I went to Crown and Anchor for a lunch date. I was very delighted to visit it.
Loved the fish and chili chicken.
You guys should definitely try this outlet.
Made a last minute booking online for my family without realizing it was for after the time their kitchen closed. I got an email promptly asking if we could come in earlier since we wanted to eat dinner. Our table was ready when we got there & the staff was friendly and willing to answer our questions about local beers. We needed somewhere convenient to end our vacation in London, and this place exceeded our expectations! Great food, great atmosphere, helpful staff.
Lovely pub that is easy to book - came here for Sunday Roast and was not disappointed. The Yorkshire pudding was nice, thick and a bit crispy. Good proportion with vegetarian (Nut roast) & normal beef roast choices.
Could have more gravy and seasoning, but otherwise service was great and we had a blast.
Great hosts! We were watching the rugby and as soon as a better seat was available one of the guys let us know. Just that extra attention to detail is something you don’t get a lot of these days. Also great variety of beers on tap.
Will absolutely visit again. Maybe for the final!
I'm delighted to share my wonderful experience at the Crown and Crown Pub! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff, setting the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable meal.
Speaking of the food, I was absolutely blown away by the delectable dishes that Crown and Crown Pub had to offer. Each bite was a burst of flavor, clearly prepared with a lot of care and expertise. The menu showcased a variety of options to cater to different tastes, and the presentation of the dishes was truly impressive.
What truly stood out, apart from the mouthwatering food, was the impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met, making me feel like a valued guest.
All in all, Crown and Crown Pub is a gem of a place for food enthusiasts. The combination of scrumptious food and exceptional service makes it a top choice for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to visit again and indulge in their culinary delights!
A busy pub on the corner of Drummond and North Gower Streets. Plenty of people enjoying or thinking of enjoying lunch. The Crown and Anchor is a pretty pub with fast efficient service. There is plenty of beer on offer both from the keg and the cask. Five real ales on today including a Mild. Certainly worth a visit!
Met some friends here for drinks on Saturday and had a wonderful time. We brought our 2 year old Staffy along because we thought we might be there a while and the staff could not have been more welcoming. We’d barely sat down and someone brought some water over for her which was so appreciated after a long tube journey. The staff weren’t just nice to the dog either, they were very approachable and helpful when there was a mix-up with an order I was placing.
I didn’t have any food because I’m on a diet (booo) but I’ll have to go again when I’m thin because my partner reckons the cheeseburger was the best cheeseburger he’s had in a pub ever. My friend had the steak sandwich from the specials board which also looked delicious.
The best place we visited in london.
Super friendly staff, felt really cared for despite how busy it was and how late we came in. A really nice bunch of lads.
Quick service for food and drink ! And a great selection of beers and wines that the staff were knowledgeable on
Watched a rugby match and
Unfortunately Ireland lost the rugby that night but nice too see a pro-Irish crowd in a little corner of London

Cracking Pub
On a dismal rainy afternoon looking to fill a couple of hours, drifted into the crown and anchor. Really good selection of beers, and a cracking bar menu. Plenty of space, nice outdoor covered seating, bar really well presented and friendly staff
This was an awesome pub. First time in the UK. Stop here and then headed to Scotland. A perfect first stop. Great food, and service. One of my family has serious allergies and they were very particular about making sure they knew all the details. Also a great atmosphere.
We went here on a Sunday afternoon.
The food was tasty, yet nothing out of the ordinary. The portion sizes were good for both dishes we got.
Similar to the service - start was a bit shaky as with an empty restaurant they were not sure if they had enough tables (provided the reservations were starting 2-3 hours after we got there). Ultimately we were sat and it all went smoothly from there.
