Marathon weekend in London so went in for a quick meal and really impressed massy peas with the fish and chips a first but was great - well worth a visit and a stack of beers on tap
Good pub food and great value
This is a really good option for a cheap night out in London. There is a large selection of beer on tap, the menu has something on it to please everyone, the service is fast and the prices are very reasonable.
My traditional breakfast was amazing. Love the hash brown and sausage. However, my toast was cold. Free refill coffee for £1.55,m. I have espresso and americano and they’re pretty good.
London has a food place every other corner of the street . just a minute walk from Holborn underground, Shakespeare's head is a place for a friednly lunch catch up .
we ordered chicken bbq pizza which was very cheesy and tasty and the spicy chicken wings is just Wow.

Love the atmosphere here. With great drinks and good food, they have it all. They have a good selection and drinks and their loaded chips are my favourite. Another good thing is that they mention the calories of every dish in their menu (which can be a good or a bad thing)😋
It was a great experience with friends.. The food was good and beer was total bliss in the cold weather..
İngiltere seyahatimde en beğendiğim restoranlardan biri oldu. Genelde ingilizlerden çok yabancılar ve yabancı öğrenciler geliyormuş buraya nedense bilmiyorum. Fish&Chips artı bir içecek 9 £ idi. Tuzu azdı ama lezzetliydi. Mekan güzel bir daha Londra'ya gitsem Soho'dakine de uğramak isterim :)

Five of us were led here by a friend with specialized local knowledge who recommended this place due to the abundance of seating. It was lunchtime, and we were done for the day, and looking forward to long and leisurely lunch washed down with several pints of beer.
We stepped up to the bar and walked away with several Naked Ladies. We Placed an order for lunch, and I ordered the Ploughmans Lunch. It was well made and I ploughed into it after fetching myself a pint of Abbot Ale which served well to lubricate its passage. It was an agreeable meal, consisting of a generous portion of ham, cheese and fresh bread. The onion relish and Gooseberry chutney were notably excellent, and complimented the meal well.
The place was vibrantly full, despite which we were able to find a table within a few minutes of arriving there. Freemasons hall being located nearby explained the presence of several groups of gentlemen in dark suits and masonic ties huddled around tables, deeply involved in hushed discussion.
The Location is unbeatable; just a couple of minutes walk from Holborn Underground. Its located close enough to Covent Garden, that one can pop in for a drink or three, and still manage to find excellent restaurants nearby if the superb pub grub does not suit your fancy.
Good fish & chips and burgers. Pints were great after an 11.5 hour plane ride from Bangkok. Friendly staff.
Very busy pub on a Thursday after working hours.. although a little less busier at lunch time. We only had a drink on both visits today.. Loving the new Hobgoblin glasses..
Visited previously on 29th June and had as great experience then, as today.
Friendly staff and plenty of room with clean ladies toilets.
Unable to comment on food... but we recommend and will return again..
This No Frills restaurant is part of the Wetherspoon chain in London. There's nothing fancy about it, but it does have adequate food at some of the most affordable prices in the city. Best of all, it has free refills on coffee!
Lovely place, proper British pub! It attracts predominantly old men and students. Great variety of real ales and lagers. One can go for a pub grub here and order something like fish an chips or bangers and mash. Though, prices gone up for beer recently still one can have a pint for reasonable price!
There is no music here only the hum of human sounds

Huge pub with plenty of seating for large groups. Usual Wetherspoon's food offering all with very good pricing for central London it is the place to relax and get fed and watered. Highly recommend the lavazza hot drinks!
Great Wetherspoons with very friendly staff and a lovely cold pint.The interior was very well decorated and had an amazing toilet wall.Worth a visit, if like me, you love everything, spoons.
I’ve been to many Wetherspoons in the UK, and I can say this one has a good mixed grill overall. You may get some bad chewy parts rarely so sometimes it’s a hit or miss. They don't have mashed potatoes so you'll have to choose something else while you're ordering.
This is my wife’s and I favorite spot to eat at London. Prices are great, you get fish and chips with beer for 10 pounds and some change. Not only that but the inside is very spacious and vintage. You can see the towers bridge from inside. And last but not least the food delivery was very prompt. I highly recommend this place.
Great pub in SOHO with wide variety of tap beer and ale to choose from. Might be challenging to sit on the terrace but definitely worth waiting. We can recommend fish and chips as well as chicken wings in Korean BBQ sauce
This pub was a great experience. The food was delivered really quickly and unswerving our tables was always fast.

Good place to stop by after a day out in London. Everything and everyone is good in general. Helpful staff are on hand to assist with a choice of real ales. I even saw a lady celebrating her birthday with her friends here with a bottle of bubbly and they all had meals 😁
This place is kind of okayish, not outstanding for sure. Went there because it is a Wetherspoon branch. Prices were high, but it is understandable, because of the location. The vibe was not great. Overall, I’ve been to many other Wetherspoon branches and this is one of those that I wouldn’t recommend so much. But, the point to be noted is that, it’s a much affordable place compared to the other bars and pubs around that area. So it is atleast not burdensome on your pockets!
Loud and lively. Staff and service first class. We didn't have any food so the 5 star rating is based on assumption it would be as good as the service and atmosphere. Located within 100 yards of Holborn tube so very easy to get to.
