Always Fantastic food and very friendly staff
This is a very basic restaurant and quite noisy with the wood floors and tables etc. BBUUUTTTT it has the best Thai food I've ever tasted. Even when I went to Thailand. I always seem to end up eating the Gang Panang (just can't resist). Can't wait fir next visit.
Excellent and fast service and great food...
Best Thai food I've had thought I was back in Thailand loved it
Great place, would recommend to anyone and will defiantly be going again soon :)
Went in on a whim but, wow! I'm not an expert on Thai food but to me it was simply amazing and a nice, relaxed Atmosphere. Will definitely be going back.
Decent food with a reasonable price tag. We visited early on a Friday night and sat right down with no wait. The Thai here was decent and the kitchen were so quick- we had our meals within 5 minutes.
A restaurant that is full of surprises . The orders arrive super quick .. I tried the vegetarian pad Thai and the Pad Khing with coconut rice & the food was flavourful and amazing .
I couldn't stop staring at other's orders. The chicken from the geeen Thai curry wasn't great but the curry itself was very nice. Also had he mixed seafood Curry(one amongst the chefs specialities!)... the curry was spicy, and alright but did not have the WOW factor .
I ordered a Thai green curry with coconut rice. Food was served within 5 minutes upon ordering, which I was amazed by. The food was amazing. Unbelievable taste and the coconut rice was awesome. Atmosphere was a little dull, service was good however. I'll definitely be returning here to try other things. The menu had such variety and so many things I wanted to try.

I went to Suchards for dinner with my colleagues. I am Thai and I don't normally eat out at Thai restaurant, however, I've been visiting this place for years due to the authenticity of their food. Their food is always fresh and well-presented. Highly recommended Fried Mussels, Thai Spicy Salad which go well with the Weeping Tiger (grilled beef) and Thai Green curry!!!! Also it was very good value for money as main dish comes with rice.
Suchard is a chilled out Thai cuisine. Went with work colleagues for lunch. Since it's not halal-certified restaurant, I opted for veg menu. I went for "Tao Sie" which consists of sticky rice with stir fried mushrooms, green peppercorns and black bean sauce with coconut drink. Was a relaxed environment and enjoyed the low-key decor and surroundings. Can't go wrong with Thai food. Staff were helpful with constant smiles.
Cracking thai green curry, great balance between chilli heat, salty notes and sour lime. Creamy coconut rice on the side was a complete winner. Quick service too. Result!
Cheap Price, High Quality. Staying in London Bridge area and was looking for some decent priced, decent quality thai. Decided upon Suchard. Well priced, nice atmosphere and very fast and efficient and the food was very hot and very fresh. Starter & Main came to £11.
Good value. Value for money one of the better Thai restaurants. I am staying at the Hilton across the street and location is very convenient without giving on quality.
A keeper. Stayed at the Hilton across the street for a week and ended up eating there twice. Great spot for a semi quick sit down dinner. Fresh, hot, spicy, whats not to like.
...hidden behind a not very inviting facade is - in my opinion - one of the most authentic Thai places in London.
Menu is very extensive, prob too much choice to be honest. Staff are really friendly and accommodating. Not the place for a romantic dinner but a prefect work lunch destination. Try the sea bass stirfry it's amazing!!
good thai restaurant. the service is really kind, the restaurants looks clean and tidy, the food is not expensive, the quality and amount of food is good and they bring it to the table pretty fast. they served us free water
Great location on tooley street near Jamaica road, lots of walk ins through the time we were there. Service is friendly, the place is warm, cosy and smells great which is a huge positive for a Thai restaurant. Was quite alarmed at the speed at which they brought out the food, seems like they have a few vats in the kitchen and most orders just fall into a few types - my sriracha fried rice was ok, I found the addition of cauliflower quite strange, and the Mae pranom we ordered was too sweet. Same for the som tum salad. Overall ok, decent for a quick bite, will need to try their curries for a full opinion!
