A cosy little place with authentic Japanese food and everything was just just amazing! The yuzu mochi ice cream was the best! Vegan place but you won’t miss the meat for sure! The staff is very polite and friendly. And as I am finishing I recall the miso aubergine- dengaku! Another recommendation.
Nice vegan Japanese restaurant in Kings Cross.
Food is nice but small portions (mains).
I liked the flavour of the curry and aubergine but found the ramen a little salty.
The mains are reasonably priced but the starters are on the pricer side.
Service is good, friendly staff.
Found the restaurant a
It's a small restaurant but excellent food and service. I am not a vegan but went there with vegetarian friends.
Plum wine aka (red) is sweet and taste like what I expected. I really enjoyed the dumplings, vegan ramen and the mushroom tempura. For me the miso soup, spring rolls and the green spring
Lovely little place serving vegan / vegetarian Japanese food. We enjoyed it here. Only gave it 4 stars as the portions are small and it’s fairly pricey. I think if you go for the ramen options it’s better value.
Great food, cozy vibes, Itadakizen is a paradise for those who want to try Japanese food but with a vegetarian/vegan filter.
Their spring rolls were amazing, tempura was crisp, mapo tofu was soft and juicy, tonkatsu ramen was yummy, and the passion fruit mochi was the perfect ending to a sumptuous
Nicely decorated restaurant that’s small and cosy, limited tables so it doesn’t feel crowded. You definitely need to book ahead if dining at the weekend.
Dishes were well presented and full of flavour. Highly recommend the miso aubergine and creamy Tonkotsu.
Plates are small so you need to order ar
Really enjoyed the food! Seating is limited. We were forced to sit in a corner, even though we came early. Other spaces were available but they were reserved for others who came much later. We did book in advance as well, so not sure why they gave priority to other customers. Otherwise, great vegan
The spring rolls are absolutely to die for. A must have. Possibly the best pastry I've had.
The gyozas were a little plain for my taste, but the dipping sauce was nice.
I had the chilli creamy ramen and it nice. The broth lacked a bit of depth for me. The noodle texture was great and I loved the m
Had a fantastic lunch here - the lunch menu for £15 for a main and side was great value. We had the curry udon and tonkotsu ramen and both were delicious. The spring rolls on the side were the best I've had in a long time. Service was friendly and efficient, with all our food arriving within about 1
An AMAZING vegan meal!!! Inventive and most of all delicious!! There was a warm and cozy atmosphere, and the staff was incredibly kind and patient with our every request. I can't recommend this sweet and authentic place enough! Bonus tip - order the mochi. Trust me.
Thank you Itadaki Zen for showing
Great food and friendly staff. The food comes in tapas so it was great to try different things and sharing them with everyone. My favourite ones were the sushi, the gyoza and the passion fruit mochi.
I would definitely recommend to anyone, even the meat eaters from our great loved it!!
Some of the best ramen I’ve ever had, inclusive of tonkatsu ramen made with real pork. I’ve been vegan for just over a year now and having lived in Seoul previously, I really missed a hot steaming bowl of tonkatsu ramen and this place well and truly delivered!! No wonder it was so packed when I went
Lovely lil place which is fully vegan.
the place itself feels so homey and the food there is great.
I ordered the curry dish that came with rice and vegetables along a side of Tofu steak.
the food came out quickly, the curry sauce was so well seasoned and delicious and the Tofu steak was superb, sof
What a wonderful little hidden gems the food is to die it all vegetarian/vegan and the mochi are so good there isn't a picture of them because I scoffed them 🤤🤤🤤🤤
The most filling and delicious Japanese food I've ever eaten. Such a small place that I'm surprised it's not packed every day! The tofu steak was marinated in a tasty sesame sauce and the spicy creamy ramen packed some heat without being too overwhelming for me. At £15 for a main and starter it's ha
Best vegan japanese restaurant!
The place is a bit small and can be really loud but the food is so great that you don't think about it. All the dishes that we tried were incredible, tasty and light, really well balanced. I'll definitely come back!
Super colourful vegan dishes in a tightly packed restaurant.
The croquettes and oyster mushrooms are must picks, while the pickles and tempura sushi were also quite nice.
The soup dumplings were quite bland unfortunately, and the drink selection is very limited for a tapas-style restaurant.
A place to die for. I’ve been vegan for 6 years and I’ve never had such a tasteful meal. I’m very glad to have chosen this place for my birthday meal. Now I’ll come back every time I visit London. Amazing food, amazing service (cutest waitresses ever!) and amazing interior design. We loved it! Thank
Lovely vegetarian and vegan friendly spot. Great options for lunch, we found the £15 offer which included a ramen bowl and side was great value for a filling lunch.
Fab service even though we booked the last spot before they closed for lunch.
