Food was amazing!!! Ramen and octopus pancakes were so delicious and fresh. I ordered the vegan (don’t do a veggie) noodle dish and asked for an egg and they warned me that the egg was marinated in fish sauce which I really appreciated but I’m a pescatarian so was not problem but great to have been
Tasty Ramen. Friendly and excellent service. There was a small queue but we got seated quickly . I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, the meat was tender and delicious. Noodles and soup base are to die for. And I really love the eggs! Perfection all in a bowl.
I used to be a regular here pre Covid and visited again for a light lunch recently. The place is still the same friendly atmosphere with good food. I did miss the frozen Kirin beer which they used to have on this visit as they no longer serve it. I’ll be back when I’m in the area again.
Small and compact but service was fast and excellent. Menu wasn't huge but enough for everyone to find something to eat. The food tasted great and the best part was the value for money. 2 starters and 2 mains and a beer...all for around £40...that's a bargain in my books.

You can order through your phone and it comes fast. By the way when you order on your phone you immediately pay, so whenever you just want to get up and leave -you can. Nice waitresses!
Great tasting ramen which comes out quick. Ramen has a good depth of flavour but don't expect anything like what you get in Tokyo.

Super busy if you visit even close to lunch hour. So this means waiting for a table.
As a solo diner I was sat at the back facing the bar and it was rather full and loud.
Getting service is therefore a slight challenge in busy periods.

The Ramen was great, strong garlic flavour and very thick Broth 😋 the pork belly slices were perfectly cooked so melts in the mouth straight away. Missus had the Miso Ramen which had nice thick cut pork and flavourful as well. Had a nice bottle of Japanese White Ale to go wash it down 🍺

Honest Review: We had a great experience overall. The only outlier was the pulled pork bao bun which lacked sauce and flavour. I would recommend coming to Shoryu and try their Ramen and delightful selection of Japanese drinks.

Lovely place ! Staff was friendly, we use QR code So easy to order. Or you can talk with waiters, up to you. Takoyaki was Great and freash! Love it (burn my tounge little bit after first bite) , Dumplings little bit burned and not evy impresed (carefull still sizzling in hot iron pan), RAMEN !! Wa
The service and the energy of the place is fantastic. We really loved our ramens in terms of flavour and texture. The only observation is that I would prefer a chicken not fried.
