We had the pleasure of attending a pre-opening sitting at this unique style restaurant and we were certainly not disappointed!
I had read a few online reviews and in all honestly I was feeling a little confused about what to expect. It is described as a "Department store of Dining" and now I have been, I completely understand this as it has something for everyone; two bars, a downstairs grill restaurant, private dining or corporate meeting area (with a hidden screen behind a high quality wooden panel so only visible when needed) and an all day dining counter. All this and they also as a separate coffee/deli shop!
We were greeted on arrival by very friendly staff who took our coats and showed us to the bar area. When our table was ready we were shown downstairs whilst a lovely lady carried our drinks down for us.
Our waitress took our order on a small tablet and this is where i get very excited.... after taking our drinks order she clicked "send" and while halfway through our food order our drinks arrived!!! I was so impressed as a pet hate of mine is waiting ages for your drinks and in some places they arrive after the food! This has clearly been cleverly thought out with input from people in the food & beverage industry!!
All dishes are delivered on a lovely wooden trolley but to start you off you get to select your choice of chives/herbs that get mixed with olive oil for your selected bread. Such a great, personal touch!
The food was beyond amazing!! To start we had the Steak Tartare which was mixed with our choice of pepper, gherkin or mustard and with a quails egg on top! (you choose what you want and how much and they mix it together there and then). It tasted fantastic.
There was a great selection of mains from
Meat, fish and salads. We both went for our favourite; 10oz Rib Eye with a side of mac & cheese. Speaking to staff we discovered that their Steak is Ashdale Beef sourced directly from the West Country. In plain English, it is not sold in many places and it literally was the best steak we have ever tasted!!!! Highly recommended if you do visit (which you should!).
For dessert I had the Decadent Chocolate cake. It looked more like a cookie but had all the taste and texture of a professionally baked cake made by their specialist on-site pastry chef! My partner had the Warm Winter Crumble with custard, he was a little dubious about the almonds but thoroughly enjoyed it (I had to beg for a taste!!).
The Kitty Hawk has incorporated many old London elements like the decor, the trolleys and uniforms but also has many modern elements combined.
I highly recommend a visit and am confident that you won't be disappointed. We cannot wait to go back!!!!
Amazing dining experience, fantastic food combinations and flavours, knowledgeable and helpful staff and really great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stylish venue, great service and a diverse menu in the city.
Kitty Hawk has all good things in one place.....really enjoyed the Brasserie area with lots of sharing dishes to enjoy with the very well chosen selection of wines and cocktails.
They have a great bar area and the music is subtle so you can still enjoy your company. The main restaurant also has a private dining area and the steak is highly recommended...the whole place feels relaxed whatever you choose, from breakfast, brunch, through to dinner or late night treats - this is why it is called the complete dining experience....
Staff are all amazing, with great enthusiasm and a smile.
Will definitely be a regular visitor, thank you Kitty Hawk and its inspired management team!
Amazing venue, stunning decor, fab food and great service, music lively but not too loud for the restaurant section. New York vibe in London! Fresh concept for the city, will be back
Beautiful surroundings very friendly staff. Great food. Definitely worth another visit.
Could not fault anything about this place!
Went for a meal and both the food and service was excellent.

Great food, excellent value for money. Staff and service was great. Will def be going back and recommend Kitty Hawk
I recently visited The Kitty Hawk for dinner, in the heart of the city. It describes itself as an ‘all-day destination for those with a love of food, drink and discovery, infused with a heady blend of London cool and New York glamour’ with five bespoke dining experiences under one roof: The Bar & Kitchen, The Restaurant, The Coffee Bar & Patisserie, The Bar and The Private Dining Room.
Came here on recommendation from a friend. It's a really nice looking bar but well hidden. Service was very attentive and constantly checking if we needed drinks etc and topping up our wine and water. Food options were very unique and catered for vegetarians. The curried cauliflower was really nice and the squash was good except small so definitely order a side with it. The ginger sticky pudding was amazing and would come back just for that alone!
The reason why I think this place is particularly great is on a Friday, be rest assured to get 50% off your food and drinks bill if you book a table prior to your event. We went as a large group of friends and primarily spent quite a bit on wine and booze and of course food, and we were surprised that the discount actually applied. The food wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. We ordered the meat platter and separate smaller bites. The vibe is great for a night out in London. You are guaranteed to receive good service, great music and if you are around the right crowd, you will have a great time.
Kitty Hawk has become one of my top spots in London. Very good service, nice atmosphere and decor, food was okay, wine knowledge of staff was amazing. Nice background music too for the dancers among us. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.
Great food, but small portions. Good price for drinks with good selection. Friendly and attentive staff with a nice ambience.
Fantastic night in the lower level playing bingo. All for beginners but a lot of fun. Drinks and food available. The bingo academy really make sure everyone has a good time. Would highly recommend and I'll be going again.
The food was great although on the small portion side for some of the mains such s the chicken leg and mash as I couldn't much meat off the chicken leg. The deserts hit the spot though. Great drinks too!
The rib eye steak was nice but for £30 not big enough for that amount of money, given you are in a restaurant with no view however in prime location that's somewhat appropriate. Chianti was nice and green Nocellara olives were very good
Excellent experience and stunning venue. Attended a wedding reception here. Modern, relaxed bar and dance floor area upstairs, and generous private dining room downstairs. The food was absolutely incredible. Due to dietary requirements, I had the dairy free dessert - was even better than the dairy alternative everyone else had! Loved this venue and it's very friendly and helpful staff. Very classy venue all round
Really nice, upmarket bar, but easy to spend a lot of money! Given the location, it's not really a surprise that they aim at the slightly more wealthy punter. The the staff were great, drinks were good (nice cocktails!) , food was good too. Really enjoyable.
Causal dining with very good food. For lunch this place really ticked most of the boxes, a relaxed atmosphere with well presented pub fare. If you get past the slightly pretentious descriptions on the menu you are left with very tasty food in a bright and airy setting. The service was excellent and friendly. Just remember they are closed at weekends.
