I will still give a four star even though we werent happy at the end. Despite having two email confirming the birthday candles and confirming again when we seated, they didnt arrange anything at the dessert while other three parties in the restaurant had the birthday celebration from the staff. We were offered a round of digestive but to be honest our mood was ruined. The food was amazing and our server was very attentive. It was all perfect until we know we were left out.
Fantastic meal last night at Brunswick House. Ambience and setting was amazing. The food was great without being fussy. Our waiter, Arthur, was the consummate host, effortlessly charming. Really good drinks too. The roasted pumpkin with ricotta and za’atar was my favourite but the wing rib with beer mustard was delicious too. Overdid it with dessert and dessert wine and needed a buscomint when I got home, but that was my fault.
Very intense and interesting taste combinations, small portions to share. Great service. Restaurant filled up at around 2pm (Sunday)
Was here for an intimate wedding reception and it was SUPERB! Surroundings are amazing, so eclectic... and the food was incredible. Staff were so friendly too. Recommend this place wholeheartedly
Food is Amazing, but portions were perhaps a little small. The food and drink taste absolutely brilliant and every mouthful was a joy, I just wish there was more to each plate.
The locations great and the decor is very good.
Really helpful staff and could cater for gluten free with ease!
Amazing food and great staff. We really enjoyed this one and hope to be back.

Very good restaurant in a Georgian mansion two minutes walk from Vauxhall Station. The building houses LASSCO an architectural salvage company and one finds oneself seated in a room with dozens of grand chandaliers hanging from the ceiling and old theatre posters adorning the walls.
The food is very good and there is an excellent wine list. The menu comprises half a dozen tasty morsels, six or seven starters, four main courses and two dishes which can be shared among two or three people.
Great food, wine and atmosphere, both indoors and in the garden. So glad this building is preserved. Be prepared to pay a little bit more than usual but I thought it was worth it as a special noght out. The potato bread was dreamy.
Very nice restaurant with cool decorations and atmosphere! The service was great as well!
Definitely recommend the rare beef! We’ll come back.
There’s nothing on this menu I wouldn’t have eagerly ordered, and everything I did was faultless. If anything I could’ve taken a course less, but even with the four I chose - the devilled eggs, potato bread, kale on chestnut purée and pork and shrimp burger, along with a really dry and crisp glass of wine - the bill came to something around 50% less than what i’d have guessed it might. Just a top, top quality lunch in a restaurant accessible to mere mortals.
Added to that, the staff were relaxed and friendly without being at all pushy or sycophantic - just actually *nice* people who seemed pleased that you were there.
Really, everything correct.
Really friendly waiter and great service through the night, and accommodating staff. The food was very interesting and unexpected with the flavours. That being said it was very tasty and enjoyable and we particularly enjoyed the raw beef with bone marrow dish! Only missing a star due to the interior décor as some of it felt worn out etc and environment was a little noisy. But it is expected with the limited space they had.
Will definitely be coming back!
If you love antiques and good food, this is the place to visit. Located on a busy roundabout, tucked away, surrounded by high -rise apartments it's a wonderful old, quaint house. A unique treasure where you can buy a chandelier or a print on its wall. Loved it. The waiter knew his stuff and the dishes were high end. We'll be coming back.
I absolutely loved my dinner experience yesterday. The staff were really friendly and showed they cared for our experience. The food was lovely and very novel, greatly presented and prepared. The setting is beautiful, it’s perfect for a dinner date with a friend or someone else.
The cherry on top was the jazz in the cellar. There is a very intimate space where a quartet performed some of their original works. Had a great evening there.
Beautiful layout with chandeliers and plants hanging from the roof. The food was interesting and tasty. The menu is a bit complicated as I had to search online for several items. Service was really friendly, attentive and knowledgeable!
We came for a mid week lunch and really enjoyed our time. Our waitress made the effort to explain the menu and suggest some favourites. Between the two of us, we shared the raw chalkstream trout (delicious), raw Dexter beef with smoked bone marrow and crispy shallot (really good), Brixham crab noodles (favourite) and the oxcheek with purple sprouting broccoli and smoked mushrooms (oxcheek was slightly dry but the flavour was good). I'm looking forward to coming back to try some different dishes.

Nice food and atmosphere. They change the menu everyday. The staff are friendly and helpful. But the things are a bit overpriced.
A stunning meal in gorgeous listed surroundings. The staff serving us were just right, knowledgeable of thr good and wine, willing to get what we wanted just right. We really enjoyed the meal.
