Tucked away is a side street near Waterloo station is this lovely little pub. We went there for team lunch and absolutely loved it. It is beautiful, with a traditional decor and massive windows that allow you to look outside and enjoy the sun but also avoid the cold in the winter. When it's warmer outside you can also sit outside and have a great time in the sun. The food was amazing, everyone loved their meal and you can pick the set £10 menu and enjoy two courses for a price less than what you'd get one normal main for. I would definitely recommend having your lunch there if you're in the area and it may even become your new local!

I went to the White Hart once. It is quite close to Waterloo tube station.

The venue is a typical pub serving a wide range of beers and spirits as well as British cuisine. When I was there, I ordered the fish finger sandwich which I loved. Plus all the drinks we had as we were four we paid less than £70.

The pub is in typical British style but a downside is that it does not have outside seating. Other than that, it is quite suitable for strong British cuisine's fans!

A lovely pub located near Waterloo Station. Great atmosphere with traditional decor. I visited on a rainy Wednesday evening with family. It was packed, and we haven't booked a table, but lucky we managed to get one as some people were leaving. So definitely recommend booking in advance. We ordered beer at the bar, which was excellent - draught Guinness, Peroni and another nice ale. There is a good selection of beers! Service was friendly and fast. The food was just excellent! We had fish and chips and a cheese burger. Everything was delicious! Definitely recommend the place.

🚇Waterloo 🍺 £6.70 Estrella ❤️ A superb backstreet boozer in an atmospheric location. . Located in the backstreets in Waterloo and set amongst some of London's oldest workers cottages, you’ll find The White Hart. The nearest Tube is Waterloo which is a five minute stroll from here. . This pub dates back from 1848, the current building was built for the Wenlock Brewery in the 1930’s. In 2019 the pub received a sympathetic restoration by owners Mitchells & Butlers restoring the external signage. . The decor here is traditional with a contemporary twist, this creates a welcoming feel. At the heart of this pub is the beautiful island servery which is clad in shaker wood panels, has a solid mahogany counter and is lit by elegant brass pendants. The walls are a combination of pale and dark contrasting colours, plus exposed brickwork with colourful prints. The seating is a mix of low level tables and chairs, a poser table and stools by a ledge at the rear of the bar. At the front of the pub there are a few tables and chairs looking across to St Patrick’s church. . The beer selection was excellent and included five cask ales. My pint of choice was an Estrella, my pint was enjoyable but expensive. There is an elevated traditional pub grub menu available, Fish & Chips costs £16. . I visited on bank holiday Monday back in May. I arrived just after midday and the pub was quiet with a solo punter and a three ball in attendance. The service was good, the staff were upbeat and busy preparing the pub for the days trade. I loved the atmosphere here, it was calm and relaxing and felt like a great place to have a beer. . I love visiting this historic enclave in and around Roupell Street, not only does it have superb pubs like the @whitehartpubse1 but I love the feeling of stepping back in time amongst the 19th century architecture. The White Hart is a lovely boozer in a great location, whats not to like. . ℹ️ Info correct on visiting 08.05.23

Really cool bar. Not the biggest but good food, great range of beers (including some decent craft beers) and lively atmosphere. Sometimes plays sports (I’ve seen the Six Nations in there but not Premier League games) and is dog friendly.

Theeee best fish and chips I have EVER had! Thank you so much! Firstly I never knew this pub was here was an absolute gem of a find! Found a table, the pub was buzzing. Grabbed a glass of Picpoul and ordered some fish and chips! I’m not normally a fan of mushy peas infect I despise them but I noticed they were freshly mushed…and they were delicious! The fish had perfect batter, not fatty at all and the chips were perfect too. All for a very reasonable amount.

One of our favourites - amazing location in one of London’s most historic quarters, welcoming staff and great food (try the scotch egg followed by the chicken, ham and leek pie, with mash of course). Perfect for an afternoon or a pre-theatre drink and meal if you’re heading to the south bank.

Our party of 8 people had a very lovely Sunday Roast. The food was gorgeous and the staff were amazing. Half of our party arrived late due to traffic and we found the staff to be very accommodating of the situation. We have only one complaint and that is the Scotch Eggs ran out before we could order which was about 13:00 so we felt that the availability wasn’t good to begin with.

Cozy, relaxed and tidy little pub. Came here late in the evening on Monday and there was still a good crowd. It was too late for food but they have a deal on 3 plates for £13. They also have a selection of craft beers on rotation. I really liked the self service water station which I don't think I've seen at any other establishment. Well maintained and nicely furnished.

Very attractive one room pub with central bar and small, out front seating area. On the edge of the Roupell Street Conversation Area and close to Waterloo. Stopped here for drinks during the Jubilee Bank Holiday celebrations and stayed for lunch. Great choice of drinks, excellent food and very friendly, efficient staff. Highly recommended.

We run a small networking group of 6 to 8 people. Great staff, convenient location for our group to meet. Lovely pub. Only had drinks so can't comment on the food. However - the pub can get very noisy so we may not use you again.

Had the famous Sunday roast yesterday, and my god did it live up, even surpassing my expectations. Was a very speedy service, with all the staff pleasant enough to assist with any needs I had. When the roast arrived, my mouth started to water. But it did taste just as good as it looked. Every bite was was an explosion of flavours in my mouth. The lamb was ever so tender, accompanied with the classic Yorkshire. It's a plate for the ages executed well enough to hold that name. Glorious.

Visited on a Wednesday night around 9. Still quite busy, there were seats available though. Staff were superb, showing a great knowledge of their craft beers, as well as information about the local area. Unfortunately, we were too late to try any food. Definitely visit again, to try more of the fantastic craft beers on offer. Great to see Vault City on draft. Thanks for your hospitality 👍👍

Nice enough pub with pleasant outside seating area. Beer was good. Liked the cream tiles on the outside - gives the pub a bit of an 'Art Deco' feel🙂

We were on a family holiday in London and looking for a family meal and a couple of pints. This charming pub popped up in the reviews so we booked a table and I can safely say it was the best meal we had on our holiday. 5 of us sat comfortably at a table, in a warm happy atmosphere. The service was fast, the portions were generous and absolutley delicious. We had a few pints of Guiness, Fish and Chips, Nachos and it was all piping hot fresh and tasty. Even my 7 year old said it was the best food we had on our holiday. My eldest sons and I went back there a few days later for another round of home cooked food in a warm friendly place. If you are anywhere in the area and looking for a great place to have beer or a meal, don't look any further, go to the White Hart pub on Cornwall Rd, not far from waterloo station, and have a wonderfull time. Thank you for a great time !

Only had beer. Good pub - but very food focussed. It has a good selection of real ales - at typical (expensive) London prices. The food looks excellent but not eaten there. It is very popular. The bar staff were very welcoming.

We were looking for a nice pub not too far from Waterloo Station / Westminster and we found a real gem. Good selection of drinks, great food (both mains and puddings) and a friendly, welcoming team behind the bar. Couldn’t ask for more… will be back next time we are passing through London.
