I love this place. Been coming here for two decades. The food is delicious; the vodkas are marvellous and the staff are incredibly friendly. It is consistently good. A lovely place to go for after work drinks and dinner. I highly recommend a visit (or three).
My favourite beer? Tick. Delicious pierogi? Tick. Awesome staff? Tick. Will definitely come back and recommend to others!
Awesome little bar. Good selection of food and a cosy atmosphere. The staff are really friendly too and were quite accommodating of my broken Polish Planning to revisit!
Excellent place to chill out, can be a bit pricey but good range of vodka
Delicious, home-made food! Pierogi to die for.
Bardzo przytulne miejsce.Obsluga jest bardzo sympatyczna. Jedzenie je wyśmienite.
Best bar ever!!! Every time I am here I try a new vodka!
Great atmosphere and super service. Will be one to go back to for the next gathering
Fantastic place with lots and lots of bottled Polish beers and Polish vodka. Really cool owner and staff. Located steps away from the Holborn Underground Station. Didn't try the food though they have some good snacky options.
We stumbled upon this place using the handy draw a circle on map feature in Zomato.... and what a great find!! It's hidden away in a tiny alley that is almost hidden itself... I would have never have thought to look. We just wanted a quick decent bite and a quick drink so no time to sample the vodka menu on this occasion. I ordered pierogi (polish ravioli for the uninitiated) and my dining partner ordered a barszcz (beetroot soup). Very reasonably priced and very tasty. Washed down nicely with an unpasturised Polish beer I'd never heard of. Miso pleasantly surprised.

This is a Polish bar that focuses on their favourite tipple – vodka. A bit like an indie version of Revolution, this bar has every kind of vodka you can imagine in terms of flavours. I don’t know where they get them from – whether they are in-house creations or not, but the range is certainly innovative.
The menu is split into divisions of Dry and Interesting, Nice and Sweet, Clear and Clean, and various brands of vodka. You can try flavours such as starka – a vodka aged in barrels so it becomes a bit like whiskey, or a vodka infused with bitter digestive herbs. We tried quite a range, having about 7 between us in the short time we were there. First up we chose two each – I had honey and spice and melon, Alison had lemon drops and hazelnut. At only £3.00 each, you can definitely try a few different ones so after these four we went back for another three. I chose these and this time I picked sweet plum, kminkowu – sweet caraway seeds and husarska – green fennel bulb infusion.
You can either take the view that they sell shots and so you should shoot them, or, you can sip them and savour the different tastes. For they actually do have quite intense flavours that are (mostly) pleasant to drink, rather than mainly tasting of vodka with a hint of something else. We didn’t shoot ours and instead shared them between us so we could try them all. I liked all of them except the fennel one which had a more powerful aniseed taste than real fennel tends to. The most pleasant surprise was the sweet caraway seed flavour, which reminded me of sesame. Nutty, but indeed sweet.
Being the night before Christmas Eve, with very few people in town, Bar Polski was all but empty. There was just one very drunk work party, and us. So the atmosphere was lacking, and it being rather hidden behind Holborn station I can imagine it doesn’t get too packed anyway. Obviously, this is the place to go for any vodka lover, but I’d highly recommend it for those who profess not to love the spirit as well – the flavours here will convince you.
Although this place is in an odd location but once you get in here, it is a wonderful experience. The food is excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially my salad. There are a wide range of options available on the menu and the drinks are quite good as well. The ambience is quite warm and comfortable, yet a little modern. I would love to come back!
This is a great place to chill with your gang of friends over a drink. We have always preferred this place over the other crowded pubs in town. There is an extensive collection of Polish vodkas in their menu that comes with various flavors. Beer selection is also huge. The food accompanying your drinks is appetizing as well.
This place is great if you want to try some unusual varieties of vodka after a late night with friends. The ambiance ain't all that great so wouldn't want to spend a long time sitting here. More like come, dink and go sort of place. The drinks are affordable and the staff is attentive.
I was suggested this place by a friend while I was walking around this area. It is quite hard to locate and did not seem to be very busy, perhaps because of the location. The staff here was very amicable and helped us in ordering off their very varied menu. The drinks were very delicious and very reasonably priced. I love this place and its drinks! The most appropriate place for enjoying your drinks and an intimate conversations.
This is a small place but it is very good and welcoming.
You have a huge variety of vodka to choose from , my personal favorite is Bison vodka.
The food was also quite good enough and the staff also seemed very attentive . I will be going here again and again because Vodka is true love of my life.
This place has some great vodka flavors and none I have seen elsewhere. The place is not very centrally located but the great concept always manages to draw crowds here. It has very few tables and places to sit, so be sure to get there on time. It is good place to begin a great night!
I am a regular customer here , and by saying that you can make it out that how good it is.
The food is very good and according to me the portions are quite filling as well.
The drink list is very good and you have a lot to choose from.
If you are planning to go here do try polish sausage ,it is highly recommended by me.
