M.manze Peckham - London - Photo album

This was excellent pie and mash and really almost as good as the Manze's mother ship in Tower Bridge Road. Crispy top crust, delicious meat filling with a light gravy and right through to the suet pastry base. The mash and liquor were also first class. I know some people are a bit concerned about gr
No words can really convey how good Manze's pie and mash is, Not many Pie shops left in London with such a long rich history, I was brought up on pie & mash, always considered a local institution, let's hope they're trading in another 100 years
The all time, one and only, completely authentic Manze’s Pie & Mash! You won’t get a more original taste, atmosphere, experience & (for some) nostalgia!
Super traditional pie and mash. Nothing fancy but great comfort food. If you eat in you’ll likely have to share a table. Don’t mind this myself.
If you are looking for something that will bring you back to how your grandparents eat and simple hearty London grub, this is the one for you. Staff are friendly and helpful and it is wonderful that they speak proper London accent, made the whole experience very authentic. Food wise, you either love
Delicious. Accepts card. Affordable. Extremely kind staff. As a foreigner, I wanted to try a traditional pie & mash and they took the time to both explain what was in the liquor and show me what the stewed-jellied eels looked like. Enjoyed every aspect of my lunch.
Smaller of the two London shops in Southwark. Plenty of space and quick turnaround of customers. Excellent pies, mash and liqueur. I don't do eels!
I ordered pie, mash, liquor and a tub of jellied eels, all chilled. The pies are nice pastry and with plenty of mince. Very nice with the chilli vinegar added to give more flavour. Jellied eels went down well also. Very nice quality food.
I grew up on arments pie mash but tasted this and it changed my mind been having this one instead for past 3/4 years now, Always tasty, Always consistent and very friendly staff, Good meal before the football also!
Always worth the aggravation trying to find somewhere to park. Because you have to graft to get there, the pies always seem crispier, the liquor greener, and the staff prettier! Definitely worth the effort.
Pie mash n liquor as it should be, been coming here for 60 years! Back after a long break and the staff are lovely, always friendly.
Back to me Old Manor on holiday from Edmonton Canada this October, can't fxxing wait to get me laughing gear round this Nosh:0]
Must be a southern thing because its the most bland pie filling, pastry, mash and gravy I've ever had. Tbh most the food in London is pretty bad compared to up north. Have 4 stars tho as I'm unqualified to judge local cuisines, the locals seem to love it. Bleeuugh.
Classic spot with nice people. Tried the vegan pie and it was quite good
Traditional pie. Does what it says on the tin. The pastry on the pie was great. Mash was quality and the liquor provided a good joiner. Would recommend. I had one pie and mash but two pies would probably be more substantial as a meal. Enjoy.
The lady says: "You know what? I've never had proper London Pie & Mash. We should go one of these days", but then she mysteriously disappears in the mist and I'm left there with the P&M inception in my head. Like a desire. So I pop to my local Manze's and ask for a 2 & 1 with liquor and a cup of ros
Yum yum for your tum tum. Lovely pie and mash within. Not without liquor.
