What a find! Beautiful building, felt like we traveled back in time to a much better place. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. Great food - the duck is my favorite choice! Busy but good acoustics ensured we could have a conversation without having to shout.

Friendly service, very well presented and great tasting food. The drinks special Pina colada slushy was a nice option too. Only negative was some of the potatoes weren't as good as the rest of the dish. Also watch out for the offer of 'water while you think about your drinks order', it's not free/cheap.

Awesome boozer! You’ll have to travel quite a way to get a better burger. Washed down with a pint of Gammaray. #Perfection

As an old hotel, The Queens is one of those big London pubs dominated by a large, wooden central bar, high elaborate ceilings and stained glass. The bar and semi-formal dining room are generally busy, warm and noisy. The menu is hearty and reliable.

The Queens is a lovely place to eat/get drinks, everyone who works there go out of their way to give you a good evening. The food is outstanding and you can even see the chefs prepare it. I highly recommend The Queens to anyone and everyone. Hope this helped.

I can only offer a five star as a default. The welcome from the young Korean lady at the bar, amazing and maybe we shall argue over Welsh or Korean for some time to come. The place is a super late Victorian pub but with the most fantastic Art Deco windows, simply amazing. The ceiling is also stunning. A great privilege to be able to have a beer with these people.

Excellent pub. There Sunday roasts are to die for. Had the mix roast and is one of the top roasts I’ve had in London. Desert of chocolate brownie is heaven. Lovely wait staff. The pub has a classic London pub feel. Will be back.

Great pub in Crouch End with a nice garden in the back, excellent food and a wide range of beers. Some of the best pub food in London - particularly liked the steak sandwich and chicken Milanese

Update 9/12/2 Festive meal, nice take by the fireplace. Ordered from Festive menu, traditional turkey with all trimmings, belly pork, veal pie, dessert sticky toffee pudding Fantastic service! Update on 24/9/22 Lunch with a friend, birthday drinks too. Ordered the Chicken, ham and leek pie, our server said if you're a fan of pasty, then this is for you, well it was, it was absolutely delicious. The pastry was fresh, crunchy, the chicken was succulent and the tarragon sauce was too die for. Only slight drawback was the ham and couldn't really taste the leeks. But overall we reallt enjoyed it, my plate was clean!!! Just a note on the ladies toilets, seems they are refurbishing, so they've incorporated the ladies with the disabled loo (just the one toilet). Not sure how long this will be for... But the ladies are accessed through the mens main toilet door....if you're confused, go and see for yourself 😅 We also sat in the beer garden, nice and warm with those outdoor heaters... 👍 Arrived around 6ish for drinks and dinner. Ordered lime soda spritzer with fish and chips (£11.50). Staff were polite and friendly. Good food options on the menu, whereas the drinks menu was on another level. The fish didn't smell very fresh, batter was hard yet crispy, but the double, triple cooked chips were blooming amazing!!! Told them I didn't eat peas, and they were happy to swap for a side salad. Very accommodating indeed. Good atmosphere, but at times, staff were too busy chatting to the kitchen staff, had to wait a while for them to finish and notice us. Would visit again!

We had a 27-people party at this wonderful gastropub. Their long bar gave us a good sense of enclosure. There was a good range of delicious food to choose from. The portion of a fish and chip was incredible. The service was top-notch - friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this pub for party/gathering or simply for a meal. Wonderful!

I must say, after all my years of going around London I finally found the one. As soon as I walked in I felt at home The friendly faces, the warm lighting, the vibrant windows and the beautiful staff. I ordered my drinks and was served by two lovely boys named Luis and Ferris. Very friendly, pretty and welcoming. I was new to the area and they gave some great recommendations. Ferris made this joke and I still tell my friends to this day. It was outrageous and not one for Google reviews. The food was amazing as well, Harvey and Jake the chefs and I must say they know how to throw it down. *chefs kiss* This weirdo Seth was there, apparently hes there quite often and he loves it and no wonder why. I’m now with him everyday. Ps. The ginger ones quite fit

Great pub with a fantastic atmosphere, great grub and brilliant staff. Had an absolutely banging Christmas dinner this year which was tasty, beautifully presented and plentiful, making it excellent value for money.

Great cocktails! Really nice outdoor garden space to sit for the summer. Service was friendly and good. Pity I didn’t try the food, although it smelt great when the surrounding tables food came. Menu looked like it had a good selection that wasn’t just the usual pub grub. Prices are slightly higher than your usual local pub

Have always been in the area but have never paid a visit, went last night the place was packed, a good selection of lagers and a nice court yard garden the pub also has a massive bar and original decor throughout which you don't get much these days. Well worth dropping by.

I love The Queens. I feel so lucky to have such a gorgeous local. We used to eat here all the time, too. Not anymore, though, alas. The prices have wildly outgrown their britches. It's silly- I can eat at that lovely new French place on Middle Lane or really pretty much any of the fun Highgate options for better food and more reasonable prices.

Only had a drink, so cannot comment on food (tho' had a brilliant looking menu pinned up, may come back to try!). Beer was fine but main thing is the incredible Victorian architecture and internal decor. Friendly staff and relaxed lunchtime atmosphere.

Amazing roast! Loved the beef especially. The staff and kitchen were very accommodating to my friend’s dietary requirements (gluten free). Super cosy vibes, very happy with the service and food!!

We had a really enjoyable lunch at The Queens. We came in with a big dog, and the staff were really accommodating. The roast was delicious, albeit a bit pricey. Solid 4/5!

I've been here before with my in-laws and partner for a Sunday roast and I have to say it's one of the best I've had. The pork belly and beef are amazing and the chef is plentiful with all the trimmings. The service is always with a smile and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit for anyone who like pub Sundays.
