Delicious Pasta and delicious soft chewy mozzarella!! The pasta i had was a bit hard but taste was delicious, tiramisu was also super nice and service aswell was good. The ambiance is nice aswell very homey, it was quite busy so best make a reservation before hand to avoid waiting.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Service was great. Had the fresh ravioli which was a rather small portion, so decided to order the 250g mozzarella dish after. Very delicious and would eat here again. Also had the grapefruit gin which was delicious.

FODMAP friendly restaurant! The menu is fully garlic and onion free which was great to find. Although the items with gluten weren’t specifically labelled the staff were able to tell us which were suitable and when possible left the bread items on the side so both me and the rest of the table could enjoy it. We had a stew that was absolutely delicious and tried several of the cheeses. It was so enjoyable to go to a restaurant where we could order several plates for the table and I could eat 80% of what we’d ordered. I don’t think most of the food in itself was outstanding, but for anyone on the FODMAP diet (although obviously there’s quite a lot of lactose if you want to go for the main attraction, if you ate meat I still think you’d be fine). The staff were attentive, friendly and very careful to make it clear what I could/couldn’t eat. A large meal of sharing plates for 5, with two beers, two soft drinks, 5 small deserts and a coffee came to about £150 so I don’t think that’s too bad at all. I would love to see some gluten free bread on offer though! Wheelchair access: one small step in to the restaurant which was perfectly manageable in a high chair, tables are good for wheeling under but the toilet is upstairs.

Called in for a coffee and, even though we weren't eating, were made to feel most welcome. This is a great looking restaurant, just off the beaten track and well worth a visit. A nice touch was the mini choc ice served with each coffee.

Really excellent restaurant. Superb service, wonderful food. We had starters 'tapas style' and without exception, all the food was healthy, delicious, fresh and cooked in a good time. Very happy I found this place. Service were excellent too.

I’d love to know a gorgeous Italian restaurant in each neighbourhood – one of those places that puts the cheerfulness back in your day and erase everything with simple but elegant, powerful tastes. Obika definitely is one of those - modern design, lovely wine list, rosemary on the table, discreet staff but excellent on advice and first-class products. They are particularly know for their mozzarella bar that is indeed worth the detour. The smoked mozzarella comes highly recommended...

The place is nice and the food is very good. The only thing that I didn't let me fully happy was that we asked to have the fixed lunch menu but they said we couldn't do it because we were more than 2 or 3 people .. (maybe if we split in two tables we could do it..)

I was a bit sceptical of what exactly a "mozzarella bar" would offer, but it turns out to be pretty damn good Italian food, done right. Unfortunately this Italian authenticity extends to slow service as well, which might not do well for the lunch-crowd, but if you are there to soak up the wine, flavours and sheer-heaven that is the burrata, it wont disappoint.

GREAT food GREAT Service COLD wine. Obica is one of our favourite restaurants where you get the variety of an independent but the consistency of a chain. The South Ken restaurant didn't disappoint.

Lasagna was the best in my lifetime, service is good. It's a bit expensive taking into account the type of restaurant. (3 people, no dessert, £76).

Perhaps it was the frightful weather outside, or the anticipation of what a 'mozzarella bar' was, but when we turned up at Obika and met the smiling faces of our compatriots and a bottle of good red wine it kind of felt a bit like coming home. The place oozes class, and the menu is both perplexing and reassuring at once - there is the standard part (oh my the pizza was incredible) and then the mozzarella bar section which plays the part of the spanner in the works. We went for the 'suck it and see' approach and didn't ask for any real advice past what mozzarella we should choose. It was awesome to say the least; a gorgeous platter of cheese, prosciutto, mini stews and homemade pesto with a healthy side of fresh & peppery salad leaves. The artisan bread really pulled the whole thing together, and honestly I could have eaten cheese for the rest of the evening. But please don't take my word for it (and oh what a fuzzy word it is for I was well oiled by the time we left), go check it out for yourself. Especially if you're a mozzarella fan, it really was sumptuously good.
