My family loved this place. Excellent pasta, pizza and the calzone is great. Very friendly staff and nice selection of Sardinian wines.
Very nice. Lovely food - both pizza and pasta. Lovely bottle of Gavi. Great atmosphere and not at all stuffy. Loved it
Me and my hubby used to come here when we stayed in London (10years ago) for special occasion- the food is just as good as we remembered! Exceptional food and service!
Great pizzas and great customer service!
Sardinian food at its BEST......love ittttt....
Excellent Sardinian cuisine!
Sensazionale cucina e servizio...
The service is great, manager is a real laugh, worth it for the humor alone!
Starters are good, order a selection of carpaccios. Pizzas are some of Londons best. Pastas are also great, try the orichiette with sun dried tomatoes and salted ricotta and chilli (8/10) and the fresh black and white tagliolini with clams, bottarga & chilli (7.5/10).
PAILLARDE DI POLLO ALLE ERBE is a no go, leave it out mate.
Gluten free options available.
Great for a fun night with friends and some nice wine.
Excelent pizzas and Italian food, we had the pizza Carrettiera with fresh buffalo mozzarella, and the tomato sauce was fresh and properly made! Sometimes it can get a bit noisy, but overall an excellent place to eat proper Italian food in London, with good food, good service and a wide array of options for desert as well. I also recommend the blueberry frozen yoghurt.
We had calamari salad for the starter. It only takes few minutes before it arrived our starter. It looks very appealing to the eyes and when we started eating it tastes good especially the sauce on the salad but the calamari is a little bit let down coz when we eat the calamari you can taste the old oil taste and it suppose to melt in your mouth but apart from that really good then we had linguine crab and my partner is in heaven when she eat it. Perfectly cook the pasta and the crab meat is just too much ( I'm not complaining though) and I had pizza al tartufo such a lovely ricotta cheese and slice of truffle and it taste so good. I can highly recommend that pizza. After our main course we had tiramisu and panna cotta for dessert. It was alright maybe because it's not set yet the tiramisu and the panna cotta not as good as Valentinas made but over all our experience in Oliveto is really good. I will definitely coming back there to try more of their dishes.
I had a really great experience here. The food was excellent. I had the lobster spaghetti and margherita pizza. For dessert I had the chocolate and almond tart and the deep fried cheese with vanilla ice cream. All exceeded my expectations 👍🏼
I had a bit of the crab pasta too, not my favorite but still really good.
Posh pizza. Given its location, you wouldn't expect it to be cheap. Go for the pizza which is authentic (and large) and they also do a very good crab and chilli linguine. It's very noisy and full of locals, which may or may not be a good thing depending on whether or not you are one.
It's very noisy and the tables are packed together but the food is reliable. The tiramisu is decent.
Great pizza takeaway option for those who live in chelsea/belgravia/victoria.
Quality ingredients, thin crust, good selection, just eat it warm!
In this high-end neighborhood with pretty elegant restaurants, Oliveto remains one of the more casual places to have lunch. However, although the atmosphere of the restaurant is casual the food served here is very high-end and very delicious.
Since this is a Sicilian restaurant, I wanted to have regional dishes, so I tried the mixed seafood carpaccio which was definitely one of the best I've ever had. Afterwards we had a plate of spaghetti alla botarga and tagliatelle al prociutto which were both delicious.
The service is great at Oliveto and it's rendered even better by the fact that the owner of the restaurant likes to come around the tables and chat with his customers. He remembers his regular customers and likes to really get to know them, and I really appreciate this personal touch which you really don't get in most other places.
Great pizzas. Some of the friendliest staff in London. Bit noisy but would thoroughly recommend for good pizza and wine.
Very nice Italian restaurant in Central London. Love the small house yet vibrant atmosphere. They always serve great pasta and i love their seafood in particular. This time i tried the full lobster linguine. It's something not to be missed.
Bottarga pasta is amazing! I am going there every time I am in London. So good! Even the gluten free version 👏🏻. Bravo!
Substantial menu with some delicious specials. Pizza very good. Friendly service and no issues with waiting for it to arrive. Thoroughly enjoyable lunch.
Friendly and efficient service. I love a restaurant which suggest today's special. Some pastas which I never see in other Italian restaurant are on offer too. Wines are a little expensive side, but the one we had (chilled Valpolicella) was reasonable and good.
A strong four stars. Dropped a star due to the underwhelming service. Food was delicious though and I particularly recommend the crab linguine, chilled tomato soup and a simple spaghetti with pomodoro salsa.
E Paradiso. This is the restaurant I visit very often. First of all the service is fantastic with the nicest Italiano in London and one of the best Italian cuisines you can find in London. My favorites include the spaghetti alla bottarga and crab linguine. Of course thier house wine is of a great quality. This is a place I can strongly recommend to all range of people.
Delicious little Italian restaurant offering great dishes from the country. A must visit!
I would give them 10 stars if I could. My group and I arrived in London late on Sunday evening to find mostly everything closed. We walked in to Oliveto and asked if they could seat 7…and they did! They were so kind and gave us wonderful service even though they were probably super irritated to have a big group come in just before closing. The food was FANTASTIC, as was the atmosphere and every staff member. We loved it - probably our favorite meal of the trip.
Lovely ambience, great food and attentive service. Make sure you book, it’s very popular.
Peter and I are very sad to hear you had a fire and the beautiful restaurant is damaged. Thank God nobody was hurt. Please keep us posted on what happens next to the staff and pizza. Warmest regards Sally
Oliveto is probably one of the best restaurants in Central London. I can say this because every part of the experience has been perfectionised. The waiter was extremely helpful and was able to give advice and good information regarding the food available for customers. The toilets were incredibly clean, and the service was speedy. The people followed all instructions set on the reservation and in-person, and I would totally recommend this place.
This is my favourite restaurant in London. It's probably my favourite restaurant in the world. All of the pizzas are outstanding but the pizza ai funghi operates on an unassailable level. Every ingredient in every dish is somehow tastier than that (apparently) same ingredient anywhere else. The style of cooking, as at all Mauro's restaurants, is deceptively simple but masterful. The staff are lovely. After coming here for over a decade I'm delighted to see they even have outdoor seating now!
This is the best Pizza outside of Italy best in the UK. All Italian staff who know their onions as well as being friendly and attentive. If you don't try the Truffle Pizza you're letting yourself down. Fresh black truffles from central Italy with the most beautiful fresh taste. The cheese board is also a recommendations and even includes black truffles shavings in one of the cheeses. Fine fresh ingredients, good staff and even better wine.
I know this place is so great , We had dinner some time last year ,I tried my luck this time without reservation, unfortunately , I had no luck , I will try again .
