The best pub in Maida Vale by far. The staff is fantastic. The food is execellent and the beer selection top notch. A must see if you’re in the area.
Lovely place. Amazing brunch options (any egg dish is divine), just the right amount of pints n wine options. Small and casual; nice, helpful staff.
The best pub food and nicest staff in London! Cara and the team did an amazing job at our wedding and helped to make our day a totally magical one!x
Nice place to relax and enjoy good coffee, beer, wine, and food.

I hosted my 30th birthday party at the Elgin and couldn’t recommend it enough. We had a truly brilliant evening. The food and drinks were seriously delicious and the staff could not have been more accommodating for us. The upstairs space where we had the party is really beautiful and I can see how perfectly it would work for wedding receptions too. Communication with the venue about various requests ahead of the evening was also answered promptly and helpfully. We received brilliant feedback from all our guests and would definitely come back for another event here, or just to enjoy the pub on a normal day!
We hired the top floor of The Elgin for our Wedding Reception recently and were absolutely amazed with the service received. The whole team behind the scenes were incredible at communicating with as ahead of the big day to ensure that everything was as we wanted. They answered all of our questions very quickly and decorated the space beautifully. On the day the food was absolutely brilliant - all of our guests commented on how delicious it was. We had around 30 guests for the reception and 30 more joined for the evening. The space was perfect for this amount of people. The team were so accommodating and made our day incredibly special. Thank you to all at The Elgin!
Nice pub in central North West of London. Came in the afternoon to meet a friend on Sunday and they had space at the back. Were happy to let me sit and read with a coffee for a while, taking up a table before the friend joined. We ordered a toast with eggs/avocado which was good value. Both were roughly £10 each when they could otherwise have been £12+. A few young family's came to spend the morning there in a larger table - it was nice that they could do this.
Staff is attentive, and food is delicious. Baked goods and breads come from a local bake shop. Loads of vegan and vegetarian options. I had farm fresh eggs on a large piece of sourdough toast, fantastic!
Loads of coffee and tea options.
Yeast free menu... Humus and sour dough bread was tasty. But it is small portion.
Chips are also good.
Had my leaving do here 2 weeks ago … the best roast dinner WE’VE EVER HAD !!!! Honestly phenomenal ❤️

Went there in the morning to get coffee (which was great) and came back for dinner. Elgin is a very cozy and chill pub with amazing food. Had the lamb rump with potato and peas with a hint of mint which was fantastic. The steak bavett is also wonderful.
What a cozy spot, with great food! We popped into this restaurant on our recent holiday and we're pleasantly surprised by what we found. Great food, cozy atmosphere and reasonably priced. We could tell it was a local hangout from some of the relaxed banter we took in. I loved the vibe of the place. Very relaxed and warm. We would definitely return.
A great local pub. They have a very good beer selection - I personally like the session IPA. One of the best burgers in the area, good coffee in the weekends, and an excellent Sunday roast 😋👌

Beautiful pub in a lovely area, nice view of park. Super easy access from Maida Vale underground (1 minute walk). Great selection of beer and food absolutely delicious. Best of all were the super friendly staff who were just gorgeous. If you want to get out of the madness of central London for some tranquility, great food and ale, come here. From here take a wee 15 minute walk to Abbey Rd for the photo op!
Lovely pub. Full of atmosphere and buzz. Came here as my brother was renting upstairs for his birthday. It was a fun space, with lil fairy lights and large open windows. Bar service was quick and the staff were nice.
Great place - pretty spacy, great service, great music, super helpful and nice staff
We attended a great wedding celebration here!
The perfect London wedding venue :)
We hired out the whole of the Elgin for the evening do of our wedding - Mags, David, Cara and the team were absolutely brilliant and the venue worked perfectly. They were super flexible with letting us choose the layout of the pub and bringing in our own decorations. They set-up everything exactly as we had imagined and the team were absolutely brilliant on the evening. Everyone loved the food and we had loads of complements on the venue choice.
Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to host a wedding, birthday or large get-together with friends!
Nice and cool. a great addition to the Maida Vale area. Cool and friendly staff - think they are all students making a living. the coffees are very well done and a very high quality. the menu is great and delicious, especially the breakfast brunch menu which is my favourite time of the day to come here. great ceiling heights. old skool feel. recommended.
Great bar, great range of beer including their own. Staff really welcoming
Football was one as well
Friendly staff who offer table service and a nice, buzzy atmosphere. Gin & Tonic menu was good, and the appetizers (salted almonds and olives) where great. Had the cheeseburger for main which I enjoyed, though it wasn't the best burger in the world.
