Gourmet Burger Kitchen needs no introduction, with plenty of branches the across city, GBK manages to win over hearts or rather tummies of us burger lovers!
The burger menu is extensive and has great vegetarian burgers in addition to the usual meats. I love the option of a naked burger which is essentially a burger with no bun, just the burger patty along with a good operation of salad.
The skinny and sweet potato fries are the perfect accompaniments.
If not more they have some good house ales and the milkshakes are delicious! Its great value for money and service is swift.

On vacation here in London. Staying very close to Baker Street so had crossed this GBK branch several times during our many walks. It was always busy and buzzing with people and looked really good, so wanted to try it. Tried it finally yesterday, and it didn't disappoint. It was really good we ordered the lunch combo. One was the classic beef burger with skinny fries and the other was the classic chicken burger with a salad. The patty was really well cooked and succulent. The service is impeccable, we had our order with us is 10 mins, staff is very friendly and welcoming. The London lager was also a nice change to the regular beers we have usually.
Over all great experience, highly recommended place for a sumptuous meal !! Hope they come to India 😉.
The best place for old school burgers in London! Skinny fries at GBK are to die for! The in house pale ale is just awesome! Totally Value for Money! Go for it :D
It’s not everyday that a celebrity Chef cooks you lunch, naturally then I was quite excited to know that would be sampling food cooked by celebrated New Zealand chef Peter Gordon. Peter was in town to cook up a feast from his new and exclusive fusion menu at Gourmet Burger Kitchen.
This is an awesome place for a lazy Saturday afternoon meal that you can take a nap after. You pick a table and then go up to the counter to order. They have a limited menu but pretty much everything is delicious. I recommend the falafel burger (which is quite a mouthful) and the sweet potato fries. You can nibble on some free peanuts while you wait for your food. It's a good idea because the food does take a while to arrive. I'd definitely like to go back here when I visit London next.
GBK was a lunch favourite for me... The branch in question was a short walk away from my B school campus... My regular was the lunch deal which was a crack at 6 quid per person and for those really hungry days there was the mighty burger which was a monster... Also loved their Wellington and the taxi driver burger !! Word of caution of you order a shake don't order a big burger or else you might find getting up from the table and be in a food coma for a while
GBK has great burgers, and with many outlets in London, it is accessible in many areas. Located on Baker Street, this burger joint always seems to be busy. Be prepared for a long wait, especially on weekends!
They have a few selections for vegetarians, however the bacon and cheese burger is awesome. The crispy fries and oreo milkshakes complement the burgers very well. Although the food is incredibly indulgent, it is very good and I would definitely recommend a visit.
GBK is one of the best burger places in London, if you're a vegetarian then their falafel burger is delicious! But, if you like your meat then I would recommend the cheese and bacon burger. After one night here, you'll definitely need to spend an extra few hours in the gym but it'll definitely be worth it!
Their sweet potato and rosemary fries will have you craving more, its a perfect mixture of crunch, salt and savoury all combined in thin slices of deep fried potatoes. To add onto this, i would recommend the onion rings which are another all time favourite of mine! Definitely a place I will be going to again in the near future
One of the best burger joints I've been to in London . Most of their burgers are great , I would specially recommend the falafel burger here . It is surprising how this vegetarian burger is so unique in taste with the yogurt and falafel . I'm a great fan of the skinny fries
too . It's partially self service , just the part to place the order , but the food is delivered to your table quite fast. Overall a good burger joint and definitely worth a try once .
For what it is and what it serves, it is very good, not forgetting that you are on london... So you can try it and and have a great fattening delicious meal:)

SO glad to have come across this heaven on earth typa burger joint during my stay in London. They have quite a few locations around the city but this one near Tower Bridge inside an alley is my favorite one!!
They're always packed! Regardless, never had trouble getting seated right away anyway. Love the vibe full of mid 20s-early 30s, as well as families dining here too! You have to go up to the register to order like any other fast food place, although this one's quite classy I must say to call it a fast food joint.
MUST HAVE their Chick Chick Boom, it's a chicken sandwich with a juicy and huge portion of breaded boneless fried chicken, topped with blue cheese, grilled onion, avocado to name a few in a sesame bun, with a side of their infamous pomegranate homeslaw and sweet potato fries. TO DIE FOR! Yes, I know its a burger joint but surprisingly their chicken sandwich beats their actual burgers in my opinion. It's around $12 forthe sandwich, the total you're gonna spend about $20 for a burger/sandwich here but it's SO SOO worth it.
I seriously can't wait to visit London again just to eat here again.
A classic GBK restaurant! Very slick service, plenty of tables available for customers and a calm atmosphere. Well signed arrows and clear directions for toilet use and overall a tasty burger!
Nice staff and fast service. The both the vegan burgers were surprisingly great. Also the corn on the cob here is tasty
GBK has delicious burgers, at reasonably priced. The one thing I love most here is Oreo strawberry cheesecake shake. Another favourite is truffle fries

This is my second visit to this Burger branch we enjoyed and recommend beef burgur with chesse and bacon along with skinny fries with truffle cheese sauce!
I loved the app feature! The food was average as well as the service but the overall experience was positive.
So full! The food was too good ! Definitely worth a visit if you are around. Great burgers and the mini fries where amazing!

Lovely place, staff were very friendly, they have taken the wrong ordination from me but solved the problem in few minutes, ordered a burger with 3 patties but staff misunderstood me and added me 3 slice of cheese, within 5 mins they brought me the burger I wanted

My first visit to this location and it was a hit. Lots of options for those who can't have gluten. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My teenage son loved the atmosphere, probably his favorite place we ate in London. Overall, I'd highly recommend it if you are in the mood for burgers.

Don’t think I’ve ever rated a burger chain before but... yum! I had a burger salad and it was really amazing, the dressing was delicious and there were 3 different salads served with my burger. Service was also above and beyond, even though you order at the counter the staff came by my table a few times, to offer me tap water, to check that my meal was going well, to bring me ice... really good stuff. Will be coming back. Thanks guys!
Lately there's been an array of new burger restaurants opening in London but having tried a few, GBK remains my favourite. The meat is great quality and tastes good. The choice on the menu is without equal - there are lots of flavour combinations to choose from not only with beef but also different chicken, lamb and veggie burgers, as well as lower calorie options. The chips are good and you can have them skinny or chunky. I didn't give it 5 stars because they don't do desserts and because the chocolate milkshake has bitty bits of chocolate in it that I really don't like. The staff at the Baker St branch were friendly and efficient and the restaurant itself a relaxed hangout.
The burger deal is a great bargain. The food is really good. I recommend the thin fries as they really are special. We had a medium burger with cheddar and it was pretty good :) the free refills on the drinks for the burger sets are really good especially if you have time to spend and just wanna sit and chat.
