I used to live a stone's throw from The Plough, my local for 20 years, but that was 40 years ago! Have been back every now and again and seen changes, some of which I liked some of which I didn't!!
We loved our recent visit pub retains most of it's original charm and the food and service excellent.
We had a lovely evening dinning Alfresco. Delicious food and excellent service - difficult to get both - a great experience when you do π
Wonderful staff made our evening by moving us outside when a table became available - thank you for going the extra mile to make our evening special. ππ»

Visited there on sunday 2nd april with the family after being at Richmond park, the pub is lovely the food was lovely and so was the staff, very dog friendly aswell!
What we liked was the service. The food was good quality pub grub with quantities to our liking. Plates were not piled to overflowing. Salads were fresh. There was a good variety of healthy veg.
Trio of meats roast dinner was amazing and the 3 ice cream sorbets were great, everything was presented lovely and the staff were really friendly. Was our 1st time here and definitely won't be the last
Kjempe fint sted, god mat hyggelig stemning i lokalene.
Anbefaler pΓ₯ det sterkeste.
Top marks. Food delicious, good wine list, great ambience. Squeezed us in, despite our booking being for the following day! Sunday roasts are divine. And dogs welcome.
Great #dining, #service, #ambience -well worth a visit!
Best Xmas meal ever had at Christmas in s resturant
Delicious mouthwatering roast pork with amazing crackling
Excellent service as always - great local
Had a great experience at The Plough on Sunday. We had a lovely table for 12 in the garden. Service and food were excellent, great menu choices for the kids too. They looked after us a bit too well and we ended up staying until 10pm! Definitely recommend and will visit again soon
Just off the beaten track this was a great little find recently. After reading some reviews was a little unsure but should always go with the majority of views. We had a wonderful meal with great service. Hats off to the chef's for executing what seemed like a busy sunday lunch, we enjoyed our Chicken to share, perfect portions - so much so we couldn't quite finish. Surrounded by fresh veg and plenty of potatoes & clearly handmade Yorkies. Our server, I forgot to get a name was attentive, suggested us a great wine to compliment our meal. We will definately be back again in the very near future. Thank-you all.
It was a sunny day so we ate outside. An interesting and diverse menu, l chose a burger and chips, my companion chose lambs liver and mash. His was probably better VFM. He thinks not! I ordered Sticky Rhubarb Meringue for dessert : I believe there was a trace of cooked rhubarb, surrounded by raw and finely diced and coloured apple. The meringue was uncooked but browned and the pastry hard to break. A disappointment.
We had lunch at the pub with a relative we had'n seen for a long time. The food was excellent, great choice on the menu. And the service was also good. They did not rush us, we had a lot to catch up with our guest and in the end we left at 3.30 p.m.
Love your new menu! The fish pie was so delicious. Service is always incredible. Lovely to have such a great local pub! Thank you!
Great food and an excellent pint, would easily say this is the best pub in East Sheen especially if sunny as the outside area is perfect
Lovely Fullers Pub, the only one int the area. Beer in perfect condition. Very welcoming service, Largish outdoor seating, perfect for a sunnx afternoon. Inside is a bit smaller and usually booked in the evenings, so I recommnd booking a table ahead.
Went to The Plough with a friend. Beautiful weather, sitting in the beautiful garden and had delicious food and wine. Service was excellent too. Definitely will be back again
Went for Grilled miso marinated salmon & shiitake salad(was a cold dish just so you know) and Roast Jerusalem artichoke risotto and were good options. The environment is really nice, it is better to make a reservation in advance.
A nice out of the way pub in Richmond. Seated indoors a little out of sight meant multple trips out front to interact with wait staff. Good dinner menu.
Fab Sunday lunch but be warned they run out of food so best to order in advance.
Nice pub with rather country cottage exterior. Your gran will love it, plus they sell soup, so easy on the gnashers.
Excellent fish and chips. Clean pub with excellent service.
Fabulous high quality gastropub with awesome service. Extremely dog friendly, our weird rescue was welcome. Nevila, Lara and Charlie looked after, and entertained us fabulously. Shout out to the chef too, our beef was extraordinary and the Mrs's fish and chips looked divine. Not overpriced for the great food.
