The Duke's Head in Putney is a real hidden gem. I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and I can't say enough good things about it.
First and foremost, the roast dinner was exceptional. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the veggies were fresh and flavorful. It's a must-try.

Enjoyed a great Sunday Roast. 1st Sunday Roast in London and everything was exactly what I expected. I had the three meat and all of it was perfectly cooked and juicy. A couple of good lagers and called it a day.

The food was excellent, waiting staff very on it and we all had a great time. However the experience was let down a lag waiting for food, it took around an hour. The staff said there was a function upstairs with a lot of people, and kitchen was overwhelmed and hence all our food was cold on arrival.
Visited The Dukes Head in Putney for an early dinner and was looked after by Sona. It was excellent. The service from Sona and the food/drinks were both of a very high standard - will definitely be back! Thank you.
Had a double date here with old friends on a Saturday evening. Wonderful food - entrées and mains all very good and tasty. House red average but was reasonably priced. Service was a bit of a miss; we didn’t bother with the 12.5% service charge of some £25 because it didn’t justify it that evening. O

Consistently good quality and has real flavour, which can be lacking is so many other places. Good portion size too.

Excellent service. We stayed in Putney and we were recommended here by our host. Easy to walk to, or close to public transport.
Right on the Thames with lovely views onto the River. We visited on a Sunday and all four of us had various roast dinners, including the Vegan Roast which was excellent.
Gorgeous decor - so many interesting places to sit and enjoy. There is a view of the Thames and the seats are comfy. It is expensive and quite posh - but the service is brilliant and the pints are cold! I would take a date here to impress.
