Went for my Husband's birthday with a group of 25 ppl was one of the best restaurants I've been to with scenic views
After reading reviews I was hesitant but was pleasantly surprised the staff were very friendly & helpful although closing time was 10:30pm they let us stay till 12:00am
The set menu was £35 per head we had a good choice and the portions were good
Would definitely recommend this Resturant and will be having more parties here

We were a party of 10. Greeted by the Manager at the door who showed us to our table. Very friendly. Gave us a table fir our burthday cake. Brought some balloons for the birthday girl. The owner came by wanting to take pictures of our party, which was strange as he only had his phone. Food was fantastic, as were the cocktails. They kept us topped up with water without us asking. Would definitely recommend.
One of the best places in London to enjoy food and ambience and all that for a good price.

Went for afternoon tea - suburb service and great location, the chocolate martini was delicious and an overwhelming scrumptious variety of treats for us to share! Definitely recommend!

Starter: King Scallops- Seared perfectly and tasted great
Main: Baked honey glazed whole Sea Bream- The bream was lovely and the marinade was just right as it wasn't too sweet. You receive roughly 4/5 roast potatoes and pak choi....tbh by the time I got home i was really hungry again- but that could just be me!
Lovely ambiance, especially at night with the lights looking over the Thames.
Pricey but with the 50% applied when you buy two courses evens it out, because the foods not worth £50+ for just one course.
The Food was amazinggggggggggg! Beautiful location with great views. Visited the restaurant for my birthday and it was great! The prawns starter was mouth watering! As well as the main.
I'm sure this won't be the last time they'll see me 😉

Ok but not super. The doorman who greeted us was really kind and made us feel welcome.
The food was quite OK and well prepared. The service though really lacked. They did not notice we wanted two glasses of Cava and only gave us one. There were no napkins, and when asking about the cheese the answer was poor and not informative.
The service was very good, the staff attentive and friendly.
The quality of sandwiches and cakes was excellent, lovely scones, clotted cream, pastries and chocolates. Far too much was served but they were happy for me to take away some of the food that we had not touched, and kindly popped a few extra bits in the bag!
This hotel would be ideal for a visit during a sunny day, as it has a lovely terrace right on the river.

Love this place its like my second home. I recommend the lamb curry it is to die for! A big thank you to the team at banyan! Medine foisal and nahfida. Honestly I would not come if it was not for there amazing service and hospitality! So sad to be hearing foisal is leaving good luck on your new job! Thanks

Sunset dinner was the best experience and we had exceptional service! The food is nice but could have more variety of the mains
Attended a baby shower in there outdoor space which was great as it was super hot that day.
Main course was really nice also with large portions. However was a little disappointed with the apple tart there was barely any tart base, which it the best part!
It's in a nice location overlooking the river, however can get quit noisy when the helicopters are landing.
Banyan on the Thames is an amazing place to visit and dine! The view of the river and sunset is truly remarkable. They have amazing service and really flavourful dishes. We had a range of food, from seafood to chicken. Great spices! Highly recommend it if you love good food and enjoy patio & beautiful view of the river!
Absolutely wonderful experience. I had my 30th birthday dinner here and the service, setting, food and location are fantastic! The staff are very polite and friendly and there are so many lovely places for photo ops with beautiful backgrounds all around and the river right outside! Highly recommend and would go again!
I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. I booked for a large party and they accommodated to everyone needs. We could pre-select our food before we came. So when we arrived we didn’t have to wait long to have our starter, main and desert. The food was delicious and the drinks were lovely. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, especially for events and special occasions, the atmosphere was also good. Food and drinks very affordable and had great size and portions. The manager Masood was also very helpful and friendly.
Great location with Thames view and sunset scenery over the River. The food is very tasty with a good variety to cater for any preferences. Total bill will come as a pleasant surprise because the prices are very affordable. Highly recommend to stop for there for lunch, dinner or cocktails.
Nice place right by the river. Food was excellent. I had the salmon with extra fresh veg instead of potatoes. My wife had two starters the calamari and prawns in garlic sauce, she said they were both excellent.
Knocked one star off because it felt a bit bleak and empty due to lack of customers.
Prices were very reasonable and the service was very good too.
Have been here a few times before booking it for my birthday. The manager arranged a private section of the restaurant for me and allowed me to bring my own music. It was beautiful. The food is lovely and the staff are so accommodating. I had the lamb chops very nicely seasoned but I did need to order some extra vegetables. The hotel rafayel and its restaurant Banyan on the thames is such a hidden gem I can't recommend it enough. The decor is perfect for photographs with flower walls. I now visit it quite frequently and has beautiful views overlooking the Thames. I have also booked an afternoon tea with spa access for a previous birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it. A must visit!!
This was my first visit, and a real surprise . I ordered lamb chops they were divine . Good diverse selection of dishes. My friend had the angus steak and tempura prawns as starters. freshly prepared served with exotic mango based sweet chilli sauce. The music and river bank with late sunset even in end Sept is a bonus.
