The Leyton Engineer - London - Photo album

Very unique pub with 5 or maybe 6 separate rooms. Interior is old-fashioned very cosy, you can find comfortable chairs or even a sofa to sit on and the atmosphere is relaxing. Definitely gonna visit again 😊
By far the best pub experience in Leyton!!! Great interior and very spacious with several rooms to choose from. Good selection of beers and nice wines. The food is also yummy with a small selection of tasty dishes around 10 quid per dish. Open till late on aFridays and Saturdays and good mix of reg
Nice, chilled out local pub. Relaxed. Plenty of space for walk ins. Great service. Good roast dinner...Plenty of gravy and decent Yorkshire pudding. Only thing I'd say...could have had more meringue in the Eton mess. Wasn't much in there. Was mainly cream. Tasty still but just needed less cream/more
Yes,another temple that cannot be mistaken with any other pub.Leyton's former townhall has turned into a public house, and yes,the deco is appropriate, old school, cared for,a few rooms to choose from in the same coherent style.A simple trip to the restrooms is an underground journey of it's own, same
Lovely staff set Ina beautiful grandios older building filled with mid century furniture. We both had the burger, due to googlee Lawrence's rave reviews of it being the best burger he had ever had. It was underwhelming and they could have done with better burger meat (see photos attached)- the bun w
Nice and cozy They have blue moon beer Rarely can find in UK Definitely will come back 🍺
Nice comfy sofa's, great decor, good food & service. Very convenient from Leyton central line tube. Will defo be a regular
Spacious pub on the high road with inexpensive pints. Can get a bit loud but staff were friendly, especially if you have a table booked. Reserved a table last minute for my birthday and they made sure we had a quieter room to ourselves.
Wonderful Oasis - great food and atmosphere. Staff are great - totally recommended.
Beer always nice here. Plenty of real ale choice which is stored and served well. Very busy on football days, which can be a pain when getting a drink, but there are plenty of comfortable chairs and settees to sit. Would thoroughly recommend having a real ale here, best ale in Leyton.
Period grand old building. Pub is located within the old town hall. Quirky decor and nice high ceilings throughout with loads of space. Good range of drink and well kept beers. Service somewhat slow
It's my local and I love it. The building is great and old, It's really spacious and have fancy vintage sofas and armchairs. Also serves dinner until 10pm and have an outside space with benches for smokers. Beers are average London prices and there's a good selection. It hosts many live performances
Great Pub. Limited opening but once it start it's fabulous. Lovely staff, very friendly & efficient. We booked a room for a birthday party gathering ordering food & drinks as we went along. Love the shabby chic but actually authentic surroundings. Just discovered my Father-in-law went here when it
My family hired one of the rooms out for my late dad's celebration wake. We used the wide-screen TV to play a fantastic amount of photos celebrating dad and his family and life we had downloaded. Food was good, atmosphere relaxed. Close by to dad's final resting place and right round the corner to h
Staff are lovely, helpful and humorous. Food is delicious but quite pricey. Lots of good ale and cider to choose from, and the music is great! Would recommend. (Loooong walk to the toilets!! 😄 but lots of interesting things to look at on the way to the loos!)
A fantastic traditional style pub in a great location on Leyton high road. Simple decor and simple menus, plus great craft beer - get down there as soon as you can!
