Great Sunday roast, Yorkshire pudding was more fried than chewy, but it's bottomless. Veggies are fried in oil, not bad. Meat portions are not insanely large, for better or worse, and did notice they were a bit inconsistent across the plates. Last call is at 5:45pm and they take resy. Service super
Was searching for a nice pub nearby and found this place. Great food, interesting local beers and events organized. Recommend!
Like anywhere I suppose you have to hunt down the backstreet pubs and thank you Google maps. What a place. Busy but not horrendous. Lovely neighbourhood pub with a nice outside garden. Windows with original etchings, green tiles etc. Typical Carringtons and very nice too. Visited midweek and it was
Always provides a great Sunday roast at a very reasonable price. My go too for a local Sunday roast. I find it hard to be beaten by other overpriced places.
We went for a Sunday roast and the meal was very good and cheaper than the usual Camden roasts (14 pounds pp). The interior is nice, just a little cold temperature inside!
This pub has a life drawing class every Tuesday and on Wednesday, you can participate in a quiz where you could win cash prizes. They also serve drinks if you're into that sort of thing ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
Great, traditional English pub experience. Tasty food at a very reasonable price. Attentive and friendly service. Recommended.
This the best pub to organise your summer drinks. We booked the garden and the function room for 80 people and the catering was delish. The staff is sooooooo nice, helpful, always smiling and super super friendly. We'll definitely come back!
One of my favourite pubs - always great service and chat from Lewis, Carl, Ollie & Aryan behind the bar. Whatโ€™s equally as good is the food when you fancy it cooked up by Thomas & Miguel. A must go !
Great pub, good set of ales, well kept. Particularly love the Laine Brewery beers they have on taps. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
Our family hired the upstairs function area for an engagement party. They have a bar and numerous windows to open, allowing the venue to be cool and guests not to overheat. We supplied our own catering.
Can't comment on food but really nice pub with friendly staff even when busy it's got a nice chilled vibe. Dog friendly.
Modern interior to this inviting architecturally attractive pub. Friendly bar staff. Clean bar area. Lovely roast beef lunch, well cooked & good helpings. Selection of real ale in good condition. Would definitely visit again when I am in the area.
Really love the atmosphere. Pub for local with great service and prices. I think they changed the food menu lately. They used to have awesome small plates (think lunch time). Delicious soups of the day in winter, fantastic charcuterie plates in summer.
