The location, ambiance, service and friendlyness of staff was great. We had pre theatre menu the choice of food and portion was very good so was the taste. I was very surprised with the quality of food and price will definitely go again. I would thoroughly recommend Mint Leaf Restaurant.
I have been to a few Indian restaurants and the mint leaf is at the top . It was my partners birthday and from the time that we walked in to the restaurant and until we finished and left the staff were so attentive. Me and my partner were not expecting a lot of food and I said jokingly that I may have to have a bag of chips on the way home. But when the food came there was more than enough plus the menu was nice with enough to select from not like others where there is so much . The food was next to none the tastes were incredible and I could not falt it from starters to dessert and I will recommend this restaurant to my friends that come to London. I actually said to the manager if they opened a restaurant in Bournemouth they would make a killing .
We had the most amazing time here. A fun, informative and delicious cocktail class and a fabulous meal that followed. The food was exceptional, the place is beautiful, the service and staff are excellent. We would highly recommend Mint Leaf.
I enjoyed everything put in front of me, and they kept bringing course after course. It was a great choice for Shamims birthday and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. In fact my mouth is watering thinking about it 2 weeks later!
Well worth recommending for pre-theatre or post-theatre dinner! Beautiful bar/dining settings, the food was gorgeous (great cocktails too) and the service was fantastic.
Amazing food, such fantastic tastes....great combinations and friendly staff
Great food, great cocktails, great atmosphere, great table service (Nazir and Tom). Highly recommend this restaurant and bar. Xx
Excellent restaurant. Had lunch there. Duck done superbly, each spice could be appreciated as well as the effect of the blending. Presention was good and the service was prompt, friendly and unobtrusive. Highly recommended! Vegetarian options also good.
My office colleagues always take me here for a dinner as it's an Indian place and just opposite office actually.
Problem is being from India, you end up considering the food here as not actually Indian but somewhat British Indian or Bangladeshi food.
This place do however have some Indian flavours bang right -- the chicken jalfrezi, the daal (I tend to prefer yellow but all my local friends prev dal makhani), the tandoori roti and even the chaat they have is not quite bad.
It's location is also good for tourists actually.
Go for fine dinning in Mint Leaf and you'll be amazed to see their food presentation, taste of food and their service will make u feel special.
They present Indian food in a fusion style. They have variety of good cocktail to go with mouth watering food. Do not miss their kabab platter
Indian Foodie In London
+4.5
by far the best food i have had in london! if someone else is footing your bill, then definitely this is the place to go. Went for my birthday and even after using my tastecard discount food it a bit expensive! But definitely worth it.
Good Indian place to have nice food. We had ordered tikki, ajwaini paneer, okra and onion, raita, dal and some breads. Turned out pretty well with the okra dish deserving a special mention. Best thing about this place is its proximity to the workplace nearby.
Good indian food. Hyderabadi lamb chops quite spicy and succulent, it's a must try. Friendly waiters and good service. Though they have limited beer brands but they keep kingfisher so it's quite close to feel of India.
Mint Leaf Lounge. What I don't love about this restaurant isn't even worth mentioning. We eat here a lot and the food is absolutely heavenly. It's so far removed from your bog-standard MSG and grease-laden curryhouse nosh that its virtually unrecognisable by comparison. But the food is innovative, using local and seasonal ingredients as well as sustainable fish, producing clean, fresh flavours with the traditional slap of slice that you need to remind you that you are, after all, eating Indian food. Starters are vibrant in both flavour and colour. Bright green chicken tikka with a deliciously creamy coated of herbs and paneer, mackerel and crab cakes spiced to perfection. Main courses come in lots of different guises, both modern with fish fillets on spiced potatoes with spinach and the more classic curries using rich coconut sauces and of course your more classic tomato and spice rich sauces. A great spot for lunch, whether business or not, with an elegant interior and a beautiful bar adjacent to a sleek lounge area. Great cocktails too!
Beautiful venue (once you find it!) with an awesome bar, lovely lounge & dining area.
The City Lunch Menu is amazingly light for Indian food.
Definitely want to come back for cocktails in the evening!
I went there for a Valentines dinner this year, and I was absolutely amazed from the minute I walked in. The place was just so gorgeous, perfect for a romantic time out.
The food was from the set menu and it was surprisingly very delicious. Being a contemporary restaurant, it had great North Indian food, they had different dishes for vegetarians and non-vegetarians and I tried both, and was not disappointed.
The food was presented very beautifully and had a classy look. The dim lighting and sofa seating make it very comfortable. Having the feeling of Indian street food in Central London is just amazing.
It is quite pricey to eat in their but I would suggest it for a special occasion outing and not a regular lunch restaurant.
I would definitely recommend it for a romantic first date!
It's the sister restaurant of its name sake in Mayfair.
