Great place, great food and great service. Enjoy one of the best fish and chips I can remember and feel at home thanks to its waitresses and waiters.

I don't understand why this place is rated so low.
I went there several times, and today it was simply illuminating...
The food was stunning!
I had steak and ale pie, which was served in a modern way...simpli loved it: fresh ingredients, the meat was melting in my mouth and the portion was glorious!
Then I decided to go for dessrt, and I have chosen the fresh fruit crumble: oh my lord! One of the best crumbles in my entire life!

I strongly recommend this place if you want to taste good british food.

A vere lively venue with an international crowd. They've got all your favourite pub classics and more.
I started with the soup of the day which was very good. For the mains I tried to switch it up so instead of battered cod and chips I decided to go for the grilled fish with mash. Big mistake, the portions were minuscule and even in term of quality it was average.
Overall, it was still an enjoyable experience because of the overall atmosphere at the venue. Great place to meet up with friends and meet new people.

My family loved this hotel. The location is so convenient, yet the room was very quiet. There was a very low rumble of trains, but it did not disturb our sleep. We were able to sleep with a window open, which is nice. The room includes a kettle with coffee and tea, which is so nice for starting the day off right. The decor is pleasant. I will definitely consider staying here the next time I am in central London.

Had a lovely afternoon/evening at this pub. Food was great, very good value & huge portions for the money. Very friendly & welcoming staff, nothing was too much! Would highly recommend a visit when your next in or around Paddington!

A simple pub and hotel in the heart of Paddington, on the corner of Spring Street and Craven Road. Plenty of beer on offer both from the keg and cask. This is a card only venue, cash will not work. Lovely people behind the bar, providing fast, efficient and smiley service.van enjoyable pint!

An amazing place. Nothing is to much effort really made to feel like it’s your local. Rio is a massive credit to the team but all the staff are great. If in London this is defiantly a place to visit the food and service is A1

I cannot quite believe how i have not frequented this pub before and was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere, good range of real ales on offer, and excellent bar and table service. Before I forget, I experienced arguably the finest plate of fish and chips i can remember in living memory and I do not make this claim lightly. Pride of Paddington, thank you for making my Saturday afternoon/evening Paddington pub crawl memorable....

Stopped for a quick drink at the bar. Great decor (old post office references) however, while seated at the table, was inundated with fruit black flies settling on us, the table and our drinks. A little annoying, but other than a lovely pitstop.

London prices, that's to be expected however, but what solidified the 5 stars for me was the service. I arrived very frustrated due to some personal issues but always act respectful to staff, this was definitely picked up by them, so I was given service with a smile and some welcome banter resulting in me leaving a happier man than I was earlier. Had some food too (chicken skewers and fried squid) that wasn't anything to write home about but the sauce with the chicken?! Godly. Only because I like coriander however (definitely would suggest toning the coriander down a bit to appeal to a broader clientele) but hey, I paid, I ate, I walked away. All good. Bonus point for being so close to Paddington (railway) Station without being too close.

Lovely themed pub, based on all things railway related. Very satisfying English Full Breakfast.....3 Eggs Wow!!! and all served lovely and hot 🔥. English mustard unavailable though which is a shame. It would be really nice to have that option as well as the French mustard supplied. 😋

Decent pub, food looked very good. I'd probably have had to sell a kidney to order any food, as it cost me £14-60 for two pints!

Great beer selection, not just the ruin of the mill standard seven beers today most "pubs" are offering up these days. Menu was good but they were out of a lot of things. Service was excellent. Beers were good but standard pub temp.

We didn't stay at the Hotel, but we did pop into the Pub our very last night in England. Let's just say, we had a BLAST! The drinks were good, prices were good, the staff was super friendly there, laid back, fun environment. My bestie and I made 4 knew friends that night! It was the perfect place to end our Vacation, a memory I will never forget <3

Pride of Paddington renovated all their rooms. Forgot to took pictures but it is the same as their pictures. The pub food is fantastic. Pub was busy but we didn't hear anything from downstairs. Instead it was other rooms guest slamming their room doors that bothers me. From time to time you can hear the train noise from the Paddington station but I think there is no train between midnight to 6:00 am. I would recommend this hotel. Only concern is if they can have a non emergency contact other than the staffs downstairs. They were soooo busy (it's a Pub close to Paddington station) I couldn't get their WiFi to work. Luckily I do have my UK sim card.

Location by far can't be beat. We took hot showers and walked across the street to the Paddington station to the Heathrow Express this morning, simple. Last night, we had a pint and witnessed a marriage proposal with the fanfare of a British Mariachi band, wow, perfect. Then walked through a door or two to our room.

Had a bit of a revamp from the “Pride” we knew a few years ago but all for the better as it was getting a bit tired. Neck Oil on tap so can’t go wrong. Potato skins and Jack Burger will sort you out. Gone are the days of the eating challenge.