We have visited this bar on many different occasions. This place become more vibrant and lively on our each visit. You can enjoy a beer or two with your friends here. We tasted a varied selection of vodkas here as well. Our drinks were accompanied with some bread, bacon with sausage and pickles. Since my first visit i have recommended this place to every one.
To begin with, visited this place a couple of days ago and was amazed at the wide selection on their drinks menu. Polish menu and herring always going together. I highly recommend this bar to everyone! Only suggestion to them would be not to serve vodka shots in plastic glasses, does spoil the taste to some extent!
The bar is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. The service is swift. A lot of young crowd can be seen here enjoying and making merry.
The vodka was pretty cheap and that cheered us up even further. The ambiance of the place is lively and cool.
The decor has been done in a very contemporary way with bar stools and chairs.
The atmosphere was superb and the staff was very affable as well as pretty knowledgeable. They explained all the dishes quite nicely and also told about the ingredients that each dish contained. The drinks were also reasonably priced and I definitely recommend this place. Believe me people, it is definitely worth a visit.
The bar has some of the best selection of vodkas. If you are not a fan of having the clean ones, I highly recommend trying the lemon and blackcurrant flavours. We also tried the potato pancakes and pierogi, which were truly amazing. There is only one small problem, though. The place can get incredibly busy at times and one may be pressed to wait long.
Bar Polski is a great place to discover Poland's finest vodkas, beers and other boozy treats in a fairly basic, laid back environment.
Don't overlook the food, which is tasty and filling...really filling. Provides a good ballast for intriguing vodkas you won't be able to resist trying.
Just writing about it makes me want to go back for the food and well the drinks.
Great place, loads of different types of vodka and some nice pierogi and other simple snacks
Nice pub, and quite a welcome break from the normal pubs around the area. As the name suggests, this place specializes in vodka. I was actually quite surprised to find the types of vodka can exist, this place was an education!
The owner is particularly nice, don't be shy to ask for suggestions if you feel a bit overawed. I really liked the whisky flavoured vodka, as well as the woody one. For munching the sausages are really good and nice value for money.
Recommended!
I was always the sort who having tried the different flavours of Absolut would always fall back to the old classic thinking it's the best, till I went to Bar Polski. This place is a testament that Vodka is surely Polish national drink.
Having seen the menu, I was completely flabbergasted; after all how do decide between vodka which is dry or nice and sweet? To make things easier, we started with a random drink from each section of the menu and by the end, we were hardly coherent enough make it out of "Naria" as reviewer below has rightly called it.
Just as a word of caution, this place is miniscule and located in a non-descript alley. Be prepared to drink in chilly cold weather in the alley and if you plan to get merry, better go in a group so that someone is sane enough to get a taxi for you from the main road.
Finding this place is like finding Narnia !
Ideal for hanging out with friends after work, while enjoying the best Polish vodka available in town. I went there with a Polish friend and we got along very well with the owner and the crowd. I did not try out the food, am not sure if they even serve anything. But I did try a lot of flavored vodka and all of them were quite good. Time runs out very quickly at this place and they have so many drinks to offer, so talk less and drink more !
Excellent selection of beer and vodka. Yummy Polish food. Fantastic and very friendly staff. Highly recommended for great night out or just for quick snack and drink
A nice little pub of a little alleyway. They have big patio doors opening up to the alleyway where there a 2/3 tables outside. The place had about 20 peeps in, and it was cosy. The drink prices were ok for London
Great little place with a good selection of polish vodka
Good beer and good food. The service is good and the staff is polite. The decor is decent and has both indoor and outdoor seating. It's a peaceful place.

This is a great place to eat well and have heaping portions at a very affordable price (it's London cheap). We ate here on our first trip to London. It served as great drunken munchies, serving the additional purpose of preventing a hangover. The Perogies are very tasty and the stuffed Cabbage was out of this world! If getting your booze on is your overarching objective, they have cheap beer on tap and Tyskie, my favorite Polish beer, in a bottle. Stop by while in London.
Located near the LSE campus, Bar Polski is a hidden gem. Incredible Polish food and an even more unique selection of vodka. An absolute must visit!!!
Fabulous small Polish bar in central London. Great selection of drinks, and food is also offered. Not at all pretentious, draws a broad crowd. The team are friendly and knowledgeable. I will continue to return.
Absolutely delicious food and great selection of infused vodkas. The service is timely and kind. A hidden precious gem in the area!
Great potato pancakes with selection of 3 sauces. Bottle of Pino Grigio cost as little as £19! Can't get any cheaper near Holborn Station.
I like people working in this place. There's wide selection of Polish beers, including ones from my home town. The food is quite ok, though regional differences give me this "not home made" feeling. But the share plate of potato pancakes is a great idea loved by all of my non Polish friends.
After the pandemic the yours of operation had changed, so did the menu, unfortunately. The good food is still there, though in smaller quantities and there are less to choose from the menu.
