Wonderful place....we have been going there for years and every time enjoy it enormously! Delicious food and lovely service! We love Darek, he is the most adorable and attractive host! Thank you! To be honest we like all the staff there, they are like our family friends!
My dog Benjimen was treated like a human! And team did not treat us like dog! A bit unfair, Benjimen got free meal before we have the meal we ordered!
So, I've had my 1st bday, 18th, 21st and now 30th birthday at Montpeliano!! Yet again another amazing meal. Thank you to Antonio, Pino, Derek (lungo), Derek and staff for looking after us. Impeccable service and top food as always

Fantastic! Beautiful restaurant off the Main Street, so it's quiet and charming. Service was very, very good. Food was excellent. The tomato soup is incredible.
Located just opposite door 9 if harrods, it's ideally located for a spot of lunch or an early dinner if you've been traipsing round the store for a few hours. Service is typically Italian, but it feels relaxed and you never feel as though you're being rushed. However, I think they need to freshen the place up a bit - food's good, price ok considering its knightsbridge. I'll continue to go there as it's ideal for kids and you know it won't be spectacular, but it won't disappoint either.
Loved it!. I went there with my boyfriend, who is Italian and we both had an very lovely evening.
The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. We had Antipasti, which was a nice selections of tasty meats, cheese and olives.
As main I had Risotto and my boyfriend went for Spaghetti Vongole, which we really enjoyed and was followed by Tiramisu and Bread and Butter Pudding, which was both very divine.
The stuff was very helpful by choosing which dish to go for and very attentive.
We really liked the decor of the restaurant with a mix of family pictures and signed photographs, such as Justin Timberlake.
I would deferentially return to this restaurant and I have recommended it also to my friends.
Best Italian restaurant in Knightsbridge. I've been going there for more than 18 years
For our last dinner in London, we ended up at Montpeliano. In fact, we were not planning on going there, but just found this place as we were going to Harrod's to see the Holidays' decorations. So here we are in this restaurant that had an old fashioned atmosphere rendered mainly by walls full of black and white photos of celebrities like Frank Sinatra. The menu offers traditional Italian dishes. So, as it was after we had our treat at Fortnum and Mason, we decided to go light... Jodi ordered some homemade tagliatelles with a butter and parmesan sauce. The pasta were fantastic: soft and eggy. The sauce was to die for! Creamy and tasty. On my side, I ordered my test dish: linguine a la Vongole. What is funny is that I always ask for parmesan and the waiters always look at me as if I have 3 heads! The pasta were perfectly cooked, al dente. The clams tasted fresh and there was a nice quantity of it. Last was the broth: I always ask the white one, that is made with white wine. It was deli
Have been here for my birthday 3 yrs in a row now. Love this warm, cosy restaurant & always feel welcome by the attentive staff. Food is delicious & plentiful, we had lobster linguine & seabass this time. Had a leisurely meal & a most enjoyable evening. Will be back !
They forgot about us even though it was quite quiet but otherwise it was nice. Only one halal chicken item and careful of the Parmesan

Great lunch. Happened upon this place. Would have gone for dinner. Ravioli perfect and sliced veal topped with a tuna sauce may sound odd but was an excellent dish. This place gives you creativity and experience not comfort food. Get your chicken parm elsewhere.
Lovely restaurant with delicious authentic Italian good quality food - staff are friendly and attentive and service is very professional. A favourite with family, friends and business colleagues. I don’t understand the negative reviews although I can say that, sadly, as a Knightsbridge changes beyond recognition, I have increasingly noticed rude, impatient and demanding customers in Montpeliano.
Food is excellent. Really enjoyed the place. Service may be a bit slow but the food is beyond expectations. This is the best Italian restaurant I've been to outside Italy.
