Delicious, fabulous, tasty, authentic Thai food & great value. Lovely staff, very friendly and accommodating.
Delicious. Great Pad Thai. The sampler appetizer plate was great.
I had a Thai jungle curry and rice for dinner along with a cider. The service was great. Food was mediocre (you get what you pay for). The restaurant had a nice ambience
Food was very tasty and hits all the right spots with flavour. It had the right balance of sweet, spicy and sour. I was quite impressed and will definitely be back to try more dishes.
I have recently visited here with my best friend over for a lunch meal. We tried £7.5 lunch meal which includes one starter and one main meal. I had coconut soup with chicken as the starter. Initially, the coconut soup sparked inside my mouth with a sharp sour taste but as I drink / eat it calmed a lot and I started liking it. Actually, it is very creamy, hot and delicious. The size of the portion is also satisfying. Then I had the fried noodles with chicken and vegetables as the main. The size of the portion is bit smaller compared to other lunch meals around the town, but the dish satisfied me with the taste, smell and the presentation. The taste is pretty authentic and feels bit spicy, hot even though it is not really hot. The restaurant is not overly massive but can easily accommodate up to 40-70 people (including the downstairs), the staff was super friendly and keen to serve. The interior decoration of the restaurant is very classy. Thanks, Royal Thai for the great service and food. Keep it up.! Cheers! #Thai #London #KingsCross #UK
Good food. Small place with friendly staff. It is a little bit more priced that what is announced here. We were five people ordered 2 starters, 5 curries with 4 rice pots, 2 deserts and 5 non alcoholic drinks and we paid around 20£ per person. But it completely worth visiting if you are looking for a calm place to enjoy nice food with your friends.
Great thai food and good service on our last vist. It's a small place, but cosy and friendly. Their food is not watered down as many places do nowadays. the tom yum talay with fragrant rice to die for and the set starter. it's good place
This place was the absolute best! Literally walked past it once as its so little but the service and the food was great!
Good value lunch meal. Starters, main course, and a soft drink for less than a tenner. Staff are charming, food good. Had lunch here more than 10 times and everything is very consistent. It is small though, and a little cramped, so we can't always find a table.
Good service, great food. No bar license so remember to bring your own, a great little place.
TLDR: Lunch sets are value for money - decent food with reasonable prices.
We ordered 3 lunch sets - for £9 you get a starter and a main. In total, we tried their chicken wing, Tom yum soup, Panang curry, green curry, and pad Thai.
We found the food to be generally decent, but lacking a 'wow factor.' The Tom yum soup was OK, with nice hints of lemongrass and ginger, but tasted a tad dilute.
The green and red curries were decent, and had a pleasant balance of flavour and heat. That said, we also found the curries to be slightly bland. It could have done with a bit more robustness in flavour.
The pad Thai was the best dish of the day. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and was on the whole very flavourful.
As for portions, we found it a little small. But for £9 in a King's Cross location, it's hard to fault.
Service wise, the owners/staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. It made dining there all the more enjoyable.
On the whole, I would give it 3.5 stars but since Google does not allow half stars, I will err on the side of generosity by rating it 4/5
Delicious and authentic Thai food at reasonable prices. Their spice levels will satisfy if you like it hot! Portion sizes are sufficient but could be just slightly larger.

Small and cosy, this place charmed us because of the animation inside.
The dishes are nice and traditional, freshly made and the staff is careful on the customer's needs (which is very satisfying).
Beware of the spyce scale, which can surprise if you're not use to pepper.
Lovely resturant and the food was really good. We had the meat starter and then a tofu Pad Thai and prawn Pad Thai
As a Thai person myself, I would have to say that the food was pretty authentic!! Better than other Thai restaurants that I have tried in London so far! I will definitely come back when in the area again!
It’s not very impressive from outside, but don’t be put off, we really enjoyed this restaurant.
The food was lovely and full of flavour. The staff was friendly and efficient. It is also very well located.
I’d definetly go back.
Lovely family run business. Been here a few times and have never been let down. Very authentic Thai dishes which taste amazing! You know it is good when the spring rolls aren't oily!
Very authentic thai-food with sticky rice. I loved it there and this small place was right next to huge bars and pubs. The waitresses were very friendly, the food great and prices low.
Excellent food, good prices and friendly attentive service. Food came out quickly and was delicious, a great little Thai restaurant.
Amazing foods and staff:)
Green curry and tom yum goong are the best 🥰
I had the best pad Thai, prawns fried and chicken wings deep fried yesterday. Very recommended! Would come again soon!
We come here just about every single visit into the city. It’s a family favourite and one of the best Thai places. We love it so much. We haven’t had a dish we didn’t love. Don’t forget to end with Thai tea ice cream!!
I found the best Thai restaurant in the UK.
Now I became a regular customer there🤩
Husband and I both got the lunch pad thai. Delicious and authentic! Highly recommend. Came with a drink for only 7.5 pounds.
The Royal Thai in King's Cross is a fine restaurant with great ambience. The service was pretty good even though it was busy. There are plenty of options on the menu and as vegetatians we were spoilt by the choice. Definitely a recommendation from me!
Offers a tasty variety of tropical South East Asian dishes. In a casual and easy going atmosphere.
Good authentic Thai food. Portion is a bit small though. Especially the soups
Great food, great service, felt comfortable there as a solo diner.
Food was absolutely amazing, lovely and fresh!!.. Small portions but great service and such good food. The restaurant was a bit small.. Table was rocking a bit, basic layout and toilet could have been monitored to a better standard. But otherwise.. Nice overall