The menu is not very extensive but all the stuff on there is pretty well done. The prices are a bit on the steep side but it is also geared toward the city / banker clientele so that is expected. As a result the atmosphere is a bit lacking in this place as well as it is generally dominated by "suits".
Mint leaf the most adorable thing about it is we can have chat in central London. that particular taste which you get only in Indian streets and to have it in Central London. The food is fab and they server big portions , the quantity is so good that we can share between 4 peoples. I always asked for a goodies bag after I m done with my dinner and I can have a lunch as well. Its not pricy and the quality of the food is fantastic. The customer Service is just fab, very friendly, warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Its can also be considered for romantic dates and candle light dinner if requested.
The dishes can be customized on request as well.
This is a modern Indian restaurant serving top quality food in a sophisticated environment.the food is excellent....very tasty, great quality and beautifully presented. We particularly enjoyed the bombay potato cakes, garlic chicken tandoori and lamb saddle. The decor and atmosphere is very nice with a "nightclub" feel which made it feel more like a night out rather than just a dining experience
A fantastic restaurant, with great service and lovely food. Further, the cocktails on offer are sublime, impressive from both a taste and visual standpoint. The price point and portions are also very fair and I would certainly recommend a visit.
The ambience here is amazing, so is the service and decor- exquisite. We got the peach passion mocktail which was lovely- not sour and not too sweet. For starters we got the chilli calamari, lamb seekh kebab and paneer. The paneer and chilli calamari were amazing but the lamb seekh kebab was quite dry. For mains we got the lamb and the prawns. Both mains were nice but I just hoped for a little kick, a little more spice to it. We got the kukumber salad which was okay. Pulao rice was fine. We got an assortment of bread (roti, paratha and garlic naan). The flavours were great but I didn’t like that they weren’t soft and fluffy and not in a basket. Our meal totalled about £80 with a 50% discount which was worth it.
Very good experience of lunch dinning, Julius help to choose dishes , served very quick n food was amazing...best in town...also Krishna served us was ver professional,
Thank you Julius for making our lunch special.....very professional person to serve and talk about food and Mint leave concept....keep it up
I had a midweek meal, the food was good Indian food. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was friendly. Had lamb chops (off the menu), bhel Puri and aloo tiki, makhani daal, green chicken curry with mint Naan. The meat was halal. My favourite was the makhani daal.
I went to this place yesterday with a bunch of my Indian friends and we all enjoyed a lot. The food, the services and the ambience were amazing.
Also, the hospitality of the staff members was also impressive.
Will definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking to eat good Indian food in London.
Such an amazing experience! The vibe was incredible, the waiters were super friendly, the cocktails too were great. The food was so enjoyable and mildly spiced, simply great. I will not hesitate to go back and recommend it to anyone in the area.
Thank you for a lovely evening yesterday. All our guests had a very good time and all your staff were very welcoming and helpful. Food and wine were very nice indeed.
Please pass on my thanks to everyone involved.
The food is delicious, the cocktails full of flavours. However, the service could be better. It is slow and you have to call many times for the attention of the staff. The place is beautiful, very well decorated.
Excellent food, Excellent service really friendly service with mouth watering delicious food I cannot wait for another special occasion to go back
Food was good, not exceptional. Service thoroughly okay. Decent choices for vegetarians. Host tried to seat me in the bar when I'd reserved a table, even though the restaurant was quiet. I'd go back to give it a second chance.
I had drinks and Dinner on 03 Nov 2022 . Great Ambience , amazing Food , awesome Hospitality . Recommended cocktail - Hanging Garden ( whiskey Based ) : Special thanks to Ms Meenu and Ms Anita , Mr Nitin also was a great guy .. It was an unforgettable experience - the warmth these Guys showed .. not only to Me but to every customer / client .. smiles always on face … thanks a lot
I was there for a lunch and was serviced by Jack. Everything was perfect, the service and the food. I really recommend this place.
Excellent food with great and friendly service.
It’s an amazing place to have lunch or dinner. Having been regular to the place, we have enjoyed our lunches and dinners here..
They have ala crate as well as sharing menus. You many vegetarian options available here. The thing I liked the most is the service of staff, they are ready to mould as per your demand if possible. Especially JULIUS has been very supportive all this time we have spent here. Being a pure vegetarian I would recommend this place as my first go to place to satisfy my starving.
Nice indian food and amazing staff ! Please, bear in mind that is an expensive place becfore booking, however food is incredible.
Downside : ladies toilets were dirty. I remove one star for that.
Had dinner with family and friends, everything was fantastic, from ambiance to food. Staff is super friendly and the owner, Mr Vikas accommodated us without any reservations. Had a great time, don’t miss Paneer Tikka if you like Paneer.
Excellent Indian restaurant right in London’s financial district (EC2). Everything from apps to main courses are freshly prepared and high quality. Ambiance and service are also top notch.
