As you would hope for a coffee shop called Flat White, I ordered a flat white and it was very good. Very good indeed.

The best espresso coffee I've had in London. A real yummy taste reminiscent of home (and that's from a seasoned Kiwi barista)

That’s all from our side. The overall feedback would be that whatever they’re doing, they’re doing it right. In our short visit of about an hour we could see a good inflow of customers & that’s very good to see.

Nothing seems to make a dent in it.  Nothing seems to lift you up.  Nothing can hoist you from the hole where you are sulking. It’s on days like these that it seems that maybe a cute dog and a good coffee might lift you out of the pit.  Or perhaps I am just speaking for myself.

Perfect place for coffeeholics 👌🏼 kinda small but worth the wait. If you're planning to have a short coffee break this is one of the best coffee places in London.

Always crowded but the staff is really nice.
I like this coffee shop for many reasons: coffee, ambiance, location and staff.
Great place to cross by and grab a flat white.

Authentic flat white coffee in London was very tempting for me to try, so went to "Flat White" at Soho. It was amazingly authentic coffee and the place had a very cool Aussie vibe to it! It was small intimate, not cosy but perfect for quick mid-morning flat white pick-me-up, with spot on temperature, silky smooth and balanced bitterness.
Smashed avocados on toast were awesome and a must try here.
Must try for any genuine coffee lover !!!

This place was recommended to me by a friend of mine who has been living in London for the past year. The location was pretty great. When I first walked in there weren't many others in the cafe but the atmosphere was pretty relaxed and staff were friendly and up for a quick chat. The coffee was great, perfect drinking temperature straight away which is sometimes hard to find. Costs were pretty standard £2.80 for a flat white (!) and £5 for a tomato, basil and mozzarella baguette. The other items on their menu looked pretty good too, I'll definitely be going back for more.

Flat White - taking the pîss. This place paved the way for other aussie-style coffee places, but recently they've kept the same prices but now serve the smallest take-away cups I've ever seen & less coffee.
It's really mean.
I'll be going back to the original and best London coffee place - Monmouth.

Good Coffee. Good coffee.
A little on the luke warmish side. Prefer it a little hotter.
But they do know how to make coffee and do oblige when asked to make it hotter.

Coffee like in Melbourne mmmm. As a Melbourner in London this was a fantastic find. Two of us just had two lattes, crumpets and banana bread for brekkie but it was great (and cheap).

Feels like home :). Ahhh, everytime i land in London from Australia, roughly once a month, i go straight to flat white for a coffee and some Vegemite on toast. The coffee here is strong and full flavoured but not bitter or burnt. The people here are not the friendliest but the service is polite and eficient.

This is one of those places you almost wonder if your too main stream to be in as everyone here ooozes cool. I love nothing more than to people watch and listen in to the conversations, usually about art or music :). And the guys who make the coffee love to belt out a few tunes while they are working which shows me they love coming to work. The guys who work there are also incredibly goodlooking :) Very Glad this place exists as coffee anywhere else in London sucks!!

Flat White is all right. I had a flat white, whilst it was well made, it didn't live up to the hype everyone has put on this small coffee store. Maybe because I am not an Aussie or Kiwi.
It was good none the less though. Shame there is not more space to sit outside.

The best coffee in London. ...and the best atmosphere to go with it.

Sure, it's small. On the weekend you just possibly may have to wait a while before you can get a seat, but the good thing is that while you wait you can start on your first latte and watch the people pass you by.

The thing is, that Flat White actually know how to make coffee. It will never be burnt, separated, but always silky smooth and perfectly balanced.

Britain can make tea any day of the week, but when it comes to coffee their antipodean friends certainly take the cup.

Flat White is no frills when it comes to the tables and décor, but what it lacks in comfort, it more than makes up with its food and drink. If you’re after a decent, good value breakfast/brunch when you’re on the go or a proper coffee, I’d recommend giving Flat White a try.

I couldn’t help but expect Flat White to serve the best flat white in London. The name is genius, no wonder it’s now one of the best coffee shops in London. When I arrived at the trendy Soho, I faced a gothic looking shop that initially I thought was a metal or hard rock record seller. Obviously not deceived by the blacked out exterior, there is always a constant stream of people queueing to grab coffee.

