Freshly made sushi in front of you. Great quality sushi at reasonable prices for central London.

Place is tiny and service not great but the good quality allows you to overlook these flaws

I really love this place, soft shell crab hand roll is my favourite, fresh sushi for good value, as well as free unlimited Japanese green tea. I highly recommended.

Oh, this is a place for sushi! The restaurant is small enough but you get to see the chef prepare the dishes with such a skill. Some os the dishes are invredibly creative on top of it, and the traditional ones are tasty, balanced and very very fresh. Staff is very friendly and kind. Will be coming back for sure!! Special recommendation: #salmonandprawnroll beautiful!! Green tea is complimentary.

I am a huge fan of Sushi and eat it as often as I can, and thus I have noticed that it always comes down to the quality of the fish.  And thus for me everything else is just extra.

When I visited Kulu Kulu Sushi I felt that the Sushi was well done and there was an appropriate amount of options to choose from.  The staff are friendly and the décor is simple yet effective.

However, I have had lots better and would not choose to travel to this particular restaurant specifically to quench my sushi craving.  However, if you do happen to be around the area when the craving hits you, there are worse places to go than Kulu Kulu Sushi.

Small and cost, Kulu Kulu had been around for ages and has still managed to retain its appeal, despite chain sushi outlets having the same conveyor belt concept. The mini dishes are good overall, but there wasn't a stand-out dish. However, I did find the selection limiting, as plates and plates came out of the conveyor belt rather similar. I have been to places where they are more creative and "innovate" the dishes. Being central London, prices are elevated, and therefore, customers' expectations for more distinctive dishes increase. Service is responsive, and staff are friendly. Ambience was one of a "cosy chatty" backdrop. We enjoyed our dinner.

Good restaurant Ok variety of sushi Couple of fish dishes looked a bit dry There was a wait to get in 80% food tasted fresh Pricing wasn't that worth ... as the food wasn't that fresh ... but not bad at all We liked mostly everything May be we could visit again Toilets were clean .. Happy to see that

It is a small casual sushi conveyor belt spot located just off Piccadilly Circus. The food is pretty good but the portions could be larger given that it is expensive. The restaurant is small so would recommend coming in a small group or coming fairly close to opening time if going on the weekend as they do have a 45 min time limit when they are busy. Also take note that it is walk-in only. I would recommend the tofu, sashimi, tempura and what I believe is raw tuna mixed with some seasoning with spring onion on top but I can’t recall the name.

SUSHI HEAVEN 🍣 📍London, Soho ⭐️ 5/5 💸£ 🍴First restaurant I give 5/5 stars! It has just become my favourite sushi restaurant in London ❤️ It's a small but cozy conveyor belt sushi restaurant operating in Soho since 1995! Insane right? We tried almost all the small plates and all was delicious. Sashimi and the aubergine plate impressed me so much 🤤 They only accept walk-ins so be prepared to queue, but I promise it's 100% worth it!

Super pleased with the food and atmosphere here, got filled up for a decent price with an incredible fresh array of large sushi, tempura, great quality sashimi! Constantly replaced, so you’re definitely not getting anything cold or stale. Much better than yosushi, and definitely hard to find conveyor belt places in London these days- happy these are still going! Very fast service too, very good chefs👍👍👍👍

It’s a great hidden gem, where the soft crab 🦀 roll is really impressive and I also like their salmon and mackerel shushi too. It’s worth to try !!!

Fantastic place to go for conveyor belt sushi. Went here for lunch with a friend and we both really enjoyed the experience and the food. I'm particularly fussy with certain types of fish but I enjoyed everything I ate here. Definitely tasted fresh and made with care. Good value too for central London prices. Definitely be back.

The best sushi place in London I have ever tried so far :) So fresh and it tastes really good. They're quite busy in the dinner time. We had to queue but it didn't take us that long for waiting time though (15mins roughly) One good thing that made me think this place worths the hype is that they gave lots of fish and stuff inside the rolls💖 Will definitelty come back again soon!

Best sushi I’ve had in the UK. Portion sizes are huge and the food is very fresh. I went in the late evening and the chef was still making sushi in front of us. Bathroom is clean enough. Highly recommend.

very cute & small sushi place! not the most options going around the conveyor belt, but you can order off the menu. prices are higher than other sushi places around but it was tasty & a nice experience.

Once you’ve eaten here you’ll want to come back again and again. My wife and I have been coming back for years, ever since we stumbled upon it. By the time they open at 12:00 the bar is almost full so be prepared to wait. This is a local sushi bar not a high end fine dining restaurant. Expect nice staff, good food and somewhere to enjoy it away from the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly Circus, just a stones throw away. Compared to the high street sushi bars, well, there is no comparison. The sushi is bigger, better and you’ll spend less here.

I've been going here since 2003 and it's still £ for £ one of the best sushi places you can go, especially in central London. They'll make anything you want fresh os don't worry about the conveyor belt if something looks like it's been doing the rounds too long! Super friendly staff, if you go make sure to order the crab hand roll, tempura hand roll and miso aubergine, these are a must, plus the fried salmon head which I love.

Great conveyor belt sushi restaurant and reasonable prices for central London. Sashimi was all delicious! Staff friendly and helpful. I was a little disappointed with the egg nigiri which is why only 4 stars as that's usually my favourite. Pile of empty plates for 2 of us hopefully speaks volumes!

Absolutely stunning food. Enjoyed it so much that we went back again the next day too. In fact, we'll now visit every time we're in London. Can not praise it highly enough - and this is speaking as a vegetarian too!
