Had a really great brunch here, the Crab Burrito was top notch and not something you see elsewhere. Portion sizes were filling, and service was attentive. Prices are as expected for the area and being inside a hotel.

We had the crab burrito, egg quesadilla and sea beam tacos. The crab burrito had a really good portion is crab for 22 pounds. The egg quesadilla was the perfect scrambled eggs with a slight crunch and went well with the dips. The guac was well seasoned. The sea beam taco had such a good chilli relish, sweet with a ting of spice. Really loved the ambience with good lighting. Loved the sweet potatoes fries

I have come here a few times before for breakfast or brunch. I came today after a while and my experience was still very nice. One of the many restaurants located in the The Ned. Malibu Kitchen is hidden at the back and quite small, but has a lovely atmosphere. I normally make a booking but walked in today and it was pretty quiet on a Saturday afternoon which was likely to be because of the weather being warm so everyone was outside! I enjoyed the peace and nice atmosphere. Lovely menu. Not huge but more than a sufficient choice for brunch including eggs, pancakes, taco, poke, juices, smoothies and more. I had the egg white omelette with basil, chive and tarragon. This was really good. Freshly made, well presented, fluffy and healthy! A nice light breakfast. To drink, I had one of the smoothies which was lovely. I will say, portion sizes for some dishes can be small. This was fine for me as I am a tiny eater. Others may find that they want more. Malibu Kitchen is a good place if you want something light and reasonably healthy. Don't expect as another reviewer commented and I agree, food that will blow you away. This is more good food, a safe option. As the name of the restaurant suggests, think California! Lovely atmosphere and on Saturday there is usually live light jazz type music that starts around noon which is great. You can't see the music stage from Malibu Kitchen but you can hear the music. Some of the other restaurants in The Ned have a good view of the stage if you want to be closer to the music. Restaurant is very clean. Malibu Kitchen is more cozy and has a brasserie type feel. You don't need to dress up so much but look neat. Service is good. Staff are pleasant. Small negative is that they can be a little too attentive. It would be nice just to be left to relax. Food comes out quickly once you order. They display calories as well which is helpful. Not too badly priced given location and venue. Would definitely recommend. I would suggest booking as well.

Really fantastic brunch with fresh-tasting feel for both food/drinks. As a coffee lover, their coffee is absolutely wonderful, so do recommend. The menu is limited and a bit pricey, but still a worthwhile meal. The restaurant is within the Ned, so you may catch some live music in the centre as you eat - do take a look around the ground floor!

Stopped by chance for breakfast and we’re not disappointed! Cosy, little intimate cafe set within the lobby of the Ned. Food was fantastic quality - we’d recommend the Malibu omelette. Some interesting alternative lattes on offer too, the beetroot cacao latte was inspired.

Excellent, friendly service. Lovely venue and menu, the Poke bowl was delicious. Bench seating a little close together and the people either side of us seemed quite loud.

I am always up for healthy and light meals, specially if it is at an elegant place, with a nice live music in the background - coming from the center area of The Ned - and that was my feeling with Malibu Kitchen. A lot of Vegan and Vegetarian options, salads, fresh food, good drinks.

The setting is undeniably amazing. We had brunch, the menu had plenty of variety although the drinks menu was more interesting. The fish in the tacos was a little lacking in execution but other than that the food was good.

Great place for a healthy lunch with variety of salads, raw food as well as cured fish. Nice to visit the NED and enjoy the buzz in the City on a Sunday. Love the cosy booths for 2 and the beautiful plates of fresh, vibrant food! Went for a brunch and shared the Avocado dip, with Taro crisps and vegetable crudities as a starter. Followed by a naughty tasty Cheeseburger, made with grass-fed beef in a potato bun with fries. My guest had the “Brick” chicken, grape, tomato, spicy yogurt, basil which was spicy and filling. Finished with a delicious Raw Chocolate cake which was an avocado and chocolate cake on a base of dates with raspberry sauce.

Went there for late lunch on a Sunday. The place is nice and crowded. It is part of a hotel called NED and is one of the several restaurants you have there. It is a sharing concept and you can easily do with 2 to 3 plates per person. I recommend the pancakes as they are a real highlight, the sea bream tacos that are quite nice and the granola.
