We had our sons First Holy Communion celebration on a Sunday afternoon. Food was great ! Management and Staff are all top notch 10 out of 10 for service and atmosphere. 10 kids had staff working overtime and always with a smile on their faces. Highly recommended. Thanks again to Jonathan and his team for fantastic day. 👍👍👍👍👍

Really enjoyed the re-launch opening party night. It was great to see The Royal Oak playing host to such a big crowd that enabled it to really show off the capacity, flow and diversity of its places and spaces. A big thumbs up to the management and staff for keeping up with supply and demand. it was heartwarming to see the owner building his biceps lugging trays of dirty and clean glasses upstairs and downstairs - and still smiling and having time to chat! So far so very good. Let us trust that this time both the pub and the community support each other well into the future. Who's for Sunday lunch?

Great Pub in Harlesden , just what is needed round here . Had a few meals here , very nice especially the Chips . A bit pricey , but food and service great. Only gripe .... A different choice of Stout other than Guinness

An impressive improvement by the new owners, although it does feel a bit like a chain pub now (which it is) - making it feel a bit cold and artificial for Harlesden.

Food is good though and definitely worth a visit.
Portions are generous and I never finish my plate.
Had a great roast here and the ribs are also excellent.

Staff have always been very friendly and attentive.

I recommend asking to sit upstairs if you're eating as it is a really nice view over Harlesden and is a nice environment.

It is also a very nice place for a drink and has a lovely garden area for the summer.

In terms of parking, avoid it like the plague. It's hard to find street parking!

I have eaten here now on two occasions and had drinks a few times too. The first time I went to eat, I had the Sunday Roast a very generous serving and delicious. The second time I ate here I had the Cajun Prawn skewer. A huge disappointment six prawns for £14 and these were dry and shrivelled up. On a positive note their potato chips are good. Service is hit and miss. They do a very good spicy Bloody Mary.

Lovely old pub with a cute little beer garden. Booked a Sunday roast and it was delicious. Top marks to our waitress Ines too who was charming and attentive and took time to check with the chef over unusual allergens. Couldn't ask for more.

Royal Oak is a great pub located in Harlesden. It was our first time trying a Sunday roast and it did not disappoint. The staff was really helpful and kind. They also have a pub quiz every Sunday which was a very fun atmosphere to be a part of and the person hosting it was really good and funny. Would recommend Royal Oak if you're in the area.

Came on a Sunday to watch an exciting football live match. They have screens here at a few corners and the atmosphere is great. We had a Sunday Roast (had everything! From scotch egg to nice potatoes to meat really a bit of everything) And also seabream fish with broccoli. Quite delicious and the sauce was nicely mixed. To top we also had a Gin & Tonic. They have many types here. Anyways worth coming! One of the best pubs in the area hands down.

This will now be my local pub, starts with the Manager very welcoming, and making sure everyone is being looked after and then the staff are exactly the same. Sunday roast was delicious. Highly recommend coming here!

Great pub overall -- excellent food (highly recommend the small plates offerings), friendly and efficient staff, fair prices, and a very chilled ambience. Often has live music. Cool beer garden in the back, including a terrace overlooking the busy but fascinating Harlesden high street. Became my favourite pub in northwest London.

I wish there were more categories of rating. Dining - 5/5 I got a slow braised Devon Lamb Shoulder and it was exquisite and distinguished. The only thing that's was not perfect was spinach. Wine - red malbec, Nieto - wonderful and absolutely suited to lamb 5/5. Staff? 4/5. They spilled some wine while pouring it. Atmosphere? 5/5 a classical English pub. Bonus for a doggo 😉 oh, and a second dish was a bit dry. Except from a few inconveniences - a great place

Great experience, food was delicious and the staff is really friendly and chatty. 3 small plates for £20 was enough for 2 people and prawns were outstanding! Imogen gave us a great service and we were served super quick! Definitely will be back soon!

The food continues to be very good. The only downside on this is trip they had run out of fish and chips (a British pub staple). Have yet to be disappointed with the food. It was very quiet for a Saturday evening. Will be going back.

This is a really nice place with beautiful interiors and cosy beer garden. Not too expensive, you can have a pint or a couple with friends. Nice choice of beers. Today's steak with garlic butter was awesome! You can clean up your mind here, have a rest after a busy day. Its really worth to come here. Ahhh. And the stuff: really nice crew, you can always count on them! All the best guys!

Really nice place with great food Hand made burger. Impeccably clean with a friendly team Second Visit - If anything they surpassed last visit in food terms absolutely awesome and at £20 unbelievable value. I had the 3 small plate deal which includes 3 cooked chips. Could not finish it easily enough for two for lunch. And again the staff were brilliant

Wow. Had the pleasure of visiting the Royal Oak this Sunday for the first time, and all I can say is we will definitely be coming back. The roast is absolutely incredible - and that gravy… another level. Amazing food and lovely service. What more could you ask for.

My husband and I recently moved to the area and were recommended to try The Royal Oak for a Sunday roast…well it certainly didn’t disappoint, it was outstanding and we couldn’t be happier that this is our new local! A must try, lovely staff, service and ambiance, what’s not to love. Thank you for a lovely Sunday roast!

Great Victorian pub with all the right balance of choices. Proudly showing some brickwork & original tile mosaics without feeling industrial. 95% of main bar is unspoilt classic, not too dark nor too bright. 5% is modern kitchen doing really good grub. A couple of big TVs for sports but not on by default. Good background music - in the background. Gents has a Belfast sink & a Dyson hand-dryer. Upstairs function suite is gorgeous. Used for live music, comedy & anything you like.

Probably one of the best Sunday roasts served in London. Fresh and hot and a really nice and big portion which tasted great. Reasonably priced too. Friendly staff and a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. Thanks for a great time!

Lovely pub with nice offers during the week and lovely atmosphere. A little paradise in the middle of Harlesden. We had a couple of burguers that were delicious and it was nice and cosy. We'll surely go back on a weekend.
