Not far away from the station and wasn't as crowded as the other greene king pubs near by. Food served here, it was quite delicious. Good bar snacks too. Good selection of beers! It is pretty small so with the windows open you can get some secondhand smoke.
I was here for Sunday lunch on a quiet afternoon, so your experience may vary, but...
Wonderful roast belly pork. Perfectly cooked, and delicious vegetables and very nicely presented. It was really good value too (£14, I think). Washed down with a pint of Bitter and Twisted. That was overpriced, bu
Cozy little pub, could use a new selection of beers, but the food it's well worth it.
They have an open kitchen, and it makes the dinning experience really nice, you can see the chef preparing you're delicious food. Please try the croquetes and the brownies, they are delicious!!!
Nice little pub to stop by on an afternoon walk around the lovely streets of South Ken. Sunny benches, friendly staff and refreshing drinks. Aaaaand the occasional big fancy sport car speeding by loudly to the awe of a local hen party.
Brilliant little place. Went in with some visiting Spanish friends and the staff were AMAZING! Went straight into Spanish, made us all feel very welcome. Allowed sample tasting of the wines and lagers to ensure (which any brewery or good pub should allow) to ensure that we would enjoy our drinks. Gr
This venue has just had a new refit, change of ownership and new menu! I've eaten in the restaurant upstairs twice since reopening and must say the food is spectacular; delicious, well presented and subtly balanced. The service was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend to
Gorgeous little pub near the V&A. It is beautifully turned out, a mix of old and new which works charmingly. We didn't try the food, unfortunately, but there was a excellent selection of beers on tap, lots of interesting works and wines too. I would definitely return the next time I find myself in M
Great pub for a drink and food after visiting the V&A
Nice pub. A little long and thin, so can get cramped when busy, but it's a nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the booze was priced as you'd expect for the area. Dog friendly too.
Very nice place. The menu is original enough to make us curious but not discouraged so we decided to enter. Many vegetarian dishes, good beer and cider. Kind and quick personnel. To come back!
Quite good, in an area without many decent pubs. Rather small and cramped inside. Nice atmosphere, warm, pleasant. Not much ale on handpumps - they did have Pride which seemed good, and Brewdog in bottles. Prices were fair (for the area) which is to say about £4 a pint. Gents toilet very tatty.
While not exactly "ripping with character", we found the staff very friendly, attentive, and - best of all - the food was excellent. We had the Scotch eggs (fresh, hot, medium cooked egg center and nicely vinegary piccalilli), the Heritage Tomato salad (four tomato varieties, light and delicious) an
Friendly staff, nice beer selection , very cosy
Lovely pub and really good service.
Ive been in this pub on and off for the last 6 years or and have consistently received a warm welcome and excelent service. Its a perfect haven from the chaos of the local tourist spots and brompton road dispute being so close to everything knightsbridge and Chelsea have to offer. Highly recomended.
