First time visiting Benihana in London for my birthday, and can't fault it one bit! Our waiter couldn't have been more attentive, nothing was too much to ask for.
The highlight for us was our chef. From start to finish, he was making us laugh, doing tricks and cooking us our delicious food.
This wasn't just dining. This was an experience. One that we'll be back again for!
It was my first time in this kind of restaurant and i could say that it was a really nice experience with all this live cooking. When the chefs do all these tricks, it's so good. The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly. Definitely, I'll go again to try more different flavours, and I highly recommend this restaurant
We had a great time here, I wish we had ordered more food so we could have had a longer show. The service we got was very personal, kind, and prompt.
If you mention in your booking that it's for a birthday you'll get a song and a brownie.
I was hoping for a nostalgic walk down
Memory Lane, harkening back to my first Benihana experience in NYC in the 80’s.
Instead, it felt like nothing had changed and it was therefore, dated and gimmicky.
We all love flames and dramatic teppanyaki techniques but our chef must have performed his routine thousands of times.
A renovation, staff revitalization, a few modern twists to the menu and Benihana Chelsea could become quite the experience!
I recommend the lobster and the hibachi rice (fried with egg & scallion)
The chateaubriand was a bit bland.

We had a very positive experience. The chef was super funny and interactive. We can highly recommend this restaurant.
Great service and amazing chef, the chef cooked on the table and served everyone exactly what they ordered. The waitress was also extremely helpful and kind, overall a brilliant experience.
Amazing time, went for my birthday and had best time ever. First time in this kind of restaurant, such great service and chefs. Will Smith went there !!!
Nice atmosphere even though it's not traditional. You'll be seated st the bsr in case you're waiting for others to arrive, once they arrive, you'll be seated. You will be seated at shared grill tables where the dedicated chefs will prepare everyone's food. Tenderloin steak was beyond perfection
No wheelchair access.
It’s a thrill to be say so close to such skilled and wonderful chef’s. The humour they splice into the skills they demonstrate is a must visit experience. The food that result is awesome - Shogun feast 👍🏾. Be prepared, unless you’re in a group of 8, to share a table. Nevertheless, an experience highly recommended.
We were served by the lovely Angelo. The show he put on was so memorable, we loved it! Would definitely go back for the food and the vibe and especially for Angelo!
