Great little pub excellent atmosphere and decor excellent Thai food menu well worth a visit if you’re in the area i will be returning thanks again for the lovely time during my last visit
Not cheap when it comes to beer but a great wine list, good food and atmosphere. Takes a lot of beating.
Simply the best Sunday lunch out we've ever had. It really was that nice. Looked after by a girl with an arm in a sling - not that that slowed her down at all! Exceptional meal, exceptional service.
Just around the corner from Aldgate East tube sation along the Whitechapel road in east London Town. Looks like it's still the original interior dark wood panels and mouldings, there reference to Jack the Ripper saying one of the men lived in the cellar and was connected to three women's murders and was hanged for these crimes.
Good beers and ciders sold I had Pint of Guinness and was a lovely pint selling London pride bitter , people you must go it feels you are going back into history.
It was our first visit and we loved it. Wonderful beer (I tried a mild and a porter; my wife had an IPA), reasonably priced for London and a great atmosphere. Will definitely return, should we visit this part of the city again.
After a night at the Troxy seeing the specials walked back to the travel lodge where we walked past this pub and decided to go in for a late beer, the staff were brilliant and there was a fantastic atmosphere in there.
Lovely sunday lunch and drinks were reasonable prices and good atmosphere
Great Thai food can't wait to try out everything on the menu
Good quick service, friendly staff and reasonably prices.

Lovely little east end pub!!!! Very friendly!!... will definitely visit again when in London!!!!
One of the best places in East London to have a nice lunch and awesome craft beers! Food is beautifully made, and the beer those guys brew... Easily one of my fav London's breweries! I'm not a cask fan, but had an amazing session ale, light and flowery, that I'm looking forward to get once again!
Quick mention for their beers...
After a delicious Bleecker Burger, we decided to pop over to The White Hart in Whitechapel which recently had a refurb and has re-established itself as a brewpub with One Mile End Brewery in their basement.
Brewpub beer can often be rather bland and unadventurous, but that is not the case here. One Mile End mean business, as a recent tap takeover of Brewdog Camden proves. Alongside exemplary core beers such as Salvation Pale Ale, Snake Charmer IPA and Hospital Porter, you'll also find the likes of Rye Whisky Sour, Blood Orange Barrel Aged Saison, Farmhouse Pilsner and a Pale Ale infused with Pomelo and Chilli. The winner for me though was a dark and dangerous 7% Barrel Aged Black Sour.
You will be able to find One Mile End beers in boozers all over London, but it's well worth a wee pilgrimage to their lively public house in Whitechapel. With the District Line and the Overground a stone's throw away, it's actually pretty convenient. Plus they've got Dirty Burger and Chicken Shop as neighbours.
I like this pub. It's certainly the nicest one within lunchtime walking distance.
I like the food. It's tasty and well presented. I really like their burgers which are the nicest in the area. Better than the trendy burger bar a few doors down. The ploughman's is massive and well worth the money.
I've not enjoyed all the beers I've tried, but there are others that I have. The American Brown is a good pint.
Staff are also friendly and attentive.
All in all a good pub that I'm pleased is so close to my work.
In fact I think I might head there for a pint now..
After a very long day of traveling, we were ready to eat. We came out of the train station and walked into the first place that looked like it had a wide variety of food, drink and plenty of room to seat us. The coffee was good, the drinks were good and the food was good. I would go back here and think it was worth a stop.
Lovely people, almost lost a star⭐, as the loo's are down stairs and both sex according to a friend. Tower Hamlets, this business needs your help, help with updating the need for ground floor toilets, that means planning help and grants for this much needed and well subscribed recreational pub in your area!!!
If your visiting Whitechapel Hospital this maybe an issue.
The food was delicious, well priced as were our drinks.
I believe there were several punters just using the bathroom facilities poss as it was market day, not good for genuine customers. However, would go again, due to the happy friendly atmosphere and good tasty food, a welcome safe haven and meeting point, much needed for the area.

After a day done in Westmi ster, I hopped off the train in order to get a last Sunday roast before I left London, and this place had yummy pictures of one. Turns the oline menu is outdated, and they no longer serve a Sunday roast.
I was starving, so I opted for the fish & chips. And it hit the spot.
Staff was friendly, the football game was a bit loud, but that's me; I'm a sculler. It's a much quieter sport. 😆
Came here for an anniversary as it’s where I met my girlfriend a year ago. Just called and asked for some sparkling on the table and they sorted out flowers and chocs too. Couldn’t have been nicer. Never leave a review but these guys deserve one. Roasts looked banging too, cheers!

🍺 £5.20 London Pilsner
❤️ A superb modern day East End boozer.
.
The White Hart is located on the busy intersection of Mile End Road and Cambridge Heath Road. The nearest tube is Whitechapel which is a five minute walk away down bustling Whitechapel Road.
.
There has been a pub on this corner plot in the East End since 1750, It was rebuilt in its present form in around 1900 and is a striking building with a cupola high above the corner door.
.
This pub has seen many refurbishments over the years, the most controversial was in the 1990’s when all the original etched glass and mirror partitions were removed and the layout changed to one large open plan bar.
.
The current decor is bright and airy and makes for a cheerful environment. The stand out feature has to be the decorative columns the stand proudly down the centre of the bar.
.
The beer choice is fantastic, you’ll find local London brews plus imported classics such as Paulaner. I kept it local and had the London Pilsner, my pint was great and reasonably priced at £5.20. The food menu is diverse, there are banging burgers and more traditional dishes like beef, mushroom and Guinness pie. This pub serves hearty roasts on a Sunday.
.
I visited here with my Son and Daughter on a hot Saturday afternoon back in August. The crowd was a mix of young and old, the majority of punters were sitting on the benches at the front of the pub lapping up the summer sunshine. There is a welcoming feel here and the staff were pleasant.
.
I asked my Son and Daughter what they thought of the @whitehart_whitechapel . My Son liked the vibe and the beer choice and my Daughter loved the decor, I couldn’t agree more. This is a modern day East End pub with a superb offering, get this pub on your to do list 🍻.

A lovely pub near Waterloo station. The pub had a lovely atmosphere from the welcoming and friendly staff that were willing to accommodate a reservation at short notice.
My partner and I wanted a table for 2 for an hour later in the evening, which wasn't a problem at all for them.
Upon seating we used the app present in the table QR code to order, a process that was quick easy and simple to understand.
We both had burgers, which were lovely and excellently well priced, the drinks were also good, with a small but interesting range of ales on offer, however these were slightly more expensive than you would hope for. However this is a London pub so it's expected.
Service was good, although the drinks were forgotten about until our food was delivered.
Overall a wonderful experience, lovely food with lots of flavour, and a nice location with a good view of the gherkin from outside. Would definitely recommend it if you are in the area and want a nice meal for a date or the like.
Really nice bright pub showcasing their local area (lots of local street signs on the wall!)
Drinks are decently priced and we had a fun pub quiz on the 2nd floor on a Thursday night!
Didn't try the food as I'm a bit skint, but it look good.
Beautiful place, good drink and food. Friendly service. We ordered some starters and believe me, the sweet potato fries are delicious. I loved it.
Lovely staff, great location, great food , they have 2 for 12 spritz now from 4-9 pm.
Lovely space - very light and spacious. Decent selection of food, including some lighter bites + some nice beers on tap. Staff was friendly and the service was pretty quick.
