The Bite offers a nice food selection. The pizzas we had were well done and the olive oil, something i always look for in Italian places. Service is quick and friendly, staff nice. In the end, a good place for a dinner.
This italian restaurant has probably the best pizza I have had in London. Great tiramisu as well. Nice small place with quirky decor. Would recommend.
Am here on a Sunday evening. Very relaxed place to be. Immediately settle in with a nice soundtrack after a busy day. We'd been on a little road trip out of London and ended up unwittingly in the coastal seafood town of West Mersea. Mental note to go back there as we didn't have much time but persuaded a local restaurant owner to serve us some fantastic oysters before they closed up. Had seafood on the mind so chose the mussel pizza here and a glass of house white to accompany it. The base was nice and light but mussels rather sparse.... I counted 6 equally spaced which kind of said to me they were strategically placed so as to avoid liberal scattering. All in all I can't really complain at the price though and as a house white its pretty good. Miso want a few more mussels next time!
Italian home made traditional wood burning stove pizza. Ive had some decent calzone. But this small place in dalston is amazing. Real fresh crisp with amazing toppings topped to make a calzone. But this place has a additional treat chocolate calzone its absolutely amazing. Never tasted anything like it. Only i wished i didnt have a main and gone straight to desserts. Wonderful place. Love it.
I've been regularly visiting for the past 2 years. The pizza dough is excellent, never disappoints, and the ingredients are always fresh. The atmosphere is very cozy, and the staff is polite. It's a friendly environment. And the variety of beers is fantastic!
Wow!!! Such a placeeeeee 😧🤤
Extremely delicious pizza!!!!!!!!
I truly recommend diavola and the other one with burrata. Wow! So delicious.
I also tried formagie one but was not as good as the other ones.
The service is great and so fast.
Additionally the oils are great too!
Decent place. To preface this, I ordered online via Deliveroo and sadly the driver had sort of mangled the pizza box at some point as some of the toppings had gone lopsided. No hate on the pizzeria itself though, there’s little they can do to the control that. So, onto the review: I ordered the Lucifero pizza (pictured) and homemade Tiramisu (not pictured). I actually thought for what I paid it was pretty good. Was it the best pizza I ever had? No. But for the price I paid online (12.50 for the former, 6 for the latter) I can’t really complain. The pizza was nice and tasty, not too filling and the crust was pretty good. I enjoyed it and quite liked whatever style they call it. The topping would kinda slide off as you lifted a slice but I didn’t really care that much as the actual taste was nice - but I could see why some people don’t like that. The tiramisu was probably the stand out for me for me. Granted, I haven’t had a lot of those in my life as I’m generally not a dessert person, but I was pleasantly surprised by how light it was and the nice taste of coffee that underpinned it. It wasn’t too sweet and was easy to get through so I can only conclude it was pretty good! All in all I’d definitely give this place a go if ordering online or just in the area. I’ll certainly be making a trip down as the prices are super reasonable. Thanks guys.
Good pizzas, nice staff and space!
We ordered 2 parmigiana, 1 diabola and 1 quatro stagioni.
We eated it so fast, so we can't take good pictures of the full pizzas...
In love with the tshirt of the pizzaiolo "Bare decent", i would like to buy one (:
Good job!
I love Gordos!! I’d walked past about 5 times before I finally went in, but every time the smell of their wood-oven pizza reminded me I needed to try it. I’m so happy I finally did! Ordered the Diavola pizza for takeout and they had it ready for me in minutes. It was generously topped and their red sauce is tasty.
Good pizza, fast and polite service. Decor is that of a glorified take away, not a restaurant. If you do not require an atmospheric venue, and just want to pop in for a quick tasty pizza, it fits the bill.
I've spent a lot of time eating pizza in Naples and I often struggle to scratch that itch here in London. Gordos does a pretty damn good job at creating Napoli style wood oven pizza using fresh ingredients that are reasonably priced (by London standards at least) and so for that I'd give them a solid 8.5/10. Definitely the best pizza in the Dalston area so worth a go if you're craving delicious thin crust pizza.
Very tasty, authentic pizza and some nice summery cocktail options. We visit this cozy spot often - great atmosphere, friendly staff and food is ready in no time!
This pizzeria is amazing! There's lots of choice of pizza in London but this place really hits the spot. Honestly worth a visit!
As Italian I found the pizza great!
Well cooked and seasoned.
The dough is Neapolitan style (fluffy and soft).
I took the pizza take away. I've been attended kindly and waited for my pizza in the simple and cosy table area.
They'll see me again.
Sorry, no pictures, I couldn't wait to eat the pizza and I haven't thought of taking one! Next time I will!
Gordos is now firing on all cylinders, their pizza has been dialled in . You get flavourful dough with a very good tomato base, quality cheese and toppings. Fresh tasty and never dry. A cut above most pizza that's for sure. Best of all it's a reasonable price as well with no added service charge when dining in. Can't go wrong . Highly recommended
This is my fave pizza joint in the area. Would recommend this place highly to anyone. Order out or come sit in and see the chefs perform magic as they make your pizza!
I love this place. Has been my local pizzeria for years and they have really good vegan cheese. Never leave the crust behind and their pizza has been very consistent over the years. 5 stars!
Went in for a last minute dinner… wasn’t disappointed… really yummy pizza… had the puttanesca, the crust was fluffy and light and toppings just right, with a green salad which was super fresh.
Great service with a smile too!
As a vegan pizza experience, this was 10/10, incredible cheese and pizza base sublime. Lovely friendly service and good location. Don't get pizza anywhere else!
Lively little place just around the corner from Dalston junction. Only recently discovered it and the pizzas are awesome. They do eat in or take out, good service without any long waits. Definitely recommended and now on my list of local eateries.
The vegan pizza are amazing, probably the best in Hackney. This place deserves a cult following, I absolutely love it!!
I've only ever had delivery from here, so I can't comment on the restaurant itself, or on the service.. But I have absolutely loved the pizzas I've ordered from this place. Delicious! It's now my go to for pizza delivery in Hackney (and there are lots of options!) :)