Suchard is a good small authentic Thai restaurant. The ambiance is not that great but the food is really good especially - Gang Curry, tempura and corn cakes. The place is busy during the rush hour and you might have to wait to find the table. As the name suggests it is quite close to the Chard building. Recommended for a quick good quality inexpensive Thai dinner.
This restuarant is almost always full. It serves good authentic thai food and is run by a
single thai family, as our many local restaurants in thailand.
Their portions are decent and so are the prices. The ambiance isnt that great though, it is made more like a "have a quick meal down at the thai place during your lunch hours from work"
The only bad thing about the restaurant is the service, it is understaffed, and all the family members look really hurried and harrased by the amount of people coming to the place everyday. Overall id give it a 3.5 but if i rate only the food it's easily a 4.25
As crazy as it might seem, I felt I was time traveling and found myself BACK in Thailand 🇹🇭 😂
INCREDIBLE!
Myself and partner were saying how this time last year we where traveling the whole of Thailand, so we decided to come in here for a birthday treat and it was the best decision we made. Food was delicious, authentic and tasted amazing. We’ve been to lots of Thai restaurants and nothing has came close to proper food we’ve tried abroad until we came here! For a small restaurant it’s crazy busy. Lots of people coming in and out, the service was quick, fast, and though the waitresses didn’t have the best of English I felt they tried their best. Got a 3 course here and would highly recommend. Everything was amazing 👌🏼 next time I’m in London I would not hesitate coming back here! 🌟 🌟 🌟
Really good Thai restaurant. We just randomly picked this restaurant and was surprised it was very delicious.
Discovered Suchard through a recommendation despite walking past many times. Food is great, the massaman curry was so delicious, could have eaten that all day
*Came here a second time and ordered chicken in peanut sauce and would still give this place 5*. Delicious!
Photos are half eaten lol - we loved the place so much we wanted to leave a review mid meal. Lovely atmosphere, good food, fast service.
Best Thai iced milk tea ! Hands down, never had such a tasty one ever !!!
Had a quick lunch here, friendly staff and quick service !
Vegetarian fried rice with tofu came super quick and very good !
Easily the best Thai meal I can remember.
The restaurant is inexpensive and unassuming and is a long way from looking like a high-class "authetic" Thai restaurant (no red & gold temple fixtures and fittings here). In fact it looks almost like a little cafe from the outside.
Do not let that put you off.
I was advised to go here when asking friends from the area about the best restaurants near London Bridge station (friends who are happy to spend on expensive places if they deserve it) and the majority of them recommended this place in seconds. It is cheap (or at least inexpensive), provides generous portions and the taste of the food is exceptional.
I went in a group of three for a quick dinner (in and out of the door in under an hour) and we were all delighted. On a friend's recommendation, we shared the crispy duck, which is amongst the best I've ever had (and for less than 6 quid per person). For mains I went for a tamarind chicken, because I wanted to see what it was like. It is possibly the best chicken dish I can remember eating and, at nearly half a chicken, was huge too.
I meant to take more photos but kept forgetting and diving in to eat (hence the only picture being a partially-eaten crispy duck platter). You'll just have to take my word for it, but I really recommend that you do.
Best Thai restaurant I've been in London so far. The service was as excellent as the green curry was authentic. Strongly recommended.
Food was good, people very nice, unfortunately not really spicy but great to stay & eat.

Had not been here in a while and went today, had a lovely lunch, staff was very polite and food was amazing, look forward to going back again soon
Had dinner here on a Thursday, we ordered the duck spring roll, Thai green curry and Weeping tiger for two of us. The wait was quite long (~40min) but the food was well worth it. Weeping tiger was considerably the best unassuming steak (can do without the rice as it's not a "saucy" dish), Thai green curry was really spicy too which gives a good kick. Love them!
At lunch time you'll be lucky to get in here before 1pm. The food is delicious, the sauce is actually thick and finger licking good. When you order prawns you actually get some!
The service is friendly but they give you space and the food is well priced for the quality.
The Decor could do with and update and the table are packed in. But once your eating you just don't care.
Eat here for excellent Thai food that won't leave you hungry
