Chicken Jaypuri - a bit of heat that steals up on you. Superb Peshwari nan, truly tasty and scrumptious dry vegetable curry and well-cooked rice. This is great cooking - I gather that the restaurant opened in 1964 - it's be there for over 50 years, therefore, and with food as good as this, in such pleasant surroundings, it'll be there for longer still. Top notch.

This is by far the best Indian in the area...yeah it's a little expensive but you get what you pay for. I'm not a loyal customer I'll try most places, but this really has always been the tastiest Indian consistently. We usually order take out but dining in is a must also. The food can be a little on the spicy side which I like but you can always have the spice tailored to your liking. Not once have I had a below 4 star experience here in 5 years!

We had dinner with some friends there the other day and it was amazing! Although we moved in the area a year ago, due to covid we haven't really discovered the restaurants of the area. Staff was so helpful and polite, everything was freshly prepared and so yummy! Amazing experience overall! Can't wait to go again!

Great food, can accommodate vegetarians and vegans too, very friendly staff, reasonably priced food. This is a great family run business under new management. Not one of these huge chains that is too corporate or cold. Wonderful atmosphere. Would encourage people to check it out and support a local business

Love the freshness and taste of their curries!! Usually have a jalfrezi but after tasting the dansak, I've found my new favourite. Love the poppadoms and dips. Service always consistent

I was surprised about how good the food was there. For St John's Wood, the prices are really low and still the quality was superb. A little restaurant with a nice atmosphere and really good Indian food. So if you're looking for Indian food in St John's Wood, this is the place to go! :)

Finally.. AUTHENTIC Indian food!! Spicy & flavorful Keema peas, classic Aloo Gobi.. And even a killer King Prawn Phaal (OK that's a Brit creation..) All in all, real Indian /Bangladeshi food in a clean, crisp environment. (oh.. And their delivery service works well too)

One of our favourtie Indian restaurants. The food has excellent flavour, and unlike a lot of Indian's is not too oily. Friendly service, good prices, expecially for the area.

This has been my favourite Indian hideaway for more than 30 years. I'm very happy that they have kept the high standards all through these years. All the best Meghna Grill.
