Apart from pizzas, this place also specialises in Romanian savouries and pastries that are delicious and moreish. It's quite an effort to get the staff to smile, greet and thank the customers.

On Camden High Street just a little bit further off from the beaten tourist track, there lies a little bakery and cafe called Melissa. When I used to work near Mornington Crescent, I’d regularly pop in to see a particular waitress but what also truly is a marvel is their tomato, feta and basil flatbreads, croissants cut in half and stuffed with brie and sun dried tomato and rocket, homemade sausage rolls, hotdog style frankfurters in crunchy pastry lined with cheese (ask for mustard), chorizo and mozzarella rolls and ensembles of fruit filled pies, crepes and pastries to mention just a few things on offer, displayed in the shop window. Make no mistake these are all of course extremely delicious and very reasonably priced, you’ll totally love it. For all the reasons above, I couldn’t recommend it more.

Melissa's has been serving affordable, good quality food for several years in Camden. They have a range of sweet and savoury selections at a price range extremely suitable for lunch. Limited seated provided ( ~15 seats, very cramped but nice decor). Everything is made fresh on the day, from their large £1 cinnamon pretzels, to their chicken & bacon sandwiches. Their small pizzas were a favourite of mine, but the quality of them has dipped quite significantly over the past year, whilst raising the price by 20p. Regardless, I still eat here fairly regularly, and their salads and sandwiches are great quality for the price. And the clear out discounts at the end of the day don't hurt either.

Great little place,... clean, quaint, comfortable, and friendly staff. The pizzas were great, artisan-like quality and very tasty... I'd say about 6 inch diameter, on something resembling a soft delicious pretzel bread and an absolute steal at £1.80! They've introduced amazing fresh handmade sandwiches for a steal of £2. Several varieties of soft pretzels, were fantastic too. Need to try all the other fare here... traditional things like sausage rolls, to chicken/bacon 'pies/pasties', and they have lots of nice looking pastries if you're into that.

This place is great, some really nice food at reasonable, borderline cheap prices. My nephew loves the pretzels. Just had a vegetarian pizza and it's easily one of the best I've ever had. Super soft base with lots of veg and tons of flavour. Brilliant! Has seating in the back and though small, they don't try to rush you out.

Nice little shop and good food. Good for lunch, good for breakfast, good for a quick bite. Great chicken and Bacon sandwich for £2.30, great cinnamon pretzel for £1. The only thing I don't quite like is pizza is pretty empty, it should have more toppings.

Melissa's is a great place to sit and gobble! You can't beat the prices for Camden, they are truly reasonable. The food is good, although the pizza/some pasteries can sometimes be on the oily side. Coffee is okay too if you need your fix. And if you manage to get a seat, great little place to sit for a few minutes to catch up with the day

Amazing place for a quick coffee, sandwich, or a patisserie. Eastern European influenced, this cosy place produces lovely cakes, pasties, sandwiches, and pizzas. The prices are from cheap to not very expensive, but the quality is 100%. The staff are great and nothing is too much trouble. I love this place and go every time I'm on Camden High Street.

My favourite place to eat in Camden. I always pick up a bunch of cinnamon pretzels and a few freshly made pizzas when I'm passing by. Delicious! Everything is great value too, cheaper than anything similar you might get at a supermarket.. Whether you're a hardcore "foodie" or just looking for a snack for lunch, this place is perfect. Makes me wish I lived in Camden!

Walking around between Camden Town and Mornington Crescent, I just came across this new bakery and cafe on Camden High Street. Melissa is a nice little shop with warm and wooden interior and a broad selection of sweet and savoury bakery items (besides bread, unfortunately). Despite I got a tasty oat& cinnamon cookie for free with my cappuccino - if you're looking for a decent coffee, you're probably better off at Leya's just a few doors down. But when you want some delicious bakery food in the area, Melissa might be the best option.

Been living and working in the area for about a year and came across Melissa's just two days ago. Best cinnamon pretzels, and custard donuts ever and the £1.50 pizza is a bargain and extremely tasty.. Thats not bad going in two days ... Couple with a lovely quaint interior you couldnt ask for much more ...

Used to go there every week when I lived local and always make a stop if I'm near. Spectacular pretzels and home made doughnut. I've not tried much of the salted food though.

Such a cozy bakery. They have seats and tables to eat-in. Has the 55p(I think) oatmeal and cinnamon cookie, chocolate and custard brioche and a cuppucino =) They were all really satisfying.

Tiny but amazingly delicious! Simply gorgeous! If you'd desire some pretzels in London, I totally say this is the place to get them!
