A very nice andn comfortable place! We will come back!!!
Very good and comfortable good price and good value
The Prince of Wales at the (High Street Ken) head of Church Street, Kensington is a Greene King owned and run pub. This basically means everything from the interior to the beers…and the food is bog standard Greene King; so much so that even the menu says Greene King rather than the Prince of Wales (I hadn’t actually noticed that till now). Step inside and you’re greeted by the cosy, instantaneously nostalgic interior of a (cleaned-up) classic English pub. It’s a bit like putting the body of 60’s e-type Jag on a new f-type; classic to the eye but thoroughly modern underneath. Is that a good thing? I don’t know; it was clean and warm, and the European wait and bar staff were friendly enough… The food however left much to be desired; the fish and chips was tasteless, the steak and ale pie dry, even the sausages from the sausages and mash were overcooked and wrinkly on the ends. Hungry as we were, none of this stopped us from wolfing it all down. So, if you’re looking for a mea,l I recommend you consider other options but as a pub, the Prince of Wales is most certainly worth a visit.
Waste NOT. Want NOT.
Just a place to grab a beer. This is one of the places I like to grab a beer with a couple of pals. I have never eaten here and would not recommend it for anyone.
Really nice place to take a break in the crazy shopping. A nice selection of drinks, Green King on the tab and a decent selection of ciders.
The menu is also quite divers even though, they could not deliver on every promise. One is tempted to say it almost English tapas. We were 4 person, who shared five "small" plates of cod, halumi, avô and sweet potato and more, which proved quite sufficient to satisfy our hunger.
Even though it doesn't look big from the outside, it fits a lot of people inside. We ate fish and chips and the portions were very large and tasty. The toilet was very dirty. Pub is located near subway station and shopping center.
I recently dined at Prince of Wales and was absolutely blown away by both the exquisite food and the enchanting ambiance. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by an atmosphere that seamlessly blended elegance and comfort, creating an unforgettable dining experience.
The menu offered a delightful array of dishes, each prepared with utmost care and attention to detail. From the first bite to the last, every dish was a culinary masterpiece. The flavors were rich, diverse, and perfectly balanced, showcasing the culinary expertise of the chefs.
What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service provided by Maya,as i recall.
Her attentiveness and warm demeanor made me feel like a valued guest throughout the evening. She anticipated my needs and ensured that every aspect of my dining experience was flawless.
Prince of Wales has truly mastered the art of delivering not only incredible food but also an ambiance that transports you to a world of luxury and indulgence. It's a place where you can savor both delectable flavors and impeccable hospitality. My visit here was an absolute delight, and I can't wait to return for another memorable evening.
Thank you, prince of wales and Maya for this astonishing experience.

We went for drinks but the dishwasher was broken which meant we had plastic pint cups. Wasn't a problem though, I quite enjoyed my pint of white wine spitzer 🤣
Very nice old English Pub serving classic pub food and alcoholic beverages. Located right off of Kensington High street within walking distance of Kensington Palace. Great place to pop into after shopping or to meet up with friends. Also love that it’s dog friendly.
Great pub, great beer, glad we stumbled over here to enjoy the great vibes!
Nice pub in the most popular place of London, Kensington Church street. A sport pub, that is why we have gone there to watch a football match of Milan, an Italian team. But we have had a good dinner at the same time as well as a pint of good beer. Lots of different dishes and absolutely good: from fish and cheeps and beer buttered fish to hamburger and rolls and woodland mushrooms pie. Good mixed vegetables salad. Professional and kind staff.
Came together with friends and we had lots of fun. Loved the bar and massive selection of drinks, the server recommended us the Level head and Flint eye beers, gave us taste before we made the decision to purchase it, very friendly and professional manners. I will be recommending this pub and we'll surely come back. We had some sharing plates, we loved the chicken wings, the meat was very soft and just perfectly crispy, variety of sauces available as well, nachos was great and we had some sides of chips and fries, those was hot and fresh just like they meant to be. Lovely atmosphere.
A great little pub, Prince of Wales is bustling with customers enjoying the football and the best fish and chips. Happy bar stuff offering excellent service. Plenty of beer both cask and keg. This is most certainly a well cared for venue. I had an amazing time here. Thank you to the team for my time in this lovely pub. I would definitely recommend this pub to my friends.
A gem of a pub with an incredible selection of beers and wine! We were spoiled for choice and had a fantastic time trying out different drinks. Very close to public transport made it even better. Definitely visiting again and recommending it to all my friends!!!!
One of the oldest pubs in High Street Kensington but the atmosphere is amazing! They have an amazing collection of G&T and we had a delicious Sunday beef roast. Maya was lovely and she helped me select the perfect! A must visit spot! :')
Speedy service and lovely atmosphere, the waitress was super chatty and friendly, gave us some recommendations. We had dinner and we tried multiple dishes. The offer for 27.50£ for 5 sharing starters is lovely, beautiful variety of great taste and general just great tasty food. The avocado potatoes was literally my favourite together with the sticky karaage chicken. Pretty bar with huge selection of drinks, boe violet smashed 💜 it. I'm strongly recommending, it is a hidden gem.
Visited the pub year later, this time to watch the World Cup :) Very nice atmosphere!
This time serving food was allowed so got a chance to try out some of the dishes. The beef is to die for! Chicken was too fried to my taste 😂 Still very delicious!

Good place to watch the game! Multiple screens, friendly people :)
Big plus for serving kombuchas as non alcohol drink alternative!
The food was amazing! We tried English breakfast and Irish coffee. It's a great place to hangout and has very friendly staff. Maya's service was amazing and she was warm and welcoming.
The food at this pub exceeded our expectations! The bacon and cheese burger was divine, and the Katsu chicken burger was a delightful surprise. We couldn't resist trying the roasted chicken, and it was tender and flavorful. Delicious toasties too!
What an amazing overall experience! From the moment we stepped in, the courtesy of the staff made us feel welcome. The cozy atmosphere and convenient location near High Street Kensington tube station were definite pluses
The 2 girls serving behind the bar were lovely and friendly. Nice atmosphere and drinks were reasonably priced. Would recommend and deffo visit again
Food and prices are alright for Kensington (between 10 and 15 £ per main). Nothing fancy, but good portions and a wider selection of things - from burgers, over pies to fish n chips. The staff is friendly but it's self-service. So all in all, it's a good place for an easy dinner with some beers - not more not less.
Nice little pub tucked of the main high street! You could easily walk by this place and not notice it.
Nice little pub, reasonably priced food and drink.
Clean place with friendly staff.
I would certainly recommend this as a nice little, cozy British pub!