I was single for four years before I met the Ex. In between one story and the next I moved to London and for the first time was completely responsible for myself. To twist Spiderman's words slightly, "with great responsibility came great loneliness". Yes it was my choice; didn't make it easier though, knowing it was your decision all the way. When I first moved to London I had to force myself to go out on my own. My first solo trip to the cinema was a traumatic experience and I remember running home even before the end credits started rolling. I've come a long way from that trip to Odeon Swiss Cottage. In the last few years I've learnt to love the journey of discovering this vibrant city and myself. I used to love hanging out with myself. Just before I met the Ex my favourite Sunday activity used to be a Table for ONE at a lovely new restaurant. Then I met someone and there began a rosy life as a couple. I forgot what it was to spend time with myself and now find myself at the beginnin

i did a walkabout london yesterday with a friend who is visiting from back home. soho revealed a host of new places to sample. in between i had a quick lunch at flat white. it's a tiny café on berwick street with a very distinct vibe and a really dense smell of coffee. lunch was bite sized pieces of baked butternut and grilled mozzarella with a generous amount of caramelized onion chutney, sandwiched between two slices of crusty well toasted white bread. i finished of with the trade mark flat-white which bore a perfect fern in its foam top (just in case a flat white is an antipodean style coffee which is served as a strong shot of espresso served in a small cup with textured milk). a short walk (including a walk-out of maison bertaux) owing to indecision over dessert and my friend's craving for cinnamon buns we landed up at the nordic bakery.

Once in a while I come across a lovely independent coffee shop or cosy and innovative tea house and even though my blog really focuses on food, they should be mentioned. How often do I end up at Starbucks or Nero because I don't know where else to go? That's why I have decided to introduce the coffee shop and tea house category . There is no rating as I won't mention any bad places (unless they are so bad that I find it necessary to spread the word…) and in most I won't have eaten anything. It's just abou

A simple hole in the wall coffee spot, one of my cousins fav spots. Like a regular cliché I ofcourse ordered the flat white at the flat white with two sugars no less, which got a few stares and comments. Some seconds and a few glances at some funny comments put up all over the place later we got our drinks to go and to my surprise somw great coffee !! Recommended try for coffee lovers.

One fo the nicest coffee's i have had in a while. I drank a flat white for the first time when i used to live in australia. The flat white is the nicest i have had in a while, as good as the one i had in that small coffee shop in sydney. Great place to go and the staff are quite nice. One gripe was the fact that one day while taking a flattie to go mine was a bit cold. otherwise it is a great place .

It's one of the place that I would always go back to because the beans, the coffee everything is perfect. The staff is very welcoming. The coffee's are a lil bit on the small side but the fact that they use the best beans really makes up for it.

Really enjoyed this place. Quiet, friendly place situated in busy SOHO. Coffee - 7.8: the taste is quite strong and potent. They just have a single origin on offer. Great for a morning wake up but little more than that. The milk blend is mixed to a high standard and the barista was friendly & knowledgeable. Perhaps with a house blend of something more interesting this place could become a little more tasteful.

Great place to have breakfast around Soho. You will find other coffee shops to get coffees, but tend to be busier than Flat White. Modern and kind staff, with great coffee options. I really recommend the avocado toast. The brownie is also amazing, but it’s very sweat (for me). It has tables outside where you can enjoy the street. You have also the chance to take away your breakfast.

Small-ish cafe in soho on the way to the fashion district, nice to people watch and hop onto other boutiques and vintage shops. They have avo toast, of course, and an array of pastries. You have to wait for your coffee outside which can be a little awkward (perhaps a clearer waiting corner could be established) and didn’t feel so personal but coffee was nice and smooth with a sharp twang.

Best coffee I have had in London to date. Relaxed and on an amazing cobblestone pedestrian lane dedicated to street food vendors. Mostly indoor seating with a couple of seats on the street. A simple coffee shop done really well. Apart from cookies and brownies, I could not see any substantial food options. Had 8 coffee bean varieties for sale and a public grinder in store. Unfortunately you still have to ask for choc on cappuccino even though it has an Aussie vibe ;)

I love this place. Sat busy lunch time they coped with a danced out tired old me; even when they seemed to be short one member of staff. And the Monday morning it was so cosy to sit at the back under the gaping hole in the ceiling..the service food and music made up for any short comings. I will be back again and again!

I am a coffee person so I visit some famous cafes whenever I travel abroad. I tried flat white several times at other cafes in London but most of them are quite disappointing. But here's flat white is quite impeccable. The taste is acidic enough and the milk is amazingly proper for flat white.
