Yummy Indian comfort food. The only place around Chiswick to rely on for good Indian food. Love their Murgh Tikka Biryani.
We have been there twice and I loved both my experiences. The second time we were there, I ordered the Murgh Tikka Biryani again as I had loved it the first time. It tasted completely different but I loved this version as well. Don't think such inconsistencies are a good thing though. I was just plain lucky I liked this version.
Otherwise, the other dishes on the menu are good. The lamb biryani, the dal, the accompaniment that comes with the biryani is great; albeit very Bengali. The Tandoori Murgh is well plated but lacks punch; can be made more succulent.
Staff is nice and warm. The ambiance can do with a serious makeover and so can their music playlist.
Big plus - they do home deliveries around the area.
Overall, this is the only place in a 3 km. radius where I would go for Indian food.
Went there for dinner with a group of friends (6 of us). The food was great and very tasty. However, the service let us down a bit... They took ages to serve us between courses and we constantly had to keep asking for their attention.
I had their chicken balti dish (HOT!) and garlic naan... Started with poppadoms, samosas, onion bhajis and chicken tandoori. The samosas lacked a bit of umph to them... And by umph I mean taste, just to be clear.
Overall, a nice dinner and would probably go again as its a nice environment too!

A fabulous restaurant. Excellent food and service but what sets this restaurant apart is the friendly staff team. Nothing is too much trouble. I’ve been a regular here for 2 decades and would never hesitate to recommend. Try it you won’t be disappointed.
The food and service was fantastic. I'm from San Francisco where we have a good variety of Indian food, but this food from West Bengal was especially delicious and different. The service was amazing also, and the atmosphere was wonderful and relaxed. We came back here twice in a week for dinner!
This was a great find. We had not dined here before, but received the warmest of welcomes. The restaurant is spotless and the staff are very friendly. Being vegetarian, the staff made me a dish, that was not on the menu, saag and mushroom vindaloo. It was amazing !

We had a lovely meal at Annapurna. The service was extremely gracious, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The house wine was quite nice as well. We highly recommend it.
Had an amazing time at this Indian restaurant, traditional tasting food, chearfull service, very clean establishment. Not disable friendly when it comes to the WC, it's downstairs, the only fault for me. I would highly recommend this place to all able-bodied persons.
This is an amazing restaurant here in London, Chizwick area. Indian food that you don't find in San Francisco...a different style that you're guaranteed to enjoy. If you like (or are interested in) the various regions of India and their unique cuisines, this will be a treat for you. I'm a vegetarian and it's perfect. Great service, very friendly and warm. They truly care about their customers and it's shows. Add this to your list of restaurants to eat at. Turnham Green station on the District Line will wisk you to Chizwick and it's a nice area to walk around as well. Enjoy the restaurant as much as we have!
Has to be the best Indian restaurant in Chiswick always great food and good atmosphere when you visit. The staff are very friendly and so attentive they there to help and please. Food is great think have tried half of the menu and to date not had anything that didn’t hit the spot. If you in the area and like a good bit of spice you need to visit and give it a try.
Annapurna consistently serves good food: good quality meat, (non oily) naans; fresh-tasting veg dishes & I love their mushroom fried rice. Their drinks are sensibly priced & the staff friendly. I have been to Annapurna many (10-20) times & can reccomend it for a good quality Indian meal at a reasonable price.
One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been too - and I’ve been to quite a few. Almost rivals India itself (I’ve been fortunate to visit Mumbai and Chennai)!
