very well coordinated. I would definitely recommend this place for their amazing environment and delicious food. Cheers!
This is a great place to have a nice laid back brunch consisting of an extensive selection to chose from an all American menu. Food here is appealing and appetizing. This place is a little on an expensive side but the food and service you get is worth your money.
I visited this restaurant expecting a good, hearty breakfast. I ordered a full English breakfast and it was sheer delight! The portion of the dish was massive, but it was highly priced at the same time. The food was delicious and very well executed. The decor is colorful and quirky, and the staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. The place also offers free WiFi. Overall, it was a great experience.
This place has been in the vicinity of a friend's resident. Visited this place during the weekend and were welcomed with a long queue. Have had breakfast here twice and cannot have enough. The menu is varied and has interesting options. The food is as delicious and will surely make you come back again.
This place offers a great meal at a pretty reasonable price. It offers fantastic food and has a lively environment almost all day long starting from 9 in the morning. The ingredients used are unusual and the food makes me come back to this place again and again. Conclusively, this place gives good value for money and offers pretty amazing dining experience.
There appears to be a new place opened up in Soho. It is the first place of this chain and is across the river. My friends and I decided, to catch up after a long time. As such we decided upon this place, after coming across some good reviews. We saw a long queue on arriving there. On being told it would a half an hour wait, we were rather dejected.
This time we headed to satiate our self with appetizing breakfast. Burritos in breakfast has always been my favorite choice. We went there in a group of four people and opted for both vegetables and meat options in burritos with a side of avocado and poached egg. It was on of the perfect Sunday brunch!
Yes, this is one of my usual spots. It is pricey and to my luck, all the food I've had here is really good. Service is awesome, there's NEVER a wait (like the Soho branch), at the most about 10 minutes, the decor is pretty cool, very Shoreditch-y and most of all, a great addition to Battersea rise, just a stone's throw away from gorgeous Northcote Road. The breakfast is always yummy, the burgers are pretty good too! Not overly keen on the wraps though.
Mixed Experience, Great Food, and Friendly Staff
I recently visited Breakfast Club in Battersea on a bank holiday Sunday morning at 11. While the service was a bit slow and inconsistent, the overall experience had its ups and downs.
Upon arrival, we were able to find seating for four without any trouble, as it wasn't too busy. However, I must mention that the food came out separately, and the drinks took a while to arrive.
In terms of pricing, the food was reasonably priced, but the sides seemed a bit expensive. Nonetheless, they were worth the money spent. I do feel compelled to mention that the drinks were on the pricey side, with a shocking £10 for an Aperol… Love London! BUT the cocktail I had was incredible had 2, £10 for a banging cocktail is much more reasonable!
Now let's move on to the highlight of my meal—the Eggs Benedict. It was simply incredible, prepared to perfection. I would also highly recommend trying their hash browns, which were complemented by a delicious chipotle ketchup. It added a delightful touch to the overall taste.
The staff at Breakfast Club were lovely, always wearing a smile and being attentive to our needs. However, there was a minor issue with one of the dishes. It seemed to have been forgotten or misplaced, as it arrived a good 10 minutes after the first three.
Overall, despite the mixed experience, Breakfast Club in Battersea offers delicious food, particularly the Eggs Benedict, and the staff creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. If they can improve their service speed and consistency, it would make for an even more enjoyable dining experience.
I'm coeliac and had so many options to eat here. The manager also takes your order to make sure there is no cross contamination. Highly recommend the gluten free pancakes!
We had a large group of 7 attend on New Year’s Day. We needed to wait for approximately 20-30 mins, which was fine.
Once we were seated our order was taken in an appropriate amount of time allowing the group to make their menu choices.
The menu is varied and delicious with so many great options available!
We had a superb meal & will most certainly be returning.
Service was amazing thank you team 🙌🏻
Went for brunch today and it was such a lovely find! Food was delicious and the service was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and will be returning!
Breakfast - that's what the name says and they are good at it.
Got the Truffle Eggs Benedict. Order it. Surprisingly truffle goes really well with the eggs. Bacon was crispy (extra as per my needs !) and the breakfast burrito was delicious.
If you're a vegan , don't miss it. Their vegan menu is separate and HUGE !
Great American food lovely cafe for breakfast /brunch. Hadn't been before and if in London again would be going back as food was very good! Something for everyone as visited with my family. Was served by a woman called Alice who was very friendly. Nice added bonus my grandparents were over 65 so got the 15% off there order on the bill.
I have been here many times and the food is always nice and fresh and well
Prepared . I would recommend this to anyone . The service is also first class - great place - and good prices - see menu
We went to the brunch near Clapham. We walk in and they give as a table for 2 people but have to wait 40 min. Our brunch was delightful. We choose one of the All American with pancakes. Also I had the Bloody Mary and have to say it was amazing. Also we did a review and we got a tea for free!!
The food was really yummy. I had the Mclovin and it was really tasty (though I would’ve had one less pancake for a better ratio) we were serviced by Catarina G who was the most cheerful and smiley person. She was great!
We had brunch there this morning, we were lucky and managed to get a table straight away. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. This was our first visit and although it is a bit pricey, it was worth it and we will be back!
Food is amazing with delicious taste and great texture.
Unfortunately they seem understaffed as service is a bit slow at times.
However, a special shout out is needed for the manager (asked his name was Jack). I have been a couple of times and seen him deal with one difficult customer extremely professionally and he is always friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Apart from slow service due to being stretched so thinly, best service I've ever had.
Walked on a weekday and managed to get a place easily. The burrito I tried tasted quite good. Love their coffee! Their disco fries is one of the best loaded fries I had.
Lovely place with such yummy fluffy pancakes. We tried the chocolate Orange Pancakes and it was so good, as well as that we had avocado egg sandwich and all American veggie, we enjoyed them.. I would recommend their homestyle potatoes which was cranchy.. The only thing we didn't like was the chicken Waffles.. Coffee was great, and staff are so friendly and helpful
If you’re really hungry and around the area , The Breakfast Club is definitely the place to go. Fine, you’re likely to wait a little if you go at a busy time, but the wait is worth it! They make great vegan options too, and staff are really friendly (considering how busy it can get) Lovely service, tasty food and reasonably priced; 100% recommend.
